Excellent old fashioned practical unit. as an oven. Unlike most camp ovens the lid makes an excellent frypan without compromising use of embers on top use
Bought for baking bread at home, as a camp oven it makes great artisan loaves and as a frypan makes great pizzas and focaccias.
Great accompaniment for any outdoor camping kits you may have or great for the home as well, cuts cooking time down to a minimum which is great for saving on gas or as said at home electricity depending what you cook on. Flavour is clean to the palette, just make sure you clean well after every meal for maximum consistency of flavour. Salt, oil and a little elbow grease does quite well and don’t forget to re oil. Go out and get yourself one you won’t be disappointed.
What a great concept, a saucepan, a frypan and a Dutch oven all in one. I seasoned it before my first use and it performed wonderfully.
This little croc pot is also 2 different pans. The steel is good quality and it's compact and versatile. Holds heat really well.
Almost the perfect size for what you need camping. not too big and not too small. I love that the pan doubles as lid of the pot. small things like this make life camping and the decision to purchase that much more easier. The quality sticks out too and can be compared easily with "higher" esteemed brands. Buy this if you are looking for Kitchen essentials. You cannot go wrong.
What can any one say. Easy to use and very sturdy. As with all cast iron a bit heavy for single hand use. Be carefully to use clothes to reduce chances of burning as the hole pot/ pan get hot
