I mean it’s a calcium supplement. Calcium by nature does not taste great. It’s chalky and takes a lot or room to get the right amount, which is why you don’t see much in multivitamins. Alas, I’m lactose intolerant so I need more calcium. These chewables taste fairly good, have the right ingredients, and are more fun for me to have than a pill. So if you need calcium supplements these are a pretty solid choice.

I was taking Caltrate Plus. One at night after a meal, as per instructions. I have been unable to sleep well and do feel tired during the day. I am generally full of energy every day and this has come as a surprise to me. I believe there is nothing in those tablets that can cause tiredness, but nothing has changed lifestyle wise for me apart from the minute I commenced the tablets, I have had problems sleeping. I have investigated everything associated with not being able to sleep well and this is the very first time in my life I have had this problem.

I love Caltrate. It is the most comprehensive product as far as a D3 and calcium combo. Due to hormonal imbalances,y vitamin levels are pretty wonk. When my Dr told me to include D she didn't specify what D. After some trial and error, this combo pill was finally what worked! I take 2 in the morning with B12 and my levels have stabilized quite well.

I Recently had to switch to these because the chewables have been unavailable. I would sure like to see the chewables come back but these are a acceptable alternative. I have had good luck with the ingredients In Caltrate for years and do not want to switch brands unless they discontinue this or make it unaffordable. As the supply decreases the prices are ridiculous.

Great combination of minerals!

I love this. I’ve always had a tendency to get low calcium, because I’m lactose intolerant, and I’m avoiding casein.I immediately notice when I am low on calcium, because I get leg and foot cramps. I also get restless muscles in bed at night when I’m low on calcium. I’m much more relaxed when I have enough calcium in my body.I find that this combination of vitamins and minerals works best for me. I believe that this composition does help absorption, because that has been my experience personally in my own body.I was a bit concerned at first, when they raised in the vitamin D content from 400 mg to 800 mg. I was afraid that I was going to be getting too much vitamin D. My fears turned out to be unwarranted. My doctor measured my blood vitamin D levels and they ... MoreI love this. Not enough magnesium in this pill

I use Anthem Healthy Benefits to get vitamins--this was the only choice for calcium. One is suppose to have half of the calcium mg in magnesium in a vitamin pill. therefore if the calcium is 600mg, there should be 300 mg of magnesium in the vitamin, but this one only has 50 mg of Magnesium. I had to get another bottle of 250 mg magnesium, because I could not get one in one pill. I do wish Healthy Benefits had this choice available. Thank you.
