Once I'd phoned Canon and installed the canon app to set up the printer for wifi from my phone, it was plain sailing. So easy to print documents from my phone! Best printer I've had. The staff at Noel Leeming Masterton were great too. The original printer that had been sent from Auckland was faulty, so they immediately exchanged that printer for this one & set up the printer with ink for me before I left the store, so I didn't have that worry.

I scanned a document into my PC, but the copy is what we use to get over 25 years ago. Now it has stopped feeding paper into the machine.DON'T BUY.

This is my second Cannon printer since 2010, both are easy to use & have great features, my next printer will be a Cannon printer.
The whole "you get what you paid" line? Well then I gotta say, I'm doing ok. Bought this bad boy for less than a $100, like over 2 years a go, and it's still chugging along. Sure it's not as whizz bang smart or as fast or have all the functions that some of the newer one do. But my lord, it prints, it copies, it scans. All the wonderful things that its supposed to do...
Of course, I didn't expect a wizard machine, at the low cost of it. However, I am not happy with this printer at all. The installation instructions are not at all user-friendly, and it is very slow to print.
I have had my printer for a couple of years. It is absolutely fabulous. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to print their own photos. Ii has true to life colours and clarity is phenomenal. I would have added a photo only my son has borrowed it.
I HAVE OWNED A CANON MX420 FOR OVER 10YEARS. LOVE IT ,NEVER GIVEN ME A PROBLEM. WE PURCHASED ANOTHER COMPUTER AND NEEDED A PRINTER OF COURSE I WANTED ANOTHER CANON. THANKS EASY TO USE. VERY RELIABLETHANKS GRACE
It is really good! Apart from having to connect to the printer as wifi which is a little odd to me, and the fact that I can’t print it from my laptop as it requires a further set up, but the printer itself works fine.
