I had to replace my old Canon inkjet with this one because it cost more to replace the ink head than buy new. Disappointing that inkjet printers are made like this but the print quality is great, duplex and ink saving options. Delivery was fast and well packaged.

We are very happy with this printer. Easy to setup and get printing. Automated duplex printing and scanning is fantastic especially at the price point we purchased it at. We have had a Canon printer of some sort for the last 10 years and have always had a great experience with them. This one has been working well for the last month or more.
Have owned this printer model for 2 months. Prints well.... a bit fiddly to setup wireless printing. The Canon machines are ready to print quickly after turning on without the banging and clunking made by Epson and other brands.Build quality is not wonderful with plastic parts feeling thin, and easily breakable. Handle with care!
Was really happy with this printer until the sheet feeder started to malfunction. It does not recognise the A4 setting on the paper tray no matter how hard I try or reinstall the software. Both tray feeder and rear end paper feeder DO NOT work. Into the bin it goes!!
This is the 2nd Canon printer I have bought because of issues with the sheet feeder. I thought buying a more expensive model would mean it had a function that actually worked. I was wrong. Is it too much to ask for a printer with a sheet feeder to actually work!
Paper jams constantly. The paper tray won't hold more than half what it can fit so you are always adding paper. Chews ink as well.
This was a replacement for a brother printer that I had been happy with. The quality of this is not anywhere near as good as that or previous Canon printers. The print tray and feeders are very limited and flimsy. Ink seems to run out quickly for low print runs. I will have to upscale in future.
