I got bought this camera several years ago because I wanted a nice camera to capture our family memories. I’ve been able to take so many great pictures with it. The battery lasts a long time between charges. I love being able to change out the lenses to what I need at the time. My 10’year old daughter loves being able to take pictures with this camera, too.

I have owned this camera for a year now and I absolutely love it. I have not learned how to use most of its many advanced features but that is my fault. They are there but hey, I'm lazy and I can simply set this camera to auto and point and shoot and get amazing results. The video captures with this camera are HD with stunning quality. The kit comes with two lens. The 18-55mm IS (image stabilization) is a great kit lens, kit meaning basic and I don't think anyone would be disappointed with it. IS helps steady slight camera movement and is helpful with my sometimes shaky hands. The 75-300mm lens is not IS and IS is even more useful in this telephoto lens. I later purchased a Canon 55- 250mm IS lens for $150 and I am much more pleased with it. You will have to shop ... MoreI have owned this camera for a year now and I absolutely love it. Most ask $300 for that lens but I got mine at BandH.com for $150.Be wary of buying the bundle packs that offer camera bags, tripods, lens filters etc. These are usually of low quality and can be purchased as you see fit with better quality and at a better price. The additions I did purchase with this kit were the Canon deluxe gadget bag 100eg. A perfect fit for this camera and a very high quality bag for $25. I also added a Photive LP-E8 battery for $15. Equal to a Canon original battery but cheaper. The battery life for this camera is outstanding but you always want an extra on hand.I'm no pro but that's my two cents. You won't find a better camera at this price.

After having just received my Canon EOS Rebel T5 I am totally impressed!! This is my first DSLR camera and I am enjoying it completely. The price for the camera and 2 lenses (18-55mm, and a 75-300mm) was an absolute steal I got the camera, 2 lenses and camera bag for less than I saw the camera alone on most sites!! The camera has a host of options and modes that I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring and testing. The pictures are crisp and the level of definition allows for doing so much with the pictures that I am still learning effects that I never believed possible. The learning curve is amazing as I feel my photography skills have doubled in just one week. I plan on decorating the walls of my house with the pictures I have taken in my local area. Canon Rebel T3i Camera 18MP---Complex but simple too.
7 March 2018

The Canon Rebel T3i camera is an excellent DSLR camera. It is complex while being easy to navigate through the various menu items. It helps to have an operators manual (if you do not have one they can be downloaded online) I have tried it with four different Canon EF lenses (Two IS and two non IS) in different modes as well as a Tamron Adaptall lens and a Nikon non-AI lens with adapters in manual focus mode. The auto focus feature is great. It is easy to focus in manual mode either through the viewfinder or in live view mode. The ease of connecting this camera to a computer and transfering images is a nice feature. You can then use different photo editing programs with the images, which can be either in jpeg or raw format. I highly recommend the Canon Rebel DSLR series of cameras, although I have used Nikon products for years.

Canon T3i Bundle

I bought this is a starter set for my daughter. When we opened it, we were delighted to see the complete package. The camera looks almost new and wrapped beautifully! In fact, the whole ensemble is super cute and inspiring. One can tell the sunny camera co really cares about their product and presentation!

Great condition camera
24 May 2024

Overall the camera arrived in great condition and matched the description of what the 'type' of condition on the site. Worth the premium to ensure it works wellsWould love to see more detail on the descriptions of the cameras in the store pages itself. I had to do a lot of research to find out which ones were full manual, which ones needed a battery to function, etc. Having that in one spot would be helpful on the next purchase!

I really do love this camera. The issue comes with the fact that I ordered the “very good” condition, and got a less than I was expecting. The leather detailing is coming up in multiple spots, and is stained. There are a few scratches and chips as well. I'm sure I can repair it, I was just hoping to avoid doing so by spending that little bit of extra money.

Very Pleased!
19 May 2024

Wow, I have been looking for a good company to buy cameras from. When I stumbled upon Sunny Camera co I was a little hesitant. But I decided to give it a try and ordered the T3i. When it came in the mail I was greeted with the cutest packaging. And then the camera, I could not be any happier. The camera looks beautiful, it works amazingly. Please do not hesitate if you are thinking about buying a camera from here! You won’t be disappointed!

[Rewarded Review] Great camera for this non-pro
24 October 2016

I bought this camera a few years ago when I was in the market for something a step up from my Kodak point & shoot camera. I am by no means a professional photographer, but wanted the opportunity to start learning more and take better photos. At that time, I debated between this one and a Nikon camera. I ended up choosing this one because of the rotating LCD screen. In the past, I had found myself in situations where I needed to hold my camera up high, above a crowd for example, but had to shoot without seeing what it was actually pointed at. It happened enough that the rotating screen was the deciding factor in my purchase. And to this day, that feature alone has been priceless. The camera has performed great. With the addition of a remote shutter release, I recently began trying my hand at astrophotography. I haven't taken any award winning photos so far, but for me, they've been great. The only downside to owning/using a DSLR such as this one as opposed to a point & shoot or cell phone camera is having to carry an extra lens if you want more zoom. It isn't always convenient and sometimes it's hard to decide if you want to carry a telephoto lens or not. Other than that, it's been a great camera.

[Rewarded Review] Totally Recommend It, Hands-Down
12 August 2014

I would highly recommend this camera to anyone who is making the leap from point-and-shoot to DSLR photography. This is no longer the newest camera in the Rebel series, so it might not have the latest and greatest features, but it is beyond adequate for a beginner DSLR photographer's needs, and is therefore an excellent value! With the T3i, there's a nice stepping-stone learning curve. You can decide whether you'd like the camera to do all the work, or whether you'd like to shoot manually, or anything in between. The instructions are very clearly written and easy to understand, so you can quickly learn and advance into the more "pro" features. You can decide whether you'd like the camera to do all the work, or whether you'd like to shoot manually, or anything in between. The instructions are very clearly written and easy to understand, so you can quickly learn and advance into the more "pro" features. Since this camera has been around a while, you can also find other books and resources that explain how to use it. I found the camera very easy to figure out, even without reading everything in the manual ahead of time. Once you understand the functions of all the buttons, you can very quickly and easily manipulate the settings -- it is easy to make fast changes while hardly looking at what you are pressing.Photo quality is great. It's not a multi-thousand dollar piece of equipment, so of course you're going to be sacrificing some image quality over a high-end professional camera. But for the average person this is going to be plenty good enough, worlds away from a cheap point-and-shoot or a cameraphone. I can fill my giant iMac screen with these photos and be blown away at the quality. I have really surprised myself with several "WOW" images. The image size is large enough that it leaves you plenty of room for cropping. This camera, despite being more towards the "entry-level" side, is highly expandable and something you can "grow into" by purchasing additional lenses and accessories. Another way you can "grow into" this camera is by shooting RAW images and learning about that whole process. The camera has the option to shoot a RAW image and a JPEG at the same time, if you prefer, which is a nice feature if you're not ready to make a full jump to RAW.As far as I'm concerned, battery life is excellent - though the book warns of shortened battery life with live view / video shooting and use of flash, of course. I have not taken this camera on a multi-day adventure yet, but I have had no problem shooting over 300 photos without the battery indicator moving toward the "charge soon" indication.I compared this to a large lineup of Canon DSLRs online and in-store. Although I'm of the female/smaller-hands target market of that lighter-weight, smaller-sized Canon Rebel SL1, I found the SL1 to fit awkwardly in my right hand, as if I would drop it. Plus, my thumb rested upon (and pushed) a button. Your mileage may vary. This was actually a dealbreaker for me that sent me back in the T3i/T5i direction. The SL1 and some of the other Canon models also do not have a swivel LCD like the T3i. I like how the T3i's swivel LCD flips around for storage, to prevent damage. The swivel function has already come in handy when I had to reach over a wire fence. When comparing the T3i to the T5i, the reason I went with the T3i was the lower price and not feeling like I needed the next step up yet.
