We are extremely happy with our Camec caravan cover for our 20ft van. The special price was cheaper than what we could pay direct with Camec with free delivery. The sizing is great for our van with the extra length covering our gas bottles and hitch as well! Materials are excellent quality. Easy to put on - gets easier each time. Would definitely recommend the product and service from Caravan RV Camping.

I found the ordering of the product very straight forward and the cover was delivered in the time frame advised. The cover arrived well packaged and in good condition. When the cover was fitted to the caravan it fitted perfectly with the door opening in exactly the correct place. Also all other hold- down straps anchored the cover well, even in moderate winds. The cover fitted nicely over the caravan and could be adjusted to eliminate any bagging of the cover. In summary the cover appears to be very well made and hopefully will wear well, a good choice of cover. I have used several other brands of premium covers but this appears to be the best.

The cover looks great and does the job very well at protecting my RV, only used for 4 days as the RV is now being fitted out at fitters workshop.Unfortunately the first time I put it on I followed the instructions to the letter and unzipped the zips before pulling over the roof and pulled over with the tie down cords as suggested, the cover ripped horizontally near the top of the first zip by about 10cms. The bus is a smoother line than the caravan in the picture so do not understand how this happened. A real shame and we were gentle. It must have got a bit stuck against the roof but there are no projections just smooth paint, a real shame. Not sure if I should return it for a replacement?

Arrived quickly.Good value for money.Fits well, it is a bit loose at one end due to our van being In between fitting size.Had on for a few weeks now in all weather and happy so far.Spacing of the zippers, make entry to van easy with cover on.
Cover did well through the wet season in Darwin, happy with that but when we took it off I quickly discovered the straps that were in the sun had deteriorated so bad they crumbled upon the slightest touch.. made if terrible material that will not last in UV. Took it back to BCF who swapped it over but know within a year I'll have the exact same problem so you'll only really get a couple years from it strap wise. Be very careful with the material itself, tears easily if it gets caught on something so is delicate but does the job otherwise
We brought this cover 6 weeks ago and we are impressed. Its fitted to our 2013 jayco outback expanda and fits nicely. We are located on the south coast NSW and have just had a good east coast low with over 200mm of rain in 48hrs along with 100km winds. I uncovered the van on the next clear day and the cover had definatly done it's job. Handy zipper access to side door which means no taking off if you just need to quickly do something in van. Awesome breather vents on sides which I noticed flaps the roof in the wind and get rid of any sitting water and also vents to dry van when weather clears up. Only rated 4 cause it's only been 6 weeks but so far awesome van cover.
Bought this cover 6 months ago in Darwin and have had it in all wet season until yesterday. It's light and completely water proof, which is great. Only minimal mould on the van exterior which was easily washed off. Though, the black straps that were facing the sun were so deteriorated they broke off and I could tear it with my hands, which means they're not UV treated like Camec says. Returned it and store says it's the first they've had come back so possibly I got a bad one (?)
Bought this a few days ago and decided to put the cover on today. Made sure no sharp edges on the van and placed plastic cover covers on the corners of the solar panels as I had spare ones from my portable solar panels. As per instructions I threw the cord over the roof and on a ladder I begin to pul the cover over ensuring it didn’t snag. All was good until my called wife called out out that there was a hole in it. I ago around to the other side and there is a slit in the cover 275mm long and 400mm up from the bottom edge in a part that had only been on the ground. The slit is also very clean like it has been caused by a box cutter and runs horizontal.I sized my cover as per Camec instructions so as to include the spare wheel as well but excluding the storage ... The slit is also very clean like it has been caused by a box cutter and runs horizontal.I sized my cover as per Camec instructions so as to include the spare wheel as well but excluding the storage boxes at the front which meant in theory the cover would be 100mm longer. In practice this didn’t work out as I could of chosen the next size down and it would have been a nice neat fit.Obviously BCF are not to blame in this instance.
Was surprisingly easy to fit but does need two people, minimum. May get better with more practice. Fits well and does exactly what it is meant to do. The bonus for me is, although the roof is fully covered it does not impede the solar panels and batteries are still continuously being charged, as required.
It appears tough enough to survive its 3 yr warranty. The cover had sagged between a/c unit and hatches which resulted in a little trapped swimming pool after a heavy rain, which proves its excellent water resistance (I have since placed a box under that area so there are no low points to cause pooling).Zippers, webbing, buckles, velcro are all quite sturdy. The straps which cross under the van have plenty of length and are simply thrown to the other side so there's no crawling under the van to reach and join them.A few extra heavy duty eyelets are available, so that's an extra tick.Note: Definitely get up on the roof and tape/cover the sharp corners and sharp edges of items or up high on the sides, as the cover will snag as it is drawn across the roof. Place a largish object on the roof between various fittings (hatch, A/C, solarpanels, etc.) to prevent low areas which allow the cover to sag and pool in rain.It is much easier to install with 2 people, one using the ladder to get the cover up onto the roof and guide it along one side, and the other person on the ground to support and pull the cover as necessary.
