For reference: 5'5" tall, 110lbs, age 41, purchased size medium in seal brown. These pants are perfect. Super warm without restriction of movements. Comfortably my normal pants actual waist measurement laying flat is 32" and that allows me freedom to move without being overly baggy. These pants are loose enough to fit a good base layer under. The length is a bit long (more a tall size) but I'm not above rolling them up. Rise is perfect!! Midrise on me. (Normal pant rise actual measurment for me matching this fit is about 9") Thank goodness someone is still making pants that i don't feel like I have to give a neck size in place of a waist size! I loathe high waist fitting pants. Well built and designed. I'm definitely ordering more.

Gloria, my dear, I respect that you're growing, changing, + evolving. For my needs, though, we're just not as compatible as we were a few years ago. Back then, your fabric was hella waterproof, durable, AND stretched like my favorite skinny jeans. You hugged my hips, stayed close to my athletic waist, + complimented my thick, athletic thighs. I loved you so, four years ago. These days, Gloria, when you come to me in a new green Evo bag, you're just not the same. Your textile is beautiful and resilient, but not nearly as flexible and flattering as you were before. You constrict my thighs that you once loved, and you hang away from my waist. And, to be honest? There's something about the way you fold around my butt that's just not so sweet...Bottom line, baby, we ... MoreGloria, my dear, I respect that you're growing, changing, + evolving. A word of caution, stay away from the chicks like me with thick things and who demand flexibility AND durability. Best wishes, dear Gloria. Maybe in another incarnation, we can be together again. Until then, I'm off to find a model who's stylish and tough like me, who wants to be on the snow 80+ days a season, + stays put on my waist and moves with my quads. With love,Mariah[These are not the same model of Gloria pants produced several years ago. The textile is WAY different, in that it's not stretchy and durable like the old model, + the cut feels way different, too. I typically wear a size small, 4. I'm 5'7" and 130-135 with muscular legs (I'm a snowboard instructor) The small in this model was way too constricting on my thighs, + loose on my waist with a weird and very unflattering fit on my bum. If you're here because you loved your last pair of Glorias to bits, find someone new. Gloria just isn't the same. I wish it weren't true.]Reps of evo: If you know of some cute snowboard pants that are stylish + durable, fit fabulously for my build as described, please email me.

Best snow pants I've ever had! I am 5'3-5'4, 120lbs with an athletic build (gymnast/yogi). Thicker thighs, butt, with smaller hips. I normally wear a 27" natural waist/ size 4 size jean. I purchased a Small per the Burton's Size Chart. Although these pants are slim fit, these fit me PERFECTLY. I was a little nervous about getting them because of my build, but I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. When I first tried them on, they are low-rise and naturally big in the waist, but the built-in belt did the job to fit snug. The pant leg is long and flared; perfect for when you have your snowboard boots on.When I wore them on the mountain, I was able to wear thin leggings underneath these pants and still had flexibility. Very comfortable pair of snow pants and I highly recommend!

I had to do an online search to find adequate reviews before purchase searching for those referencing actual measurements versus their height and weight which isn't helpful at all since we distribute weight differently. For reference: My waist is currently 27 1/2" x hips currently 38" x thighs currently 23" (this is an important measurement people often overlook - but having purchased a pair of skinny jeans recently thigh size matters) my inseam is 31" Telling you my height and weight couldn't possible tell you if these pants will be a fit or how they will fit around your thighs, hips, or waist. Measurements are 'currently' noted because I've been sick and unable to workout, so I was looking for a pant that I could wear now (comfortably) and would fit still as I ... MoreI had to do an online search to find adequate reviews before purchase searching for those referencing actual measurements versus their height and weight which isn't helpful at all since we distribute weight differently. Measurements are 'currently' noted because I've been sick and unable to workout, so I was looking for a pant that I could wear now (comfortably) and would fit still as I make my way back to my normal measurements which are 26" waist x 35 1/2 - 36 1/2" hips x 19" thighs. I tried them on bare skin and w a baselayer by Smartwool and they were a perfect fit. Ever so a tiny bit snug in the thigh (as I expect they would be) but I can still bend down into a crouch and I could run in these as is. The waist is low exactly what I wanted, no muffin top, bulge, as it arrived it fits perfect, and it is adjustable so as my weight returns to normal I can bring the waist in and the thighs will be less snug (although not restricting). Pants are not bulky, I purchased not for skiing, but for winter hikes in the woods. The leg openings fit over my Baffin Snowgoose Boots and the length did not drag nor was it too short, again the fit is like it was made for my body, they are slimming, and make the butt look better than some of my jeans. Great cut in the waist, hip, thighs and calves. If your measurements are similar it's a good purchase. For those who find it helpful, my weight runs between 122 & 127 depending on the day w both sets of measurements. Hope this was helpful.
These pants are stunning, comfortable, and very warm! I can't wait to hit the mountains in these bad boys. The only thing I would make note of is the color. In the online photo, the color is very peachy. But in person they are much darker, more of a rust/red color. But honestly I find the actual color more flattering! Also, this product runs true to size! I bought a large at first expecting it to be small, but I had to send back and exchange for a medium.
I love that these snow pants are insulated because it keeps me warm on the slopes but not too warm. My only complaint is that the fit is very strange. I am typically Medium and I ordered a Medium in these. The legs are super slim / tight on my thighs and they are very loose in the butt and waist area. I tightened them as much as possible and they still kind of fall down at the waist which is kind of annoying. I don't have big thighs and a super small butt / waist so I'm not sure how these snow pants are fitting anyone else. Otherwise, I like them. The folkstone gray color is fun.
I’m 5’5’’ tall and had ordered the XS. The pant legs were too long and would have been damaged by my boots with time. Granted, snowboard boots would probably have been fine, but regular hiking / snow boots aren’t large enough to prevent the pants legs from dragging on the ground. Also, when they say low rise, they truly mean low rise. So, it’s cool if that’s what you want. Personally, I feel that a higher rise would be more efficient in keeping snow out.
Very warm. I wore them in -4 temp. Legs are extremely slender and don't match up with the waist size so size up and get a belt if you have thighs. I am a small but couldn't comfortably wear a base layer in the leg's although the waist was perfect. I had to go with a Medium and get a belt because even on the smallest adjustment they were still too big.
These pants are awesome. Love the pockets and the slimming effect they give. The waist is a tad big, but added a belt and all good. They are very low rise and are long on me and drag while in normal shoes, but fine when in ski boots. They are easy to move in while on the mountain and keep me warm. Saving up to buy a pair in a different color. They are worth the money. For reference, I'm 5'3", 135lbs, athletic build and bought a medium. Snug in the thighs but not tight, little big in waist.
i absolutely love my new burton snowboard pants. I love that they have a short version so that it fits my 5' 2 short legs. I also can't believe what steep sale it was on! Burton knows snowboarding best and i love that they construct clothes to make it most functional for being on the mountain. zippers to let air in or close for more warmth, zippered pockets so that things don't fall out. the fit is also cute!
