A water bottle with potential

I have only had the chance to use this water bottle once while biking so I can't comment about its insulation ability. But the bottle has a good feel in the hand. The idea of an extra locking mechanism so it doesn't leak is good. However, it is very tight and when I try to loosen the locking mechanism it also loosens the top from the bottle. I am hoping the locking mechanism loosens up with time, so that is why I knocked it down one star.

Great water bottle! Keeps liquids

Great water bottle! Keeps liquids cold. Easy to clean. Easy to squirt into your mouth. Does not leak. Looks stylish too! I highly recommend!

I bought 2 of the

I bought 2 of the Podium Chill 25 oz bike bottles. One will be used as a second water bottle on my bike (I already had another one on the bike) and one will be my work water bottle. They keep my water fresh and I love all the different colors. They very sturdy and last a long time. I like how easy it us to drink while riding.

I have other steel bottles,

I have other steel bottles, not Camelbak, that keep cold and ice doesn’t melt quickly despite the heat. This steel Camelbak does not keep the fluid cold and the ice melts quickly. I used both my new Camelbak and my non-Camelbak steel bottle on a long bike ride. My knock-off stayed cold whereas the Camelbak heated up. Disappointing.

Original Podium, much improved

I use this water bottle every day, all day. When I am not on my bicycle I have it in easy reach to keep hydrated. I’ve done this for years. I bought a pair of the Podium Chills to replace aging 1st gen Podiums. The upgrades are sweet. The bottles are very slightly narrower and better fit the cages and car cup holders. Water flow is improved when a gulp is desired. Cleaning is easier. The insulation keeps the cold in a few more minutes. Recommended!

Quality

I bought two of these bottles having had one for a long time and being really pleased with it. I gifted one to my grandson for a water bottle for school. Theo one I gave him doesn't seal when you put it into the lock position. This is disappointing as I really liked the product and they are not cheap.

Comparing this 21 fluid ounce variant to the 24 ounce variant. The do hold different volumes, and this one forgoes those 3 ounces of thermal insulation in favor of water capacity. In testing water from the same starting temperature on the same day, the 21oz unit kept the liquid appreciably colder than the 24oz variant; the 24oz's water had equilibrated to ambient temperature after about 2hr cycling outdoors (~20°C, mildly sunny), while the 21oz's water remained cool.As the 21oz variant, this one fits well within my Specialized water bottle cage, securely but also easy to remove from the correct angle. Tested this very thoroughly

Don't get me wrong l hands down love this bottle, l would trade any another water bottle l own for this one. Though there's one problem l have had with this bottle. It's not big it's just a pet peeve.When you take a sip and put it down it makes this weird noise that can carry on for several minutes, and sometimes it does it randomly very annoying.

This is a decent water

This is a decent water bottle that fits well into my bike cage. It does not leak or spray. Unfortunately, it does not squirt out a lot of water when you squeeze it which is what I don't like about it. When I'm cycling on a hot day, I want to DRINK water, not sip it. It's very frustrating! Other than that, it's a solid water bottle
