I couldn't be happier with this bed base. It took me an hour to assemble on my own with a drill and looks fantastic, exactly like in the photos, much better quality than I expected for the price. It's a lovely soft pine and is really light so you can easily move it for cleaning. I love the simple design which means I can add or change headboards in future, but it looks perfect as it is. Highly recommended, especially if you like changing your decor as it suits everything. Holds the mattress really well.

Beautiful! I really love this. All wood and metal (screws) A beautiful looking piece of furniture. It takes a little effort to put together but the instructions are very simple to understand. There are simply a lot of screws.

It is a lovely bed base. Seems sturdy so far. Easy enough to put together with a drill, much quicker.For more of the edge showing like in some of the advertised pics I would recommend a king base for a queen mattress otherwise there's not as much of the edge of the base showing and I like that look. I'm happy with the purchase and will probably get a bed head to accompany in the future

First off the bed was delivered in only a few days. Package looked well taken care of.The bed itself was a breeze to put together. I did it on my own but would definitely recommend a second person and screwdriver for the slats - there are a lot of them.The bed is super sturdy and doesn't squeak which was my main worry. It's nice and high off the ground so I am able to fit 4 very large underbed storage boxes underneath.The edges don't line up exactly as I'd hoped - when I put it together I remember thinking it would be a bid deal but now that I've been using the bed, I don't even remotely notice it. I was cynical that Lifely would deliver the Cali bed base I ordered within 24-48 hours as promised, especially as I ordered it Christmas week. I was happily proven wrong and it arrived 24 hours after being ordered!The base is solid, modern looking, and easy to assemble. It is now in the room of a very grateful teenager. It looks more expensive than it was so great value.I will definitely return to Lifely when I need to purchase furniture again.

We had storage drawers underneath with the MALM and all it did was collect so much dirt/dust. Plus, if you have bedside tables you can't slide two of the drawers out anyway. We opted for the Lifely wooden bed base because of the light colour which is even nicer in person. You can purchase this bed frame elsewhere but Lifely had the best price. The frame is so light and it comes with floor protectors on the legs. You can actually slide the bed when you want to change the sheets and gain easy access to the head of the bed for the fitted sheet. ... simply put, you get what you pay for. Obviously this bed base is on the more affordable side.Easy assembly, no missing parts and looks pretty good with the mattress on it etc.Quality of the pine is not that great. While the main frame and legs are mostly good almost every piece had holes filled with putty.Also the slats are quite yellow compared to the rest of the wood.If you need a simple, yet sturdy and pretty good looking bed base, and this is your price range... go for it.
I purchased as I needed a new king single frame for my son’s bed. He is almost 14 but his room is tiny. The profile of this bed is perfect. Minimal yet sturdy. My son thinks it is great and that is what matters most. Would recommend.The price is great and the instructions easy enough for me to follow with my son.
On trend bed I love the shape and overall design. The bed is raw pine un lacquered material.There were a few nicks and dents obviously from travel but I was too excited to put it up that I didn’t worry about exchanging it.Invest in a power drill if you don’t have one already because it took me over 2 hours to put together by hand with a screwdriver lol.It was a little fiddly with all the screws but looks great once it’s all said and done.You wouldn’t want to diss assemble these sorts of beds due to all the parts.I put a special bed head behind the simple frame and it worked well.Overall Lifely was amazing to deal with special shout-out to Mark for amazing customer service!
We bought the bed based because it was entirely made of wood - there wasn't any extra metal frames. The reason being, we promptly cut the legs down by half (from 27cm high, to 13.5cm high) so that we had a lower bed suitable for our needs (better height for the toddler). Worked fantastic. There's enough extra bed that the mattress doesn't overhang, but not too much that you'll hit your shins on hidden wood under the doona overhang. Haven't caught my toes on the legs either. Cheap but quality. Yes, buy the bed.
