I love this coat, it's ALMOST perfect. The shoulders fit perfectly. The arms are slightly long (but that's ok given it's a snowboard coat, and I love the thumb holes to keep snow from going up my arms). The only issue is it's a little too snug in my hips (I'm a mom and I have proportionally bigger hips). I don't want to size up, though, as I really only want a look more room at the bottom -- the rest fits great. I'm going to return, sadly. I really loved the rest of it. For reference, I typically wear a size 29 or 30 in pants.

I just got this jacket in martini olive and had a hard time with figuring out what size to get. The reviews were not entirely helpful as they didn’t reference size purchased vs actually body measurements. I am 5’6” tall and have broad shoulder. I am usually a medium or 6/8 in tops and a Medium,27-28 or size 6 in bottoms. I typically get a size medium, however I purchased a Large because my chest was a 37.5” and I have broad shoulders. Fits great. I thought the large might be too long length wise but it’s fine. So size up if you got big shoulders cause it’s narrow up there. Hope this helps!

Haven't boarded in this jacket yet, will have to wait until next season. But I originally purchased the Burton Lelah jacket in camo and love it, but when I saw the Prowess variation of the camo print, I wanted to try that too. Overall I think it's super cute and flattering. There's a good amount of pockets and also has a season pass zipper pocket on the left arm, which the Burton Lelah does not have (weird to me that certain ski/snowboard jackets get designed without that??) But yeah, will most likely keep the Prowess. It's got the best intention behind the design compared to most other snow jackets I've tried on.

This jacket is great! So far when I have worn it, it has kept me warm in all the right places with being light weight. The under arm zippers allows you to get the right amount of ventilation when you start to feel warm. Plus with the cinched waist it's flattering. Also the purple I got is a beautiful color. I would highly recommend!
This is my favorite jacket to board in. I LOVE the length, and purposely bought it because I like a looser, baggy feel when I'm riding. It is not super form fitted, so if that's what you're going for, I would opt out of this style. It hits exactly where it's designed to at mid-thigh, and keeps the bum covered and toasty. The pockets in front are excellent and easily accessible. I always keep the underarm vents open, and I stay completely dry regardless of weather conditions. I run warm when I board and only wear a sports bra + 1 base layer (plus my bibs) and have never been cold. For reference, I'm 5'4" athletic build 36 breast, 30 waist, 43 hip and bought a large. I could have probably worn a medium but like I said, I don't like my gear super tight.
For reference I’m 5’7, 105 lbs. I got the Medium because I hate slim jackets that you can’t move properly in, also wear a back protector. If you are the same build and like a slimmer jacket get the Small. I like these jackets for the longer length, Companies seem to be making slim, skier jackets for snowboarders. The fabric is soft very comfortable. Two zip chest pockets on the outside are great. Be nice if there was one on the inside instead of 2 dump pockets, only need one. I don’t like patch pocekts on any snowboard jacket. They make you look bottom heavy. These are hard to get into with the irritating velcro plus a zipper. Slash, zippered pockets would be the easiest and best. The insulation is not overwhelming. The collar is my main issue. It is extremely wide, ... MoreFor reference I’m 5’7, 105 lbs. It is extremely wide, It will not keep the wind from around your neck. I’ll have to wear a few neck tubes to keep out the -25 temps with wind chill. I’d sugggest narrowing the collar. These are just my sticking points. They may not bother others. All round nice jacket.
I don't ski or snowboard, I got this for shoveling and snowblowing/plowing on my tractor while it's snowing. I had to get a long jacket because when I sit on my tractor, all my other jackets ride up in the back and wet snow hits my lower back, and it also drips down the seat. For this particular problem I decided to hit up the ski world because I know the gear would be good for it. It is true. This jacket keeps me completely warm and dry while out in heavy snow (upstate NY) and the length of the jacket prevents a cold wet lower back. It was a little too warm for shoveling but perfect for the tractor which is less physical work. The hood is very large and kept my whole head dry, I think it would easily go over a helmet. It was a little too warm for shoveling but perfect for the tractor which is less physical work. The hood is very large and kept my whole head dry, I think it would easily go over a helmet. The fuzzy stuff around the collar was not that good for going out in falling snow. I didn't have it zipped up all the way and as soon as I walked out into the snow the fuzzy stuff collected snowflakes and was cold and wet (not water repellent). If it's not snowing it's not a problem. I got the brown color and love it. I love all the pockets especially the stretchy mesh ones on the inside because I was able to throw my phone in there and easily access it even with gloves on.I decided to write a review because I am larger than all the other reviewers and am using this for a different purpose than it was intended for. It is a good winter jacket, you don't have to be doing snow sports.
I'm so happy I came across this jacket while traveling and wondering through a Moosejaw store. I initially tried it on for the color (which is perfect shade of blue). Then I tried it on- it is very comfortable and easy to move in. A few weeks later, it snowed and I was able to try it out in single digit temps. I walked outside in it for over an hour and it kept me very warm. It has great pockets and is very practical to wear for long periods of time. I also get many compliments when I wear it!
I bought this cute and was so happy with it with it arrived! I love the color and the fit or the coat. However, the coat arrived with a few scuff marks on it. I contact the support team and they were so helpful throughout the whole process and so easy to work with. They gave me what my options were ( since the coat was then out of stock) and were great with communications. LOVE IT.
I bought this jacket in store, mid-season so there was limited choices. I’m glad I picked this one! For the price, amazing quality. I do tend to run hot when I’m skiing so the pit-zips are essential. Great storage with the internal pockets, the only reason for four stars vs five is the front pockets, they are hard to access without taking your gloves off. I have great mobility in this jacket and it has a nice length too if you don’t have bibs.
