This newer version is impressive. Non-stick properties have not let me down. I like the more upright sides because it keeps the contents inside the pan better, especially when stirring. Washes up easily as well. This pan has not disappointed at all. I store them by placing a potholder in-between each pan to avoid any potential damage. Also keeps down on the noise of getting pans out of the cabinet, which my husband appreciates.I did have an issue with the first one where the Teflon came off in a small circle, smaller than a pencil eraser. I contacted Calphalon and was told to discard the pan and a replacement was delivered just a few days later. Great warranty and customer service.

Best pans I’ve owned. The non-stick is amazing and even with eggs I haven’t needed butter or a cooking spray to keep them from sticking while cooking. I have used these for several weeks with everything from chicken breast, to burgers and stir-fry and they are amazing. I have not tested the durability because I use silicone or plastic utensils. Too afraid to use metal as the pans claim is ok just out of caution. These cook evenly and look amazing as well.

My wife uses these frypans regularly - in fact it’s the only two pans she will use and reaches for them over other premium brands hanging on our rack (Le Creuset and All-Clad). She prefers the performance of these pans over the others.I considered taking off a star is because eventually these pans do start to lose their coating. It’s inherent in non stick pans… it happens to them all eventually with use. However, I’m staying at 5 stars because we have never had an issue getting these replaced under the lifetime warranty. I think we are on our third replacement, but in fairness it’s been about TWENTY YEARS!
