Ordered the Jarra but after discussing with the supplier, supplied with the merbau. The suggestion was that the jarra would turn a bit orange when used on the new pine decking. An opinion since supported. Very very happy with the merbau

The only product I will use on my merbau deck. Our deck is 26 years old & is still in very good condition, as we regularly clean & recoat the deck with the Cabots product

I put on two coats last week. Used on treated pine deck. Looks good now but getting to end of life.

Easy to apply

Being oil, it can be a mess. However it was very simple to apply and the finish is great. I would recommend using a rag instead of a brush.

Easy to apply.Did the one day thing in Spring.Prepared the surface the week before. Looks great and keeps the deck from bring slippery when wet. I used the water based product once and it didn't last, work or stay looking good. This oil worked as well as other brands of decking oil I have used but it might not have been as rich/oily...but it tried faster as the trade off.

Good decking oil

Good color though a bit more reddish brown than expected. Easy to apply, takes a few days to dry completely. Over all, it’s a good product.

This oil gave the deck a great protecting layer and solid finish. the wood looks rich and deep and repels water well. Very happy with the finish.
