Cancer Council Face Day Wear Moisturiser Matte Invisible SPF50+ - 75ml

Cancer Council Face Day Wear Moisturiser Matte SPF50 Invisible is an ultra lightweight, hydrating sunscreen lotion with very high UV protection to help prevent the visible signs of ageing. It is formulated with aloe vera and vitamin E to moisturise the skin. This sunscreen provides a lightweight, easy-to-apply finish with a matte effect. It is fragrance and paraben free, making it suitable for sensitive skin. Dermatologically tested, it is a great option for women and men who want to protect their skin from the sun. Apply to dry, clean skin and rub in 20 minutes before heading outside. On an average sized adult, approximately 35mL should be applied, which is equivalent to 1 teaspoon of sunscreen to each arm, leg, front of body, back of body and face (including neck and ears). Apply sunscreen to remaining exposed areas of skin. Avoid prolonged sun exposure and never rely on sunscreen alone, nor to extend your family's time in the sun.

This is the one! If you’re looking for a face sunscreen that isn’t greasy, won’t break you out and doesn’t leave a white cast over your face you’ve found it. I have naturally sensitive and oily skin and this sunscreen has been my holy grail, it goes perfectly under makeup doesn’t, doesn’t run/drip into your eyes causing them to sting. Get it and try and you won’t go back to anything else

This is the best sunscreen I have ever used. I have tried so many sunscreens and this takes the cake. It's perfect for my normal to oily skin. While it dries to a matte like finish, my skin doesn't look flat. It's such a smooth finish and non irritating formula.

I've tried almost 40-50 sunscreens in the last 4 years. Ranging from inexpensive to imported ones from Japan and Korea, I've tried so many. But none of them have worked this well on my oily skin and to think it was good old Cancer Council one that I just looked past all these years! It says matte finish, but does not feel drying. On my oily skin, it leaves a healthy, moisturised feeling. The face and body variant is just the same formula I believe and is the only body sunscreen that doesn't leave a sticky, tacky feeling. Never jumping ship from this one.

I love this sunscreen as it is designed for the face making it very lightweight and easy to layer under daily makeup etc. It doesn't feel too greasy and has a matte finish. I do not get a white mask from it either.

Didn't work for me unfortunately
27 November 2021

I really wanted to like this sunscreen as I've seen many great reviews and it is so affordable but unfortunately it didn't work for my skin. Note: I have combination oily skin that is quite easily irritated. Pros: -Nice texture that applies well and definitely lives up to its mattifying claims. Was slightly tacky/heavy after reapplication throughout the day but this is quite normal for me with my oiler skin. Overall however, the texture performed well and wasn't too shiny. Cons: -Unfortunately irritated my skin after using for a few days making it unusable for me. I developed burning and redness on my cheeks. I suspect it may be the combination of sunscreen filters. This was the only product I had introduced into a very stable skincare routine so I am very sure it ... MoreI really wanted to like this sunscreen as I've seen many great reviews and it is so affordable but unfortunately it didn't work for my skin. This was the only product I had introduced into a very stable skincare routine so I am very sure it was the culprit behind the irritation. -A bit disappointed to still see the more traditional, older sunscreen filters used in this product when there are so many newer ones available in Australia now that can offer great protection and work better with sensitive skin. -Burned my eyes which was not immediately noticeable but I could definitely feel a gritty discomfort in the eyes towards the afternoon that I would never otherwise feel. Overall I think it's best to try this for yourself. If your skin is on the oilier side and not easily irritated you may like this. But I recommend patch testing first (especially if you have highly reactive skin) and be careful around the eyes.

Effective sunscreen
24 May 2022

This sunscreen contains a hint of a tint, which helped it to leave very minimal white cast. It dries matte and I actually find it works well as a base layer for makeup (there’s no pilling, I apply foundation after rubbing the sunscreen in and it seems to help the foundation glide and settle better) - but your results may vary!

Great sunscreen for sunny days!

I really love this sunscreen. Spreads easily, leaves no white cast on my medium skin. Doesn’t make my skin becomes more oily (I have combination skin).

Light, moisture texture that I wanted
7 November 2019

My skin is so dry but I don't like to have oily finish/turning white after other sunscreen. So I wanted to try this. I have been using this product more than 2 weeks. I am happy with this so far. Almost nil residues so I can put foundation on top of this. Happy to buy this again.

Literally the best sunscreen ever!
12 November 2020

This is my favourite sunscreen that I have ever bought for the harsh Australian sun - it is light weight, absorbs quickly, leaves no white cast and is a super hydrating and protective formula. I used to strongly dislike sunscreens but this has changed my mind and is now an essential part of my skin care routine. Also glad that profits assist the Cancer Council!

Most popular sunscreen only option is small bottle
22 August 2022

Quick dry time, it’s also not a runny product that runs down your skin when you slap a bit in your skin unlike the CC active sunscreen. Leaves a matte finish as advertised, doesn’t stain my dark coloured shirts. This is their most reviewed sunscreen but they still don’t have it in larger bottles, that’s unfortunate in many ways so that’s why I’m taking a few stars off.
