I recieved this product from Influenster and Bvlgari for free in exchange for my honest review. Elegance in a bottle, Bvlgari MIB is nothing short of amazing, upon first spray you'll get notes of rum, tobacco and spices, then starts drying down with leather, iris and Tuberose. The iris and Tuberose keep a subtle sweetness to balance out the rum and tobacco notes. This all ties in with tonka bean and wood, which keeps sweetness and a sense of masculinity. Very very well rounded scent, great for the cooler nights in a professional setting. Date night, movie, dinner party etc. Needless to say my husband loved it! So sophisticated! Definitely recommend getting your nose on this scent ASAP!

Bvlgari Man In Black has quickly become one of my go-to scents, and for good reason. From the very first spray, the rich mix of spices, rum, and leather immediately grabs attention. It has this warm, slightly smoky vibe that feels classy and masculine without being too overpowering. Honestly, I've gotten more compliments on this cologne than any other I own, especially during evenings out. The longevity is solid too—it lasts about 6-8 hours on me, which is perfect for a night out or a long event. I was a little hesitant about the price at first, but after looking it up and considering how luxurious it feels (and all the compliments I get), it's totally worth it. If you're looking for a versatile, bold fragrance with a bit of edge, Man In Black is a solid choice.

A gorgeous masculine fragrance. The fragrance changes throughout the day. Immediately after application, it is repulsive: alcoholic, rum. But after a few minutes, this smell goes away and is replaced by the aroma of whiskey, spices, and leather. This spicy fragrance continues to unfold throughout the day. The aroma is sweet, warm, spicy. Despite the fact that the fragrance is sweet, it cannot be called cloying. It is soft and warming. It is difficult for me to imagine such a fragrance on a young man, this smell is for a personable, mature man. Excellent durability. It is heard on clothes and the next day.

The bottle has a dark, masculine vibe that made me excited to try it on my husband. However, the first spray was a bit overwhelming. My initial impression of the scent was quite old-fashioned, reminiscent of fragrances from 20 years ago. After that strong initial burst, it lightened into a different note that was slightly sweet but didn’t last very long. Ultimately, I don’t think I like this scent on my husband; it’s definitely not seductive or alluring enough for my taste. So, it’s a no for me!

A mature, warm winter scent

I got a deluxe sample from Space NK and passed this onto my partner - someone who wears the same cologne day in, day out - a very popular one.He absolutely loved this one, and I did too. When you first smell it, I was picking up a kind of aniseed smell which I’m not too keen on, but once its dried down its gone and its a really warm, woody smell. The best I can describe it is it’s like what I imagine Don Draper would smell like in Mad Men - leather, rum, spice etc.I wouldn’t recommend this for someone young, or for clubbing etc.Only reason this isn’t a 5 is for the initial aniseed smell, and thats just personal preference.

Body Spray Quality

Let's address the proverbial elephant in the room... I ordered several of these for men and women (496, 1162, 1074, 32112, etc...) then saw the reviews where about 50% of people didn't think these fragrances smell good.What that means, is that even if I like it and think it smells okay, 50% of people think it smells bad. We want to smell good and if that many people dislike it then I probably won't wear it out of the house. High end perfume is expensive for a reason - the ingredients like extracts, flowers, and oils, cost a lot to make just a single bottle. A few ounces can require thousands of flowers.So imitations will use lower quality ingredients to cut costs and pass the savings on to consumers. All of these have a very strong alcohol scent as I suspect that's the primary ingredient and why the scent fades quickly. Most of these simply didn't interact well with my body chemistry and seem to have the quality of cheap drugstore body spray for pre-teen girls.One exception was 1074, which left me with a slight scent of sage - much like Yankee's Sage and Citrus candle. My favorite perfume costs several hundred an ounce but I prefer to just save up for it than to give into this. Find a scent uniquely your own that is affordable and not worn by the masses that you can tolerate. There are ones out there that won't make you smell like an old lady or a pre-teen girl on a budget. These are not the answer.

Light sprays will do you good!

I've never smelled the original perfume this is inspired by, but honestly you can't go wrong with anything that has sweet and spicy notes of passionfruit and sandalwood with touches of smoky citrus in my book! It's slightly disappointing that it's in a cheaper plastic bottle but I'll gladly transfer this over to something more suitable in no time! Keep note, this is more of an alcohol fragrance, which can totally be overbearing for some, and I can tell how that could be bothersome, as I'm usually super sensitive to certain scents. Regardless, all you need is a couple of light sprays and you're set! I literally can't stop smelling it and am interested in keeping this as one of my go to scents as it's super sweet, light, floral and fruity.

Soft, woody, powedery smoke

I got this as a sample, and I have really been enjoying wearing this as the weather gets colder. I’m a woman who often veers towards ouds, smoky and woody scents but I like an underlying softness to them so I don’t wind up smelling like smoked bacon. This one definitely has a soft, maybe amber(?) or powder accord to it under the initial punch of spice. It’s not particularly sweet, but the edge is taken off as it dries down. It lasts on me for several hours but I have not found it overpowering at all-in fact I’m not sure it’s particularly noticeable except within close proximity. Warm and complex perfume

I received this perfume as a free sample and was really impressed! Although this is marketed as a men’s fragrance, I enjoyed wearing this myself as a unisex scent (albeit one leaning more masculine!). The scent was complex and sophisticated feeling (I’m not the best at picking out specific notes) and lasted about 3-4 hours on my skin, but longer on clothing. This may be due to the application of the sample - which didn’t have an atomiser (which I know can sometimes help disperse the product more effectively). I’d recommend giving this a go if the scent notes ones you’re interested in. I’d describe this overall as complex, classy and warm. Great for autumn and winter!

Wife loves it.

My wife and I are both avid collectors of fragrances and we love to explore new scents and brands so when this came up with a very appealing note breakdown it was a no brainer. Presentation is obviously not a focus for this brand, simple plastic bag packaging and a very simple cheap spray bottle with just basic black print and very little information seemed a bit concerning at first but as it turns out the bottles sprayer works quite well and not every bottle we have needs to be some extravagant ordeal so we are fine with the simplicity and as a cost cutting measure as long as the ingredients are quality and the scent is good it's not a deal breaker. It's not overly loud or cloying with a decent scent bubble and good longevity. We've smelled Armani's original scent but it's been a while so admittedly it's difficult to draw a comparison but it does smell correct based off our memory and as a fragrance on its own by its own merits it's a really good scent. Very wearable, very versatile and for the low price it's a steal. We were blessed to also try other scents in this line and while we weren't as impressed with the Gucci memoire dune odeur it wasn't a quality issue as much it was just a more vintage style mature scent profile. It smells good and as it turns out my mother in law liked it much more than my wife so it's still a very nice usable scent just more challenging for under 30 crowds. We're very impressed with this brand and just the sheer amount of fragrances they offer, they have everything from the most popular scents out there to some of the more obscure ones so regardless of what you're into they probably have you covered for low low prices. Great scents, great quality and while the packaging is simple it's effective enough (we had no leakage issues). This was a great acquisition and we definitely are interested in exploring this brand further. Blind buy safe (for this particular fragrance but I have to assume the others are as well). Five stars.
