I love the texture of this lip balm. It has a thick texture that is longer-lasting and feels like it's more moisturizing. I love the peppermint too, which keeps me from chewing at my lips. I will say that I have put this on before putting on a face mask, which ended up burning my eyes from the peppermint fumes. I just have unscented balms for those instances, but besides that, I have multiple tubes of this everywhere. It probably helps that Burt's Bees donates a lot of products to the Food Bank in Durham, NC, so local food pantries who get their stock from there usually get boxes of these. I'm not complaining though! I stock up whenever I do see them there :o)

I have tried an obscene amount of chapsticks over the years and this one has remained - at the top. I know that everyone has their own preference, but this is the only one that actually helps and prevents my chapped lips. It is a staple to have at home and in my purse. I am someone who enjoys mint and so if you don’t then I suggest trying a different flavor. You could give this as part of a gift, put it in an Easter basket or stocking. This is worth every penny to me! If you are considering try it, do it! Hopefully you will love it as much as I do.

Burt’s Bees lip balms are a staple for me. They simply smell incredible and are super convenient to carry around with me wherever I go! They have a peppermint scent that makes them super refreshing and they also feel super silky smooth on the lips, whilst also hydrating and protecting them. The size of the balms are ideal, making them easy to have on the go. I actually own a few and have one in my coat, my bag and my car, so I can always have one with me. The packaging whilst been convinient, is also super cute and fits the brand theme of being a “natural line made from beeswax”. They do what they say and are also super affordable, I also have a couple of the scented ones which are just as lovely! Burt’s Bees are my go to brand for any lip balm related product.

There are a lot of lip balms out there, any many of them sound like they are going to moisturize and protect your lips, but honestly, so many of them fall waaaaaay short! Not this one. Burt's Bees is exceptionally good lip balm. You will really feel and see the superiority of this product when you start to use and and then realize how lousy some other brands are! There are a variety of flavors to choose from, and that is frankly just a matter of preference. Some flavors are tremendous and others, are just ok in my opinion but overall it is the performance of this product that makes me give it the stars!

Honestly adore this balm, especially the tinted ones. Ive bought them for years and have found a few shades that look super nice on me as well as hydrating and making my lips super nice 😍. I wear it almost every day for my day-to-day life without much other makeup.The formula is super creamy and even holds up pretty well if i forget it in the car :))Colours are vast and have shades for literally everyone ive introduced to themIm personally not the hugest fan of the light and/or shimmery shades but know people like my mother who wear them all the time :)Overall 10/10 ive never been disappointed

Beloved chapstick, but new formula?

My love for Burt’s Bees started with their original chapstick over 20 years ago and blossomed into other items they have made over the years. I’m also known to supply everyone with Burt’s Bees stocking stuffers every Christmas!However, a 4 pack of chapstick I bought for myself has a weird and undesirable chemical smell. Opened the rest in the 4 pack, and they all have the chemical smell. I had others in my family smell and try it out, and they all agree on the bad chemical smell! Is there a change in the formula? I truly hope not, because if it’s not broke, don’t fix it! I have since stopped using the 4 pack until I can get some answers, but hope this was just a bad batch.

How is this so popular..?

I really don't understand why this one, the original peppermint lip balm, gets such good reviews. I always try so hard to like it; I've tried it for years, but it just doesn't work. It feels too waxy, and not moisturizing enough at all. I have to glop on a lot of it, and even then it doesn't even work much better. And the SCENT--holy cow. I love peppermint oil, but this is so extreme. It's overpowering, and burns when you have chapped lips! So what's the point of using it..? I wish they would revamp this formula.

Lip Balm staple

Burt's Bees Lip Balm beeswax is one of my staples. I have one in my purse, one at my desk, one in my car, and one on my elliptical. Probably another one here or there. I've heard that lip balm is addictive, and maybe it is the reason for my obsession. I cannot live without Burt's Bees as previously listed. I find that the 4 pack is the best priced option. I tend to usually only purchase the original. I've tried the colored ones, but did not like them as much. Burt's Bees brand makes other very great items. When my kids were newborns I would use the baby lotion on them. And I also usually purchase the hand salve. Keep it up Burt's. The only thing is that some of the items could be a bit pricy.

RECEIVED 3 YEAR OLD EXPIRED PRODUCTS

Purchased these to add to gift baskets for teachers for thanksgiving as a way of saying Thank you.1. They arrived almost a week later.2. They sent the wrong products.Too late, have to give the gifts out.Later, I get a call from one of the teachers telling me that her lip balms are completely dried out.I am SO EMBARRASSED!I immediately called Burt's Bees to check the expiration date and they confirmed that product is over 3 years old! In fact, they no longer even carry this product in this packaging and they haven't for years, NOR THE ONE THEY ARE LISTING (The 4 pack Holiday Lip Balms) 6 pack. Meaning it is likely expired too.I won't be making the mistake of trusting resellers again.
