I took a long while to settle on this printer to replace an old Brother multi-function and have not been disappointed. It does all I needed and wanted it to do - duplex A4 printing, scanning, printing diagrams on A3, various arts and craft printing on magnets, thicker paper, photo paper, fit in with the style of a home study, and so on. It's been an excellent balance of features, cost, speed, style, on-going costs.

I bought this last weekend as my other printer broke after 7 years (not a Canon, other brand sadly got v poor reviews). Instore service was excellent. I chose the Canon as it got really good reviews and it has lived up to those reviews. Very easy set up thankfully and good quality printing, including colour photos. Would like more paper capacity, but not a huge problem. Otherwise first week in, really great and would recommend.

I bought this 8 months ago and left a positive review. After using this printer for these past months, I am going to stop using it and purchase a different printer. The main issue is the amount of toner we are going through. We have a small amount of school printing and more university level printing. I don't think we are excessive with our printing as the old HP only needed toner replaced two times a year. We have purchased four Canon toner sets this semester alone. The lower purchase prices does not account for the cost of toner and the related environmental impacts.

I purchased this printer to get me through WFH during Covid lockdowns, it did the job, has an easy app and wireless print function, but a few years on, I've had to keep replacing the ink well before the claimed "1451 page yield". I wouldn't print more than 100 pages in draft mode before having to replace the ink. It prints well enough, A3 was handy, but chews through so much ink that I've realised it will be better value for me to invest in another specialist printer brand.
A great all round printer, scanner and copier. It seems to go through a fair bit of ink, but I'm still on the first lot that came with the bundle (so can't really complain). Prints nicely on plain paper and photo paper, haven't tried it yet on thicker card or envelopes, but I imagine they are fine too. It does everything I need it to and more. Saves power by turning off when not in use, but that means if you're air printing from out of the room it's in, you need to go to the actual printer and turn it back on, which kind of defeats the purpose (not too much hassle though really). I haven't managed to get it to scan to my MacBook from the actual printer buttons yet, but I think that's just a set up thing.Pros: Saves power, easy to set up, software seems intuitive, ... MoreA great all round printer, scanner and copier. My wife is a skilled crafter and was looking for a printer aimed at crafters. We have a new Brother A3 printer but it's some distance from her craft room and doesn't quite do what she wants, particularly printing on heavy stock. Hence the Canon. It is proving to be a great crafter printer, producing high-quality prints. This not only a crafter's printer. It would be excellent for general printing. The only minor downside (which we knew before purchase and accepted) is that it's not an ink tank printer.
My first printer wouldn't accept the replacement Canon ink after around 5 months so was replaced under warranty. Now 2 years later will only scan 1/2 document on platen glass thoiugh does scan through doucment feeder. Neither Canon nor repair company can find reason. Persevered as like features but as from yesterday decided it isn't recognized by computer. Reinstalled but won't print full photo and has taken 24 hours+ to print much needed document. Very disappointed as not cheap printer.
Great printer for its price. I initially wanted a different Canon pixma printer which was much more pricier but couldn't get it so thought I'd try this printer for now and then eventually get the other one. I honestly expected it to be basic with not so good print quality but i was pleasantly surprised when i used it to print onto envelopes and 400gsm paper.it's great to have as a home printer.
It's a great printer that I got on sale. I mainly print photos for family and create cards. I use ILFORD fine art paper or Red River Paper and the quality is amazing. It also prints great with Canon Glossy paper. I've used the Easy Photo Print Editor software a few times to make quick collages. However, it's highly disappointing that Canon has no printer driver for Mac so there is no possibility to select paper types on Mac such as glossy or matte. I got in touch with their customer support centre and they clearly don't care. You might look for a profile to download to use on specific photo paper but some might not work with the TS9565... The only other option would be to get a Windows laptop as Canon has a driver for this system.
The printer does exactly what I need it to do. It prints on cardstock, and the print looks really good! I'm able to use the prints for cards and other crafts which is all I need from it! Really happy with the product, and is definitely an upgrade from my last printer (without having to fork over 1000$). My sister has used the printer to print out her digital sketches onto A3 paper to then paint in traditionally, and she's happy with the outcome. I haven't tried printing on 12x12 paper yet (I think it should be able to?). Overall, love the printer and so far, no complaints!
