The size happened to be just right, the material is tough and has an open weave that lets rainwater through. Tent pegs through the side eyelets and into holes on the timber capping on the sand pit support the sides of the cover. The cover is rolled up from one end when the sand pit is in use.

Disappointed with this product. Used light weight aluminium eyelites for the peg holes and two were damaged and fell out after one use. Would not recommend this product.

Second Camec ground mat I have purchased, excellent item. Very soft under your feet, even though its a light grey colour its easy to clean and neutral , strong and durable/easy to fold/pack but not heavy or large for packing or added weight concerns, not slippery like some I have had in the past, small breathable mesh material, grass wont grow through on longer stays, highly recommend.
Impressed with this mat. It settled nicely on the ground on the first use, didn't collect too much dirt or grit, and folded back into the carry bag easily. Good value.
Really love it. Cleans well, sweeps well! Love the grey colour, the size is good for our 18ft Jayco journey, which covers from front to back of the caravan. The width is perfect! Has good amount of eyelets to peg into the ground. Has done well from lake to beach.
I was disappointed with the quality of finish of this matting. On opening the packaging a couple of days ago - a corner eyelet fell off. When I laid out the matting - the material has obvious defects in manufacture with weaving not being as it should be in regular intervals plus there seemed to be a fault in the weaving that ran in a continuous line through the 6 metre length.
I can't compare against anything else, but we used it this summer on a gravely dusty stoney camp site next to a beach and while some small stones found their way onto the mat which were too big to fall through, I didn't notice any sandy dirt stay on top of the mat and while some dust and grit found it's way into the van it was nowhere near as bad as last year which was at a grassy site next to the beach and I was forever sweeping out the van.
It's oh so light to carry and easy to clean after a downpour and muddy site! Purchased the largest size and very happy and another grey nomad friend is going to purchase two smaller ones ... they have a long van too. Love the bound edge and many eyelets. Perfect!!
This mat is regarded as one of the best available - light and tough. The Supercheap price was significiently cheaper than any alternative. Quick no fuss delivery, not much more you can ask for beyond that.
