I added the BB 3 Club w/Fubuki 65 shaft (Regular) to complement my BB Driver and Apex irons (w/the Recoil shafts). I set it to -1 degree (i.e., 14 deg.) Neutral. The weighting and balance are perfect. I can hit this club as far as my old driver. I hit a perfect 210 yard approach shot that stopped on the green. Narrow fairways are not as threatening. Every Callaway club in my bag gives me more distance and accuracy. I'm not getting any younger and I can assure others that I have not had some miraculous resurgence of playing prowess - it's the clubs, not me. For a long time I did not carry a 3 wood because my hybrids satisfied the distance gaps, but I'm glad I added this club. It's very easy to hit off the deck or off the tee, as needed. I have played about 5 different fairway woods in the past year and a half, and this one will finally make me stick with it for a while! The Big Bertha is extremely forgiving, particularly off the toe and low on the face. I am accustomed to these misses causing a screaming hook and a massive loss of distance (respectively), but with this club they are extremely playable. The club is also absurdly long for my swing - in the standard 15* configuration, I hit a drive that rolled out to over 240 yards UPHILL. That is just crazy for a guy who only swings driver about 100 mph!If there are any knocks, they are that the club has quite a long stock shaft, which could reduce accuracy somewhat for certain players (for me it has not proven an issue thus far), and that the feel ... MoreI have played about 5 different fairway woods in the past year and a half, and this one will finally make me stick with it for a while! I actually quite like the feel, as it makes me feel like the ball really has some energy - plus, it is accompanied by one of the best sounds for a fairway wood I've ever heard. Also, the club has more of a fade bias in stock configuration - this is very good for me as I tend to hook the ball, but for someone who has trouble with slices the could be problematic. The adjustability should save you here though. All in all an excellent club! Highly recommended for most all swings. If you have trouble elevating the ball though, the Big Bertha V Series may be a better choice, as it launches the ball a little higher in it's stock configuration.

Best 3 wood I have ever owned, was playing a Taylormade RBZ, this Big Bertha beats it hands down. The best thing is you can adjust it from 14 degrees to 17 degrees to suit your flight if needed, also draw or standard setting if your feeling a little fade or slice oriented that day. The best thing is the distance, 10 to 15 yards farther than the Taylormade RBZ. And I really like its shallow face, seems to hit it off the turf so much better, never did see why some 3 woods have faces like drivers.

I couldn't find a 3 wood that fit my eye since I had sold my Ping Anser several years ago. I've played with my new Bertha 3 wood for about a month and am simply killing it. Was 240 out the other day and hit a laser on the green. Was estatic and highly recommend this club. Working with Callaway Golf preowned is always easy, fast, and honest. My last encounter was with Dan and he was very professional and knowledgeable. Try this club, you won't be sorry!!!
This is my third BB wood; driver, 5 wood, and 7 wood! I have the driver and all woods setup for draw and increase the driver degree from 9 to 10! I have the 5 wood setup as a 4 wood! The 7 wood is setup as a 6 wood! The BB work better for high handicaps with more loft. Great woods with flexibility to change setup to conform with differing conditions!
This club replaced the last non-Callaway club in my bag - an old Titleist 3 wood that performed well for years. With the same shaft as my BB Alpha, I was immediately comfortable with the feel of the swing. Trajectory is perfect with a great sound off the face and a wind piercing ball flight. Already taking consistent aim at par 5's I never reached before. Swinging smooth and letting the club do the work is the way to go. Shaping seems to be easier too when trying to maneuver shorter dog leg par 4's. Only regret is not getting this club in my bag sooner.
I've tried all my old fairway woods a dozen times. Even my old favorites just weren't satisfying me any more. I took a chance and ordered this fusion sight unseen, swing unswung. I LOVE IT! It has such a great feel! I know where the club head is all the time. I get more distance and lots more accuracy than I ever did with the Warbirds, Steelhead IIIs, Diablos or the Xhot2s. I am sold. Will be ordering the rest of this set of fairway woods and will even try the driver as a switch from my Xhot2. I think my handicap will be dropping again!
I purchased the Big Bertha thee and seven wood to go along itwith my Big Bertha Five wood. The ability to adjust the loft by three degrees allows anyone to dial in the distance wanted for each club, These clubs are easy to hit and have excellent carry distance.I have dialed the three wood back to fourteen degrees and cancan obtain almost the same distance as my Big Bertha driver. These are excellent clubs, long and accurate.
Well the terms above are all relative. Lol.So for me at my limited skill level, the ball goes in the general direction I intend, so for me it's very accurate. It feels awesome hitting the sweet spot, but then again all clubs feel awesome when hit perfect.Longer than my previous 15 year old woods. But that's to be expected. These are awesome clubs. I hope yall have the same experience.
I bought the pre-owned 3 and 5 woods. Both clubs were better condition than I expected and were received very quickly. I love these golf clubs. Both are very to hit. The 3 wood in particular goes longer than any 3 wood I've ever had. Trust me, I've owned a lot of clubs and these 2 clubs were a great investment. I love the pre-owned program because it doesn't put you in the poor house for something you may or may not like. It has put the fun back into the game.
