There is always one big flaw in this series… that’s right you guessed it. They make a new COD game every 3 months or so. I was so looking fwd to this game, especially after COD MW2 got hacked and the hackers killed the fun! The creators just gave up on it cuz they had more COD games coming out. The two player mode to complete the missions was awesome. I loved playing with a buddy trying to beat the CPU on difficult settings. Man those Juggernauts were a PAIN to get passed. Alas, this game was also hacked in its future and abandoned by its creators. All that is left are the memories of Online play.

I bought this game knowing it would be a redux of MW2, I didn't care as I enjoyed that game. COD has always been a game that I could easily pick up and play for a few hours a couple of times a week. The good news is that this game still runs smooth as butter and has the same smooth controls. The bad news is that the new maps are all garbage (well ok not all of them, but you get the point). Its a total --to borrow a phrase from Fantastic Mr. Fox-- "Clustercuss". The maps are decently sized, but they're also cramped and claustrophobic. Way too many small alleys and corridors that eliminate the ability to get a feel for where the opposition is coming from.Any indoor/enclosed area is a death trap, apparently in the world of COD there are building laws and building ... Meanwhile the open areas are full of boxes, crates, burning cars, and yes even ANOTHER downed helicopter (really? we already played Crash twice). The turf war aspect of multiplayer is what I enjoyed about COD4 and MW2, that dynamic is sorely missing from this game, basically you run around and hope that when you come across someone you are behind them, and not the other way around. When I go to the firing range I don't go there to shoot targets four feet away, if I wanted if i wanted to that I'd go play Lasertag with a bunch of 11 year olds, which is think is actually the age demographic this game is trying to appeal to.If you are going to release what is essentially a re-do of your old game at least create some new and interesting maps.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is an epic first person shooter which redefines the way in which combat action style shooters are undertaken. From the original which came out about six years ago Activision has continued to refine this brilliant model in order to make it an effective action shooter in a way which similar games are now adopting. The heroes Soap and Price are in pretty bad shape, and the nefarious villain, Vladimir Makarov, is still missing and currently at large. You battle through various missions around the globe and use a very extensive range of weaponry during firefights. The survival mode is also a new addition and allows various players to compete against wave after wave of enemies. Or the player may decide he wants to engage in firefights in a solo type environment, which makes for a harder, more engaging combat. As you engage in mission after mission in this new survival mode, you will be presented with much harder levels as the levels progress.Where Modern Warfare 3 really shines is in the online multiplayer, where you can compete against human players which makes this shooter probably one of the most realistic type of shooting simulators ever to be constructed for any console. There are sixteen maps located in the multiplayer offering an excellent breeding ground for multiplayer combat. You also have several modes of play from street firefights, controlling particular towns from invasion, stealth infiltrations, rooftop firefights, multiplayer as well as various survival modes, battle modes, online modes. Quite an array to keep the overall entertainment flowing. Modern Warfare 3 has continued to improve on the previous titles offering better choice of weapons and upgrades, while keeping various elements from the previous titles, including Territorial Control, Bomb Planting, Snipers, Mass Killing to name but a few. In terms of graphics and overall performance this game is a continuation of this improvement and refinement.I have spent hours and hours on this game and loved every second of it and everyone I know that has played this game also enjoyed it!If you like an all action packed shooter which incredible detail, refined controls and great sound quality, then this title is worthy of a look, as it really adds to the realistic feel of what it would be like to gear up and take the leadership role in the middle of a war zone.

How can you hate the game? are you mad? iconic. more trick shots, no scopes, throwing knives, dropshots the whole lot. multiplayer is insane campaign and a trilogy of modern warefare 2 and modern warefare 1. Would recommend playing these campaigns before playing modern warefare 3 campaign. The game is so addictive and the class possibilities are endless. Yes it is a rage inducing game and a screaming game, so you have been warned but with friends you can have an amazing time playing laughing screaming and getting hyped to the point mum and dad tell you to keep it down. People have memories with this game and can tell you how fun it was running back from achool and spending time playing it. forever a game to be honoured, replayed and laugh about. This game is ... Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is an action FPS singleplayer and multiplayer game developed by Activision in 2011.Probably the best singleplayer Call Of Duty game in my opinion. Singleplayer is a finale of the Modern Warfare campaign, with a satisfying ending, and lots of awesome missions. A lot of crucial plot twists and heartbreaking moments I'm not going to spoil.Multiplayer is a bit of a downside of this game. Because this game is a bit old, the multiplayer world has been over taken by cheaters and modders, which ruin the game. But if you manage to find a lobby without cheaters, you can still enjoy the multiplayer experience pretty well. You can be overpowered with pretty much everything. And if not the kids, then surely the tryhards, that don't let you to spawn, and they instantly kill you.Overall, I rate this game 7 / 10. Awesome single player experience, but Multiplayer is in a bad shape right now. Same with almost every call of duty thats older than Advanced Warfare.
It came with everything it was supposed to, and everything was of amazing quality. The game disc worked perfectly, the box was in good condition, the little journal was perfect and super interesting (one of my favorite parts of the product), and there were lots of neat little stickers included too. The slide-on box cover was a little worn, but it still fits over the big box, and it works well if you're just displaying the box. Overall, an almost perfect product for a really great price
Awesome game. here are a number of reasons I enjoy gaming on my PC. I enjoy the versatility of modding, I like being able to upgrade my system at will, and sometimes the good ole mouse and keyboard just cant be beat. However the real reason that Ive shifted most of my gaming away from consoles and onto my desktop is the raw originality and passion present in the myriad of small independent games released every month. The freedom and self-direction granted by the relative ease of publishing on PC has resulted in some of the most original, intimate, and memorable titles Ive ever played. The Swapper, developed by the small Helsinki-based studio Facepalm Games, is a prime example of all of these things, delivering an experience that Im not going to forget anytime soon. ... In its simplest form, The Swapper tells a story that hardly sounds revelatory or particularly unique. You are an astronaut, and its your job to figure out just what happened to cause a fully staffed space station to be almost completely wiped out. Throughout your journey youll traverse diverse environments ranging from jungle-like greenhouses, rocky mining zones, home-y crew quarters and beyond in the search for survivors, orbs to unlock doors, and answers. The beauty, however, lies in how the story is told. I absolutely love that the game never felt the need to over-explain things or shove them in my face. Subtlety is key, with the truth being revealed through a mix of occasional computer logs, infrequent dialogue, and clues in the environment. The more you pay attention, the more nuanced the games story and world become, and I wish more developers would have enough faith in their audiences intelligence to let us connect the dots ourselves. It also doesnt add any fluff to the narrative to try and add artificial length. Only clocking in at about five hours, the game can be completed in an evening or two, but by not being afraid to let the game be what it is length-wise, it maintains its wonderful tone and pacing without interruption.
Continuing the story of Price and Soap, this one pushes your emotions in a way video game stories havent done before. Gameplay is solid, but a few campaigns took from movies which made you either roll your eyes or play along with more fervor. Whiskey Hotel floored me before I knew what Whiskey Hotel stood for in military code. This game was a masterful continuation of the best FPS of all time in COD4. Im going to miss grinding out actual achievements rather than buying loot boxes of today. I play these older games. Not BO3 or 4, not AW or IW nor that crap Ghosts... COD jumped the shark when it went too futuristic. I gave up on it after AW and didnt bother with WWII. These MW games are for players to play...not line Activisions pocketbook with micro transactions. ... Bought this because my wife and I like to play games together. We have no interest in online multiplayer and our PS4 does not have really any worthwhile or that many offline split screen games to play. We figured an Xbox 360 would be a good choice since it had more games we actually have an interest in and have played. Since you can play fable 2, call of duty MW3, Black ops and left 4 dead. Unfortunately while playing survival ops both times I reached rank 2 the system stopped being able to read the disc and kicked us out. I’m not 100% sure it’s the came and I’m not 100% sure it’s the system. The disc reading seems to be a technical issue but the fact that it only happens when I reach rank 2 no matter which map or how long I have been playing seems like a game issue.
Product Information Activision Blizzard's top-selling first-person shooter franchise marches on with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Players must deal with the fallout from the devastating attacks on U.S. and British soil in a storyline that picks up where 2009's Modern Warfare 2 left off. The single-player campaign has you battling Russian ultranationalists, led by Vladimir Markov, as members of the U.S. Delta Force and British SAS. You'll battle across war-torn areas of New York City, London, Paris, Mogadishu, Dubai, and other regions as you prepare to end the global threat once and for all. As with previous entries in the Call of Duty series, Modern Warfare 3's campaign features a heavily scripted, cinematic experience with Hollywood-style special effects. One new mission, for example, has you involved in underwater travel with a sonar-equipped submersible watercraft. You'll then fight inside an enemy-controlled submarine before guiding an inflatable raft across turbulent waters while a naval battle rages nearby. Other sequences have you firing mounted guns, driving vehicles, and more while explosions light up the landscape. Returning to the game is the cooperative Spec Ops mode that features a series of standalone missions on different maps. New to Spec Ops is a survival option that has you and either a friend or a computer partner battling waves of enemy forces. Shooting down enemies earns you cash, which can be used to purchase new perks, items, weapons, and other upgrades. You'll also be able to earn bonuses by working together as a team and maintaining kill streaks. The heart of the game is once again the 18-player online component, which introduces all-new maps and a variety of enhancements to the format introduced in Modern Warfare 2. Popular features such as kill-streak awards, experience points, weapons-based achievements, and perks return, allowing you to customize your character as you progress. An optional subscription service entitled "Call of Duty Elite" will allow players to track detailed statistics such as win-loss records, kill-death ratios, time played, most successful maps, favorite weapons, and much more
