Not bad for GF. These GF biscuits would be great for anyone who needs to eat GF. They were quite nice although a little on the dry side. There were some broken biscuits in the pack and several were missing the smartie from the centre. These smarties were found loose in the bottom of the bag with the crumbs. These biscuits have a very crumbly texture. I don't think the chocolate in the biscuits added much flavour and they were very small so not really chunks like the bag says. I do like the size of these. They are smaller so perfect to have one with a cuppa between meals. I love the packaging as they look really upmarket. Made in Byron Bay, Australia. Mini crumbly snacks. Nice illustration on the packaging, easy to locate on the shelf. The price was quite affordable for a good branded snack. The title is eye catchingA vast list of "healthy ingredients", sometimes the "numbers" scare me away. It was hard to find "Australian Made", missing the green symbol. Easy to tear open the top of the packUnfortunately not all the little cookies made it out in one piece from this pack, I guess the packaging was not protective enough. Being gluten free, the taste was somewhat different, less sugar, not crunchy at all, very crumbly. The texture was soft and melted in my mouth. It might just take a bit of getting used to after having high sugar cookies most times.

Delicious as a snack but most of them were broken in the bag. Flavour - Delicious! I love that these are not too sweet. They have both chocolate chunks and chocolate drops mixed in which were perfect. Texture - They are a bit too crumbly which was disappointing because most of them were broken in the bag. But I loved the extra crunch that the chocolate drops provided. Ingredients - Contains 28% compound chocolate which is really generousPrice - $3 for a bag is a bit pricey considering they're only 100g but most GF options are a bit more dear so in comparison, it's not too bad. Serving - I had it as is and enjoyed the snack! One is definitely not enough though.. Packaging - Would have been better with a resealable seal just in case people cant finish it. They have a dry sweet chocolate taste and I found them hard to stop at one due to the small size and sweet taste. Could not tell that these were gluten free. Chocolate can be seen throughout cookie and a smartie is on top. For the price these cookies are more a premium brand. I would consider purchasing these cookies as a special treat. Thank you Bunch for the opportunity to try these. ADVICE: For those that get these take care when transporting and handling as they crumble very easily
Great cookies. These little bite-sized morsels are perfectly portioned and quite suitable for an afternoon treat or snack. They were delicious and soft, albeit a little crumbly which is what I expected as a gluten-free product. I thought that the flavour and sweetness were just right, not overwhelming at all. I wished the packet was larger as it's very hard to stop at the serving size of just 2 cookies and they don't last very long. No one in my household could tell that they were GF at all and kept coming back for more. They are an Australian made product and decently priced at $3 so I have already purchased this sample again. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, especially those who follow a GF diet.
Nice sized cookies. These cookies are soft, perfectly sweet and just melt in the mouth. I thought they were slightly crumbly but overall you can't really tell that they are GF. They are of a nice consistent size and are perfect for a quick snack or treat but I would have preferred if the packet contained more as they didn't last long in my household. The packaging is quite colourful so I found them easily on the shelf and the price was pretty good for a product such as this. It contains an extensive list of imported and local ingredients of which there is no percentage but at least they are baked in Australia. As they were a hit with the family, I would definitely buy these again and recommend them to others. We also can't wait to try the other flavours as they ... MoreNice sized cookies. Premium GF Cookie but Poor Packaging. Thank you bunch for my sample of Byron Bay Cookies Gluten Free Dotty Cookie Bites. I had trouble deciding on the star rating. These cookies are premium in flavour, deserving 5 stars, but several were broken and there were a lot of crumb pieces in the bag. (I regret putting the broken cookies underneath for my photos. )Made in Australia from local and imported ingredients. The list of ingredients is very long but my minimum expectation is for the % of local and imported ingredients to be shown. So that each of us could have two cookies I bought another bag which also had a number of broken and crumbling cookies. It is a pity they are not packaged to protect their fragility because they taste good and at $3 for a 100g bag one ... MorePremium GF Cookie but Poor Packaging. There is no direction for disposal of the bag. In view of the crumbly cookie texture, it's a shame the phrase 'Follow our crumbs' is used which otherwise would be quite witty. GF products are not necessary for our family but I would consider purchasing these for a gluten intolerant guest. Thank you bunch for the opportunity to sample and review these Byron Bay GF Cookies.
Crumbs. I hadn't seen these before so I was interested to see what they'd be like. I wasn't sure where to find them in store but my first guess in the 'health food area' of my local Woolworths store, was spot on and I actually had no trouble finding them. I opened them up for the kids and we had them as an after school treat. The bag was easy to open but I was disappointed when I went to put them on a plate that there seemed to be more crumbs than there were biscuits. I counted 6 whole biscuits and then based on the 'colourful dotty choc drops' left in the bag there were 2 biscuits that resembled little more than crumbs. The kids ate them very quickly, said they were nice but straight away asked for something more. I basically tipped the bag up to my mouth and ate ... MoreCrumbs. The kids ate them very quickly, said they were nice but straight away asked for something more. I basically tipped the bag up to my mouth and ate the crumbs that way. Even then I still needed to have a drink with them as they would have stuck to my mouth, tasting a bit too dry. These cookies are obviously targeted at people who eat a gluten free diet. My family and I don't, however I have friends who do, so I would imagine these would appealing to them and it might be something I'd consider if I knew my friends were coming for a visit. At $3 for a bag I found them to be expensive, but again I think gluten free items generally are more expensive to purchase. The best before date was also over 6 months from the date that I got them, so that's handy that they don't have to be eaten straight away. I like that it's an Australian company though, so that's definitely a bonus, however upon reading the fine print on the back it says 'Made in Australia from local and imported ingredients'. It doesn't break down the percentage of Australian and imported ingredients, but I find this disappointing and wonder why an Australian company can't make something like this using all local ingredients. Overall I wouldn't be buying these for my family again, not when there are so many other cookies and biscuits on the market to choose from, however as I said earlier, if my friends who are gluten free are coming over or if I'm going to visit them, this is something that I might consider to buy for them. Thank you Bunch for giving me the opportunity to sample this product.
Good sized treat. Found in the health aisle, next to other gluten free Byron Bay cookie varieties. The package of gluten free is whitish colour. On the other hand, the regular one is black package so that easy to identify them. The package looked resealable but wasnât. Total of 9 cookies were inside. In regards to major allergens, they include egg, milk and soy. Tree nuts, peanuts and sesame seeds may be present. Milk chocolate chunks add a good texture. While their colourful chocolate drop (in crunchy candy shell) on top is pretty, itâs too sweet and distracts from the taste. The texture of cookie is slightly crumbly and moist at the same time. Itâs not a big deal but one of my cookie didnât have a chocolate drop. Overall, theyâre a little too sweet for my liking ... MoreGood sized treat. CRUMBS! This was my first experience of a âgluten freeâ product and I was interested in finding out how different it tasted from the usual biscuits. 1. Eye catching packaging, easy to find in the Health Foods aisle2 Only 6 biscuits were still whole, the rest of the packet was just crumbs. 3 At first bite, the cookies were dry, very crumbly with not a lot of taste so I dipped one in my coffee which improved the taste of the biscuit. It was now moist and I could taste the chocolate. 4 At a cost of $3 for approx. 8 biscuits, the size of which was only slightly larger than a 20c piece, they are not cheap. Well it does say âBite sizeâ on the bag. 5 As I am fortunate not to be gluten intolerant, I wont be buying these again. However, I can imagine that people who need to ... MoreCRUMBS!
