The original X-Spann's compression fit was a great concept and I absolutely loved that glove. The 2019 model ruined everything that was good about the original iteration and the quality was just not there. Fast forward to 2022 and as I had hoped the 3rd gen X-Spann has been released. For the most part I am pleased, the compression fit is back without the silly strap and the glove appears to be of good quality although I have not had a chance to beat it up in some really hot weather. The only downside for me is the topside of the glove as it doesn't have that great look or material that the original used but if it functions well I can over look the cosmetic shortcoming of the product.

Like so many others, I agree that the latest version with the adjustable closure is not an improvement on the original design that had no velcro. I purchased the previous design yearly. I looked forward to it. It was such a great glove in so many ways: no closure, easy-on/easy-off, perfect snug fit, overall design and performance. All excellent.This new version is not an upgrade. It shouldn't even be considered the same model. It's negatively different from the old version in every way that made the original great. I'm also not a fan of the vent holes on the palm side. Immediately after trying it on, the difference was clear. Returned immediately. Please bring back the previous design! I miss it already.

So I absolutely love the fit and feel of this glove. It's fantastic and fits my hand perfectly. The problem is it wears out WAY too fast. I've been through 3 of these since November and that honestly wouldn't be a problem if it weren't so expensive. It's by far the most comfortable glove I've ever worn but that comfort only lasts as long as the leather portion does. The leather is so thin that it stretches easily and just becomes horrible to wear. And God forbid you sweat or get that leather damp in any way; it'll just stretch and wear out faster. If they sold these in a 3-pack for $20, then it would be worth it.What sucks now is I have to find another glove that fits my weird hands and will last. I did not know that Callaway changed the design of this glove. I have been buying it for the past several years. I wish they would have kept the velcro feature to open up the top part of the glove. It was much easier to take off and put on.
I will be honest. I bought these gloves not for golfing but for my daily drive. My car has suede steering wheel and shifter knob and rather than leaving my hands sweat I decided to purchase these through callaway/golf.com. I went to Dicks but they only have left hands so I wanted to buy the pair and I love these gloves, the fit is perfect, the material is exceptional and they hold true size after brake in. I bought an extra pairs and I will continue to buy these gloves. Look and feel are just awesome and they feel like a second layer of skin.
I absolutely LOVE this glove. I have always been between a Cadet ML and Large Glove.Never found the right fit, after using lots of different brands. After two rounds, this held up great, and the feel while playing was amazing. I will be using this glove from now on!
This glove doesn't live up to its predecessor. The old version# 5313415 was a much better glove. I've read a lot of the reviews on the new glove and many are asking for the old version saying it was a better glove. I'm on my last glove of the old version and am not sure I'd buy the new version again. Customers like what they like. Bring the old version back before we all find another glove to buy.
I am allergic to metal, so I can't use gloves with the built-in ball marker. Now, as I have gotten older, I have developed an enlarged vein on the back of my hand. Gloves with the velcro closing now bother me. This one is perfect for me. I slips on easily, and there are no parts that bother my hand.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this glove, loved it when it first came out and then they re-engineered it and added a strap, which ruined the glove, but Callaway listened to its customers and brought back the original design. Why mess with perfection? I found they had brought back the old design so I ordered 5, this next spring if it hasn’t changed I’m ordering a dozen so if someday they change it I will have gloves to hold me over until they listen to customers again and bring back the original.
