This drink honestly was amazing, it tasted like sherbet.It gave me the energy I needed for a huge day. One of the best prework out drinks I've had, the taste is quite nice, it smells lovely and My work mates were all intrigued with the drink.I didn't get the horrible weird tingly face feeling and it didn't make me feel like I was over worked and buzz crashed like other pre workout drinks/powders.I use both the powder and the carbonated cans and will never go back to any other brands.Just bought 2 more cases and different flavours this time.

I won this product as part of a Circle K promotion.I got the strawberry watermelon. The taste was very good but after about 10 minute, I began getting a burning/ tingling in my hands and then spread. There was no rash just intense itching. I later googled it and found out it contains beta-alanine with is the cause. It lasted over an hour. My boyfriend had some of the drink and did not get the side effect.

Expired Products

Received 30 cans of Orange Slice, all of the cans were expired and not noted on the website.Response from NZ Muscle was nothing special and didn’t take into account the fact that they had sold me unusable and potentially unsafe drinks.Drank one of the cans before realising all of this, tasted strange and so looked at the bottom of the can for the manufactures use by date and realised it expired months ago.Really dissatisfied with this service - will be purchasing them elsewhere from now on

Great Alternative to Traditional Energy Drinks

I have been mixing my preworkout powder with carbonated water for a while now which has helped me get away from sugary energy drinks and when I saw these I was excited to try them. These gave me the feel of drinking an energy drink without making me feel bloated and then crashing. The energy it gave me was everything I hoped for. My only recommendation is to make sure they are very cold when drinking them. They aren'Äôt very tasty when they are warm or starting to get warm (then again everything is better when it'Äôsc old!). When I first tried the C4 Bombsicle, I was disturbed by the bright blue color. I get it - there are things like Gatorade out there, among many other similar products, that have similar off-putting colors but this seemed somehow worse. Either way, this fact is neither here nor there. It has no bearing on what the product does, how it tastes, or whether or not one should consume it.Trying the product, however, I had a similar experience. I enjoy carbonated, flavored beverages but this one didn't have much flavor, lacked the carbonation you see in similar products, and was overly sweet. It tastes like Kool-Aid where someone doubled the sugar in the recipe. It isn't a good experience.As for the energy-producing effects, I felt nothing. Solid as a Pre, Great Energy Drink Alternative!

I'm a long-time user of the original C4, so I was very curious to try out the new "Sparkling" version of my favorite pre-workout! My prime question centered around how the carbonation would affect my workout... would the bubbles prove to be distracting in any way? I've always found C4 to be the pre that's most agreeable with my stomach, never having any issues, and it would be a deal breaker for me if that didn't stay true here. I wanted to find out right off the bat, so I downed my Frozen Bombsicle in a minute or two while I was grabbing my shoes and phone, then got outside for an early-morning run. So in terms of comparing this to the already great original C4, it gave me everything I was hoping for, with no adverse affects from the added carbonation.I'm guessing this is being presented to compete more directly with the "energy drink" market than the standard pre-workout market, though. In those terms, I think with the right marketing it should do fairly well. Taste-wise, this was enjoyable and really did remind me a bomb popsicle, and also wasn't too far removed from my preferred blue raspberry C4 flavor. At zero sugar and zero calories, I really don't understand how anyone could knowingly reach for some other energy drink that is loaded up with sugar and high fructose corn syrup if given this as an alternative. I know I would definitely reach for this over any Monster or Red Bull 100% of the time!
