Even though the notes don't look like it would be doing anything that wild (though the sapodilla is definitely unique), it's unique for a unisex-marketed fragrance. I can't think of many other unisex fragrances that smell quite like this one. It has a light, creamy, airy touch in the opening that feels like it's a mist floating around you. That said, I don't think it's as unique when compared to many women's fragrances, and despite being labeled unisex, this leans feminine to me. I haven't smelled a ton of women's fragrances, but even with having smelled relatively few, I've definitely smelled some that have similarities to Mojave Ghost. By no means a dupe, but sort of like a more mature and niche take on that scent profile. I don't like it as something for me to personally wear, but I like it as a scent on others. It would be really appealing on the right person! I can picture walking by someone wearing this and finding it captivating.

I really do like this scent! a lot more than I initially thought I would. And by each passing day I use this ; I fall in love a little more. I love this particular scent for almost any time of the year except maybe very hot summer days. The scent is intoxicating and very well blended. A sweet fruity/floral scent livened up with the woodsy notes in the background; a very round scent without any sharpness. Incredibly versatile. My boyfriend goes crazy for it after he gets home, and I have had it on for over 5 hours at that point. He grabs the nape of my neck and just delves in face first with a big wiff. In such a sexy anamlistic way. I want to see if he would try putting it on in the morning before work, and when he comes home I want to see what I smell- and If his ... It is feminine enough to stand alone thanks to the angelic softer notes, but would make a great unisex fragrance, also!

Byredo Bal d'Afrique is a fragrance that exudes warmth, sweetness, and exoticism. The scent opens with a burst of zesty citrus and tangy bergamot, blended with the fresh green notes of neroli and African marigold. As it settles, the fragrance unveils a soft and sensual heart of violet, jasmine, and cyclamen, rounded out by the warm and comforting base notes of vetiver, musk, and amber. Overall, Byredo Bal d'Afrique is a captivating and versatile fragrance that can be worn for any occasion, from a casual day out to a special evening event. The scent is long-lasting and has moderate sillage, so it won't overpower those around you. It's a great choice for those who appreciate unique and sophisticated scents

It's really interesting reading the contrasting reviews on this scent. All scents smell a bit different one everyone, but this seems to be one for which the scent profile varies drastically on different people. I, like some others, first smelled Marc Jacobs Daisy right upon the first spray on my arms and wrist. Daisy has opening notes of gardenia, violet, violet leaf, and fruits, which makes a lot of sense as to why the first spray of Mojave Ghost would be reminiscent of Daisy for many people. Gardenia and magnolia have similar scent profiles, and Mojave Ghost also has violet, and the fruitiness is there in both perfumes on first spritz. To me, Daisy is feminine and young, and keeps smelling that way. The ozonic quality stays throughout the wear. Mojave Ghost starts to smell warmer in my opinion the longer you wear it, and a bit more woody and powdery. It loses that fresh fruitiness that's there when you smell it right out of the bottle. It's unique in that it also smells a bit earthy/smokey? Imagine freshly lain mulch or a damp forest floor coupled with darkly sweet florals and sandalwaood. I wouldn't call it particularly fresh or fruity, but it's pleasant and unique and natural in a way that if someone were wearing this around me, I wouldn't even guess it was from one singular perfume. I would think it was from their floral perfume, their body soap, and their home, and maybe a lingering smell from a bonfire.I'm still trying to figure out if I like it for myself, but I definitely would find this smell pleasant on somebody else. The dry down on me smells sweet and woody and quite musky, so pretty unisex.
Cold,Abstinence, coolness,Just like the snowy forest you feel.Quiet and rational, what is introduced to the eye is the cedar loneliness. Feathered and ascended to immortality Calm and clean wood texture Sitting in a chair Listen to music and read books It's easy to calm people down. In front of you are books. In my heart is the snowy mountains and lakes. It smelled like roses last week. The middle tone is cedar. The back tone is vanilla root and musk. The whole is the fragrance of woody flowers. If you are very picky That super cedar is not that kind. A refreshing and sweet taste Absolutely suitable for you. The breath of the North White Rhett | Neutral Fragrance | Super Cedar
This perfume is absolutely very good and gorgeous. It's a soft, dry, creamy, floral that smells fresh and clean. Although it's quite long lasting on me, it is not overpowering. The scent is mesmerizing and a sure to get you compliments from both men and women. There is nothing typical about this fragrance. I own a lot of perfume, and this is by far one of the most unique scents in my collection. This past summer I reached for this one the most. However, I continue to enjoy this perfume even though the weather is much cooler now. The price point is insane, but it's a purchase I didn't regret.
This fragrance accomplishes the goal of being more than a scent — it's an experience. As a particularly active person, I prefer skin-like fragrances that work well with my chemistry. Mojave Ghost maintains its sweetness as the musky notes take the lead with longer wear. A completely inoffensive fragrance that's sure to impress in the office or draw a lover closer into you. Understated but present. And mixes well with other fragrances (I usually mix with Another 13 by Le Labo). A win for those of us who love to smell human.
I finally had a chance to head into a store (because I’m from country vic) and sample a ton of different perfumes. I generally go for floral scents, but nothing too sweet. I sampled quite a few but really liked the Mojave Ghost. I trialled it throughout the day and had to return to purchase it because I was in LOVE! I’ve only had it over a week now and have already had compliments and people asking what fragrance it is. I like that it’s floral and woody combined, it just feels so different to all the other scents out there! It lasts all day too! Thank you Byredo!
One of my husband's all-time favorite perfumes is BYREDO's Oud Immortel Eau de Parfum. For his birthday, I surprised him with a fresh bottle, and it did not disappoint. The fragrance is a perfect blend of traditional Middle Eastern scents and modern sophistication. The opening notes of oud and cardamom blend smoothly into a heart of incense and leather, and the base of patchouli and tobacco is warm and comforting. This unisex fragrance exudes luxury and elegance, perfect for special occasions or date nights. The longevity and sillage are excellent, and the scent lingers throughout the day. Overall, Oud Immortel is a stunning perfume that I highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and long-lasting scent.
