The system is super easy to install and takes no previous knowledge of wifi camera set ups The only (and very minor) issue is that the power cords are only 1mtr long. I purchased separate cords to go from the cameras to a PowerPoint and they work fine. The set up of the NVR system was easy to figure out and the app works on my phone. I have the NVR set to my tv via hdmi and the picture is good. Night vision is good however a slight red glow can be seen in the camera lens in the dark. Definitely worth the spend and I happy with the product quality. Time will tell if the system can handle the weather.

Requires a bit of technical knowledge to setup, and DIY skills to install, but the feature set for the price is incredible, and the quality of the cameras both night and especially day is excellent. The UI might be a bit basic but all the options you need are available and it works fine as long as you follow the instructions in the manual. Phone app is great, only thing missing is saving the recordings to the cloud. You won't find a better value for money NVR than this one for the features and quality, well worth the basic UI and having to configure it yourself. I will be buying an extra 2 cameras separately now since I got the 6x system not the 8x system but the control unit supports 8 anyway, that is how happy I am with the product.

The video is great, excellent range at night. Reasonably easy setup, but only the cameras are wireless, for the internet it must connect via Ethernet cable. I have them on my garage which is not attached to the house, so I had to buy a wireless router for them to connect to my internet. Lan to the router. Very happy with them.

Yes true plug and play so easy to set it up once the cameras are fitted to the building. I have yet to personalise the settings - motion recording, naming cameras etc. but I am confident this will be as easy as getting the unit and cameras installed. However WARNING please note - on page 8 of the 9 pages in super small font it is advised that there is no hard drive included. That is why I only give it 3 stars.
2 of the cameras leaked in the rain but the vendor did replace. If you wrap a bit of plastic tape or apply some silicone to the gap it should be fine. Once dried out the cameras still worked. The WiFi links are really not strong enough to pass thru brick or floors. its really only line of sight. and suitable for smaller properties. big houses or offices probably look for a wired system. ALL of these type of systems are very similar and the software for motion detection works very well but the instructions leave a bit to be desired . I think there are videos on YouTube that are very helpful.
Easy to install - just need power where you wish to have the cameras. Phone app is great and very useful. If you have a hard drive it can record all of the cameras for later viewing - this was helpful when there was a recent attempted break in.
Bought these and had high hopes after reading the reviews but am very disappointed. Camera quality is awful, constant freezing or just won’t load at all (note: we actually have great internet connection so it’s nothing to do with that). Basically, if we ever needed them for any reason, say if our house got broken into, we’d have no chance of making out a face or number plate.You can’t fast forward the playback either so unless you want to watch hours of footage, you won’t find what you’re looking for.Overall, not worth the money at all and have now replaced with cheaper yet somehow better cameras.
Excellent product ! Easy to setup, no configuration required, true PLUG & PLAY ! Added 7inch monitor to view live streaming, as NO HDD was required. Video quality is top quality. Excellent investment.
This was purchased to replace a previous wireless CCTV system that ceased functioning. Purchased the model the came without a HDD and spent a few hours trying to get this working. After googling an answer it turns out the power supply for the unit is not sufficient to drive the HDD, and once I increased this to a 1.5 amp power supply it worked beautifully.The image quality is good, and the wireless powerful enough to record pictures through several brick walls over ~50m.The downloadable app allows remote access to the vision which works well.Overall a nice product once the power issues are resolved.
Cameras image are ok, no microphone and impossible to tilt remotely though. The software around the cameras is horendous and poorly translated! Most of the menus are impossible to understand because of the translation. Apparently, the website works exclusively on IE and I'm not even talking about the design and the translation (help menu not working, most of the button from the menu disabled...). Anyway, I couldn't get it working even with Windows. So impossible to set the system from the internet, you have to plug a screen and a mouse to the box to set on and off the alerts (very annoying if you want to set the alert before leaving the house).
