This is an older model but have not failed me in terms of quality of pictures, easy to use, lightweight and perfect for my small hands. The buttons are in the perfect spot and that makes it so easy to use and handle for photography. This is an amazing SLR camera that I enjoy using in traveling, taking photos off my kids and family. Highly recommend Canon for quality of optics and quality of the camera!

I just absolutely love this - I have been able to learn so much, and have a great time with it. Couple of things that I have had to get over it: a. the speed for fast moving objects - 7.5 fps is not enough b. the writing speed of the SD card - The Extream-Pro UHS-I helped - it doesn't support UHS-II c. the multi-point focus / autofocus can be hard to use and can make you miss fast action shots, or low lighting shots d. not being a 1 for 1 from what you see on the viewfinder to what the actual picture - you have to compensate the stock lens is good enough - but if you really want to unleash its fullest potential investing in a better lens is paramount

A Great Step Up for Video Work

I bought the 90D to step up my vlogging image quality when I travel abroad. I'm impressed with the fit and finish of the camera. If you like the heft of a DSLR, the 90D will not disappoint. It's very weighty and has a solid build feel. Having said that, you might want to run and gun with your cell phone or smaller camera. It's a lot to carry around and this unit is better suited for studio or outside video work and weddings with a tripod. With a dummy battery power set up, this is great! The accompanying kit lens is no slouch. It's big and beefy and will produce outstanding imagery. With adapters, you can use you vintage wide angle lens in manual to get great footage too. Canon 70d. Professional features plus fully auto.

This is an amazing camera, which although is a few years old, is still taking professional photos. If you are just getting into DSLR then buying a like new preowned camera, with a very low shutter count is the way to go. You can save yourself two thirds the cost of the latest models, and if you dont take too it, you havent lost a fortune. Get a couple of appropriate books on the model, take your time and you will be snapping away like a professional in no time.

EOS 90d

This is a substantial upgrade coming from my old T2i. Lots of great features such as focus bracketing, time lapse movie, interval timer, raw processing in camera, creative filters (my favorite: grainy b/w), in camera electronic level, in camera HDR, and more.It has considerably less noise than my T2i at high iso (I'm not sure why, maybe because of the age of the T2i's sensor? or possibly because the T2i has a higher shot count?)The 18-135mm usm auto focus is much better than the old 18-55mm stm. It does have some vignetting at 135mm.If you buy a used one like I did you might get a gray market camera (which they don't tell you), something to consider.

Excellent and Reasonably Priced Deep Sky Astrophotography Alternative

Was looking for something more versatile than a dedicated astrophotography lens/telescope, but no one makes a similar lens as this Cannon with an E mount for Sony and anything close was exceedingly expensive. Found this lens and using a Metabones adapter, the lens works very well with my full frame Sony camera. Images are sharp and the lens is faster than dedicated telescope lenses. Not a deal breaker by any means, but wish it had an external aperture ring. This lens can be used in fully automatic (aperture and focus) or manual mode. Manual aperture is done using the camera controls and focus with the focus ring. Image stabilization is impressive. For the past four years, I have used a Canon EOS 80D, mainly for shooting action shots of sports, football, baseball, soccer and softball. I have also used of of family events. A week before leaving on a trip to my granddaughter's graduation, it developed a major problem with the shutter. Not enough to send it in for repair, I selected the EOS 90D with the 18-135mm Lens from B&H. This was a perfect replacement for my EOS 80D, as I can use all the lenses I already have, plus I now the 18-135 lens to add to the collection. Shipping was quick and the camera and lens arrived within 3 days of placing my order and the best part, in time for our trip, which we leave in two days. My father used Canon cameras, both print and digital for many many years. When he passed, I got his Canon 40D, I later got the 80D, so it was only natural to get the 90D when I needed a replacement for the 80D, ease of use, plus being able to use all the existing lenses I already have was a big plus. This camera feels great in my hands. Grip is perfect for me as I have big hands. The focusing is lighting quick. I have been using a 60D for years. Thousands of images with the 60D. I finally had the funds and some future work to justify getting the 90D. I love how many focus points it has. It's easy to navigate the menus. Images look great! I like all the controls that are on the body of the camera. I'm not a big fan of having to go through menus to adjust things like ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperture, Exposure compensation, etc. The 90D has plenty of real buttons to work with. I have not used this camera for video as of yet. I have several video cameras I use for work. My focus...no pun intended, is stills. The only reason I did not give a 5 is I was hoping to have face/eye tracking in the optical viewfinder. Unless I am missing something, It's only with live view.
