For beginners and enthusiasts wanting to explore the world of DSLR photography without being overwhelmed due to hard to understand settings, Canon introduces the 850D. Inside this exciting camera is a 24MP APS-C sensor and Digic 8 processor, which clearly sets it apart from basic entry-level models. It is capable of sublime still image quality, as well as 4K video recording. The Canon EOS 850D features a 45-point all cross-type AF system which is both speedy and accurate. Suitable for all situations, whether you need to capture the moment in still or moving image, the Canon EOS 850D features a fully-articulating touchscreen as well as an optical viewfinder. You will find the right avenue to compose any piece of work. A 3.5mm input is available for attaching an external microphone to improve the audio quality of your movies, which is great news for modern content creators. The last thing you want is to wait to show off your high-quality results with your friends and family and with the 850D, you won't need to, as it features built-in WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. You can connect to Canon's camera connect App to share to your desired destination, as well as control the camera remotely for premium selfie results.

First off, the camera is the camera. Solid camera and I would give it 5 stars for its price point. It's the accessories that bring this down for me. I think it's important to consider that most places have this same camera and 1 lens for the same price as this entire kit ($480), so the accessories were practically free. Even so, I think it's important to know what you're getting. Each accessory is cheap. I could not imagine paying more than a few dollars for each thing, bag included. But, if this is your first DSLR camera or you have a student that is taking photography for the first time, this is a good buy that is enough to help learn about extra accessories, how they function and interact with the camera, and the potential of what DSLRs have to offer. I purchased this new camera for myself and gave my previous one to my wife as she has recently started photography. She had no previous photographic experience but she easily learnt how to use the 750D and has taken some great pictures with it. The controls and functions are easy to use with helpful hints on the LCD touch screen if you need them. The positioning and layout of the buttons etc is well thought out and everything falls easily to hand without the need to keep looking at the camera to see where the controls are. The positioning and layout of the buttons etc is well thought out and everything falls easily to hand without the need to keep looking at the camera to see where the controls are. There are a lot of settings and menus on this camera but don't be put off by these, once you get over the fear of switching into manual mode it really is remarkably easy to use. The camera has some very nice features, I especially like the LCD touch screen which rotates and folds flat against the camera body when not in use. Once the screen is released from the body it can be rotated and tilted, very useful when taking a picture upwards at an angle as you can tilt the screen so you can see the shot without looking through the view finder. Being a fully fledged digital camerathe lens is removable, Canon offer a nice range of reasonably priced lens options for this camera, the L series professional range of lens also fit the 750D so there should be a suitable lens for all situations and budgets. The 750D also comes with Wi-Fi which is useful if you want to put pictures strait onto social media etc, you simply link the camera to your phone and transfer them across. The 750D is relatively light and not uncomfortable to carry for long periods, although if you use a large lens (I use a L series 100-400 mm telephoto zoom on mine on a regular basis) it can be quite heavy to carry around. Battery life is very good with the camera going into standby mode after 30 seconds if no buttons or controls are used. I always carry a spare charged battery with me but haven't had to use it so far. The 750D is a great all rounder with a good specs at a reasonably low price. I have been very happy with mine and recommend it very highly.

Do not recommend buying from here.

I bought a Canon camera bundle. Charged the camera, installed the card and battery as the directions said. My camera would not turn on. I tried to register the camera with Canon and the serial number would not register with Canon. After speaking to Canon directly, they said there was something wrong with the internal part of the camera if a system reboot wouldn't turn it on. The only good news is that I was able to return to the local Walmart and send back for my refund.

Pros: The camera is fully automatic. Just point and shoot.Cons: Didn’t receive memory stick. Curry’s didn’t have one in stock Camera is no use without one. Bought one from Amazon, delivered next day. Also no USB cable. Had to purchase one myself. I thought that having paid a substantial sum for camera better after sales would have been expected.

Good Entry Level DSLR Camera

I purchased the Canon camera to update from a point and shoot digital camera that served me for over ten years. After reading and watching YouTube videos, I decided to upgrade to this camera. Overall I am pleased with the purchase, but you must make up your mind to learn to shoot in the manual mode. Using the auto-mode strictly and depending on the camera, I felt the images were not as beautiful as my old point and shoot camera. Since leaving the auto-mode and using manual mode plus learning to set the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO correctly, I have noticed a difference for the better. So buy the camera if learning interests you, and if not, you are better off with a point and shoot camera. Another item is that the video quality is not the best, but again I did not buy it so much to shoot video. I own a 4k camcorder that serves that purpose. Other notable items to mention about the camera are the battery life is spectacular. In the three weeks of ownership and taking over 100 photos and five-minutes of video, recharge only once needed to be done. The on-off switch is helpful for a modern high-tech electronic device and only needs pushed forward to turn on and pulled back to turn off. There is no irritating power button like all cell phones, tablets, and other new items thatrequire holding the button for a few seconds to be ready to use. Another great feature of the camera is being able to shoot RAW images, which opens up a massive amount of photography opportunities. If all the above interests you, the Canon camera will serve your needs.

Pros: The Canon EOS2000D is reasonably light for a DSLR, the bulk of the weight coming from the lens. Build quality of the body is good, with a metal lens locking ring rather than plastic. Grip placement good, although large hands might struggle to find it comfortable. Functions were very easily learnt, so I was up and running with the various settings quickly. Excellent quality photos in automatic mode along with the settings for portraits, landscapes, macro and sports. It coped well with low light conditions and the camera’s decision when to pop the flash works well; this can be turned off if you do not want the flash to fire. Video was particularly good, although expect to have a large amount of your SD card used! Creative auto setting is brilliant, with the ability to tweak the depth of field easily for stunning effect. The camera also has manual modes for those who like to tweak their settings to the nth degree. LCD screen is of a decent size although suffers, like all screens, from total washout in bright sun. Viewfinder is much easier to use, focal points light up when locked onto the subject and there is a fast response from the camera when the shutter button is pressed. I love the wireless function; photos were transferred to my phone without a hitch. There is the option to purchase other lenses for those who are deep into the photographic art, and this camera has the ability and flexibility to get you started on this path.Cons: As stated, the LCD screen will suffer, like all screens, from bright sunlight but the viewfinder is an excellent alternative and my personal preference. Some people might prefer the options on screen to be touch enabled rather than selection through the buttons, but in my experience touch screen selection is not always that accurate. Because of its size, the camera is not bag friendly but that’s a trade off between being able to take excellent photographs or quick snaps from a phone or a pocket camera.

Pros: Canon product, so excellent durability. Really good image quality for an APS-C Canon "crop" camera.Best dlsr camera for price range.Very good battery life. Very easy to transfer photo to phone or devices wirelessly.Cons: No image stabilisation on the camera which isn’t great when recording on the move, although you can purchase lenses with image stabilisation. There are better products at this price for video recording but not for photography.
