Amazing game. Although the multiplayer is pretty difficult for me, (I'm a noob) I enjoyed it very much. Spec Ops is a great co-operative mode to play with friends and can get intensely joyful. The campaign is the best part about this work of art. It offers relatable characters, a surprising plot, fun and unrepetitive missions and an addictive bonus level. The only parts I disliked about this game was the Rio missions and some of the crappy maps. Other than that, this is a 95% masterpiece.

Remember, no Russian. Playing out that mission was heart pounding and terrifying. I thought at the time Makarov meant don't kill any Russians but he meant don't speak Russian so you won't give away your ethnic background and WW3 could begin. The online gameplay and ability to play local made this game hands down one of the best if not the best in college. I think this is the one with the submarine base to battle at. I love Call of Duty. One of my all time favorite game franchises.

Awesome.

Awesome game. here are a number of reasons I enjoy gaming on my PC. I enjoy the versatility of modding, I like being able to upgrade my system at will, and sometimes the good ole mouse and keyboard just cant be beat. However the real reason that Ive shifted most of my gaming away from consoles and onto my desktop is the raw originality and passion present in the myriad of small independent games released every month. The freedom and self-direction granted by the relative ease of publishing on PC has resulted in some of the most original, intimate, and memorable titles Ive ever played. The Swapper, developed by the small Helsinki-based studio Facepalm Games, is a prime example of all of these things, delivering an experience that Im not going to forget anytime soon. ... MoreAwesome game. here are a number of reasons I enjoy gaming on my PC. The Swapper, developed by the small Helsinki-based studio Facepalm Games, is a prime example of all of these things, delivering an experience that Im not going to forget anytime soon. In its simplest form, The Swapper tells a story that hardly sounds revelatory or particularly unique. You are an astronaut, and its your job to figure out just what happened to cause a fully staffed space station to be almost completely wiped out. Throughout your journey youll traverse diverse environments ranging from jungle-like greenhouses, rocky mining zones, home-y crew quarters and beyond in the search for survivors, orbs to unlock doors, and answers. The beauty, however, lies in how the story is told. I absolutely love that the game never felt the need to over-explain things or shove them in my face. Subtlety is key, with the truth being revealed through a mix of occasional computer logs, infrequent dialogue, and clues in the environment. The more you pay attention, the more nuanced the games story and world become, and I wish more developers would have enough faith in their audiences intelligence to let us connect the dots ourselves. It also doesnt add any fluff to the narrative to try and add artificial length. Only clocking in at about five hours, the game can be completed in an evening or two, but by not being afraid to let the game be what it is length-wise, it maintains its wonderful tone and pacing without interruption.

Beautiful, yet saddening gameplay. Story will mess you up.

Continuing the story of Price and Soap, this one pushes your emotions in a way video game stories havent done before. Gameplay is solid, but a few campaigns took from movies which made you either roll your eyes or play along with more fervor. Whiskey Hotel floored me before I knew what Whiskey Hotel stood for in military code. This game was a masterful continuation of the best FPS of all time in COD4. Im going to miss grinding out actual achievements rather than buying loot boxes of today. I play these older games. Not BO3 or 4, not AW or IW nor that crap Ghosts... COD jumped the shark when it went too futuristic. I gave up on it after AW and didnt bother with WWII. These MW games are for players to play...not line Activisions pocketbook with micro transactions. ... MoreContinuing the story of Price and Soap, this one pushes your emotions in a way video game stories havent done before. Until then, Im playing my MW on my old 360.

Buy A Tent Too, You're Gonna Need To Set Camp

I love first person shooters. Call of duty has the same game play and probably always will. Don't expect much different from previous games. More perks which now evolve into better perks. You can choose your 3 kill streaks and even end the game with a nuke if you camp well enough and kill 25 people before dying. The biggest difference you'll notice is the mass amount of camping areas the game has to offer. If you like playing games like halo (where you can take 2 + people head on at a time with your skill at aim and strafing mixed with some variation of cleverness) You will not be using the same logic in this game. You will almost never down 2 people who are facing you with just your aim. Just expect to set up camp and hold a gun down some hallway. Otherwise, you ... MoreI love first person shooters. Pros: You get to chose your 3 kill streaks, Your perks evolve, Maps are large, CAMPAIGN IS AMAZING AND WELL DONE! Cons: CAMP CAMP CAMP, SPAWN KILLED, Addictive game with no satisfaction, Prestige doesn't get you anything and your skill isn't measured by prestiging, you just have to play a bunch. If you don't have certain perks you can easily get spotted by a UAV or shot down off spawn by any number of flying objects. Game play isn't consistent Overall, the game is fun to mess around with but can get frustrating quickly.

Don’t listen to these negative people

We’ve all keenly waited for this and we are not disappointed. Sure they are some awful maps but what game doesn’t have bad maps. The feel of the game is amazing, the graphics are beautiful and the gameplay itself is a whole new design. Just because a game crashes doesn’t mean it’s bad HAHA

Iconic. The best of its time.

Modern Warfare 2 wasn't just my first Call of Duty. It was my first FPS, first R-rated game, first multiplayer experience. I played the 'Cliffhanger' demo endlessly to perfection before finally getting myself a copy. The multiplayer has aged significantly but for it's time it was second to none! The maps remain iconic classics and many memories were made. It's a shame you'll never find a game anymore. Spec Ops was fresh and exciting! A challenge only enjoyed by a few but a fun experience for me and my mates. The campaign is what will keep you coming back. Pure adrenaline, fantastic setpieces, a story that grips you and keeps you coming back. Riding a snowmobile down a mountain, running through the streets of a heavily populated city avoiding civilians in pursuit of your target, fighting through an airplane graveyard of waring factions, skipping No Russian because you're a wholesome lad... Not to mention moments that made men and boys cry, "No more loose ends...", "History is written by the victors". "This is the message". Cheesy yet serious writing. A short masterpiece of a campaign. Modern Warfare 3 either improved or destroyed everything this game helped build (personally MW3 is my fav) but you cannot deny that THIS game is LEGENDARY! COD4 Modern Warfare may had revolutionized the first-person-shooter genre, but MW2 perfected so much of what we are still enjoying to this day. If the money hungry people at Activision were to announce a campaign only remaster, I for one would not be disappointed. Most importantly, you could play this for the first time today and it holds up like few games can.

Its a buggy mess right now. Multiplayer parties that randomly kick you back to lobby, random game crashes, map bugs so bullets and grenades hit invisible walls, you get the idea. Give this a little more time for them to iron out the bugs. Story is good though.

Ordered this for my son's birthday and and while it came cracked in the center they were quick to send out a new one to replace it Even told me to just keep the old one! Game works perfectly and as it should! I found DK. Oldies two years ago and have been using them for all my gaming needs since. Everything is cheap and comes in near perfect condition every single time. If you ever have any problems they are quick to help you and find a solution to solving the problem! You even earn points towards free stuff as you shop which i think is pretty cool! I definitely recommend them for all your gaming needs.

Worst cod ever!
14 March 2023

I’m a proper cod fan since mw in 2009. The game mechanics on this is garbage. They slowed down the pace and made it VERY passive. This game feels rigged for the casual low scoring noob. The hit registration and damage is completely off. You’ll spawn right next to the enemy. My average KD in most cods is 1.5-2.5. In this I’m 1.15 and 0.75. I’ve never struggled in ANY cod except for this. I destroyed the disc and will never buy MW2 ever again.
