Buzz Lightyear Toy Story 4 Figure

These seem to keep kids entertained for a bit. My daughter loves Buzz Lightyear. They are pretty expensive I feel that they could be made to be a little bit more sturdier. You can buy them at Walmart, target or almost anywhere toys are sold.

Fun figure!

Got this toy for my son! He loves toy story and buzz is his favorite. The arms and the legs are possible which is a neat feature to have to make this more fun than just a stationary figure. I gave this 4 stars because while it’s fun and my son LOVES it- I think that buzz should have his helmet, maybe a retractable one but I think that buzz’ helmet helps make the character.

Fun-size replica of Buzz

My 4 year old loves his new Buzz toy! He said his favorite thing to do with Buzz is “fly” him around the house (during which he runs around the house holding Buzz in the air saying “to infinity and beyond”). The size is bigger than I expect but is prefect size for preschoolers. Plus, the size makes it seem more realistic to the movie. My only disappointment is that Buzz doesn’t have helmet. I guess the helmet is supposed to be in the open position so there is no plastic covering for his head. I feel like this was a missed feature. Otherwise, we are loving this Buzz toy. It’s lots of fun to use when reading our Toy Story books. We look forward to getting the rest of the set so Buzz has some friends!

Great Playability and Posing

Received the Buzz Lightyear figure and instantly my three kids went about having Space Ranger Adventures. The figure is very posable with multiple jointed locations on the wrists, arms, legs, waist and head. As far as action figures go this one seems to be built very sturdy and has already taken a few drops to the ground without any incident. The one negative takeaway that the kids have said are that it would have been better if he had his wings, his helmet shield, a flip-up arm accesory for his wrist communicator, or of course lights/sound, which I have seen some of which are included in the Blast-Off Buzz Lightyear which incidentally is twice the price (You get what you pay for) as this version. Great figure, but really... no dome helmet!? or wings.

Surprisingly nice quality for the price. Reminds me of my childhood when toys were made well and worth saving for. Daughter loves Buzz, and Woody version as well. Woody at least feels complete. Minus 3 stars... where is Buzz’s dome helmet!? It’s such a big part of his character, as are the wings. What’s it cost, 2 more dollars manufacturing to add this? Oddly, there is even a ridge around his collar so I initially thought a part was missing. Really poor design choice on Disney’s part here for what would have been a perfectly sized, 5 star figure. Great for little kids who won’t notice this, but otherwise kind of feels like getting an incomplete figure.

Great non noisy buzz lightyear

Let’s just say with my oldest son we had a buzz lightyear that I made quietly disappear after too many torture car trips with loud talking buzz. This is prefect. I rather my kid use his imagination and have the characters talk. Great birthday present. First thing my son said was where is the cowboy? So affordable you can buy the whole crew.

Great price/value for a Disney toy!

Great toy for the price. I knew the toy wasn’t coming with the helmet or wings and for the price I was ok with that. Other reviewers seemed disappointed with that. The toy doesn’t talk either which I prefer so my toddler isn’t making it talk all day long like his Woody toy. He absolutely loves it and doesn’t notice the lack of helmet or wings. The joints are all moveable and it is a decent size- just a little shorter than a Barbie for reference.

Great quiet figure

Initially, my six year old was disappointed that the toy didn’t make sounds. However, he quickly overcame it and played with Buzz for a couple hours. It rates four stars only for this “kid downfall” however as a parent, it’s kind of nice to have a toy that doesn’t make sounds and requires imagination. The arms and legs are easy to pose and so far appear durable to withstand the active play of a boys ages 6 and 3.

Great size action figure

I received this Toy story Buzz Lightyear Figure for my almost 4 and almost five year old sons to play with and test out in order for me to provide feedback on the product. While I did not purchase this product, I most definitely would purchase it, and will be looking to purchase the Toy Story Woody figure as a companion for my sons to play with. They love to do re-enactments from the movies with this action figure and even put Buzz in new and exciting scenarios. It is the perfect size action figure and very sturdy. It doesn’t make any noise, which allows children to use their own voices and imaginations while playing. Overall I think it is an awesome toy and would recommend to any parents with children who adore toy story!

Lots of fun

Buzz is a nice size, 7 inches tall by about 5 inches wide. His right hand could hold something the width of a drinking straw, if your child wants to make something for him. All his joints, including his neck, move, and he can stand by himself. For the price, he is a lot of fun, and should provide lots of imaginative play. It would not be hard to make a helmet for him from a little plastic medicine cup.
