My street shoes number is 35 (mando 22). Before purchasing these boots, I have tried all different Burton step on boots both 35 and 36,5 (23).In this particular one, there was no 35 (out of stock). But both in Limelight and Ritual, 35 was small for me and even wearing themfor 5 minutes at home, without riding, was giving some pain. Even though I did not have the chance to try 35 of this one, I have decidedto purchase 36,5 as they felt slightly big but 35 was feeling small so I thought this should be the fit and they felt much better than the 36,5 sizes of Limelight andRitual. Hence, I have purchased them and then tried them on, ride with them. They do not feel comfortable at all when riding! They are a bit big, hence I have to tie them up really tight, there are different pressure points. In addition, toe turns are hard to do because they are not tight on the toe side. I am not really sure why not producing half size on a high end product! I think if they had 22,5 , it would fit perfectly. Now I ended up with having a really expensive product and cannot do anything with it. I also ended up having the bindings, which I like but I have limited options on boots. I do not advise anyone to have them, because you have purchase both and if the one of them does not feel comfortable you will be ending up spending more than 600.

These did not stay clamped into my step on bindings and came out when I was on the lift and when I fell a few times. I had to figure out how to step back into them while on a ski lift which was incredibly difficult and dangerous to skiers below. My bindings are burton 2020 and I was told all step in bindings were compatible but this is not the case.

The boots are high quality and beautifully designed. We had my daughter measured at a local sporting goods store that specializes in snowboarding. They recommended a 6.5 so we ordered the 6.5 boot but it was too small. I called Burton customer service they ordered a new pair which I received in two says. I sent the other pair back I’m just waiting for the credit. I had an awesome experience with Burton’s customer service they made it easy and we’re super nice. I hope the gear stands up to the test. They look and feel solid so I’m sure they’ll be awesome. Thanks Burton!

As someone who rode High Back Step-in's 20+ years ago and quickly went back to regular bindings, the tech has advanced so much it is truly like night and day! These boots are super comfy - cannot tell the difference between the step in boots and my last pair of regular boots. Having the ease of step in with the feel and control you would expect from standard bindings is a must-have for any rider like me on the other side of 40!!!
So, I read a lot of reviews before I chose this boot mainly because I was intrigued by the ankle strap. I read reviews that said to order a half size larger and that they were stiff.I am a size 8 normally, and I?ve only ever wore burton boots so I already knew my size SHOULD have been an 8, however the reviews I read were right, these run a half size small. My toes are against the tip of the boot even after trying to wear them around the house for about an hour. I?m 5?6, 240lbs, and have larger calves however I still have always been able to wear my true to size 8. I havnt always been overweight but even my boots from when I was much skinnier still fit me.These boots are more than stiff, they are like trying to fit a square in a circle. I havnt always been overweight but even my boots from when I was much skinnier still fit me.These boots are more than stiff, they are like trying to fit a square in a circle. It took me well over a minute just to try and wiggle my foot into the boots and it was not a comfortable process. The inner ?soft? boot has Velcro on either side of the tongue to secure the tongue in place, but these just make the boot fit oddly and honestly make a pressure point in the shin area, I couldn?t even Velcro them so it was a waste, terrible design concept with the Velcro, it?s not practical for an every day rider unless u are petite sized.I cannot express the amount of stiffness in this boot, I?ve NEVER worn a boot this stiff, it?s insane. I don?t think I can comfortably ride in these, I?m going to return for a regular burton boa step on boot.Don?t waste your money, get the normal kind of boot without the ankle strap. I honestly thought the ankle strap would make a difference, it doesn?t. Trust Me, I?ve been boarding since I was 10, I?m not 35. I?m super disappointed, I thought it would be a game changer, it?s not. These or super uncomfortable.
The Burton Felix Step On Boots are great boots if you're an intermediate-advanced rider interested in entering the Step On world. I personally don't love the limitations that come from getting invested in the Step On ecosystem. Burton only offers five step on boots for womenat this time, which likely covers most riders, but I, personally, would want a stiffer boot with Speed Zone laces and that does not exist at the time of writing this. Burton also only offers five women's Step On boots to the men's eight, and it would be great to see equal offerings in the future. Fortunately, the Felix Boots come in a regular (non Step On) model so it's a pretty moot scenario. Boots are comfortable and adjustable but sizing is tricky. I’m normally in size 7.5 but 8.5 with a thin sock fits too this time. But as more often you wear, it will be slightly larger. I’m switching to size 8 for a longterm use.
This is my first step on boot. I definitely will now go back to use strap on. Step on system helps me to save a lot of time in crouching down and standing up. I can really use the strength wasted in better use like snowboarding :DHight recommended
Stiffer than average but responsive! Very easy to get onto toe edge. The double boa system also help bind the heels to the boots. Rode them at -15C and my toes are warm and toasty. The step on system takes a while to get used to as you would have to do all three clicks right at the same time.No regrets and very happy with the purchase so far!
I’ve always wanted to purchase Step On Boots. They are very easy to use and extremely comfortable. I am a size 8 women, which fits perfectly. Stick to your normal size. This product makes snowboarding so much easier.
