I bought these for my boyfriend specifically because they are the same brand as the pair he already has. I got the size Large because that's what size his other pair is and I wanted to make sure they fit. Unfortunately, he says they're a little snug. I would size up!

It does have the stretchy sides and stretchy crotch area, but the rest of the material on the shorts is very tough and unmoving and still doesn't allow for the best leg movement. Because of this they still feel small, despite getting a size bigger than I normally wear clothing. Might fit smaller people better, but big forwards might not care for these as much
I bought these shorts to play pickleball. I purchased a size too large. Didn't think it was worth a return but decided to go with it. They sent a return label, no charge and shipped the new smaller size out as soon as the post office scanned it. The new shorts were here the next day. Talk about great service!

Purchased as Christmas present. Grandson a rugby player so that is why. Products looks great, hopefully size is right.
The white rugby shorts were made of much thinner material than I'd hoped/expected. Now have to worry what I'm wearing underneath them..! Don't feel particularly like "rugby" shorts. They are have no side or back poskets - just an annoying small inside pocket. The blue rugby shorts are much better.
Something has changed at Canterbury. I’ve had 4 pairs of these shorts over the years, and i always got the same size (XL). I currently have 2 pair of XL and they fit great.These shorts, however, are very tight in the thigh area. My older pairs have stretch throughout (think stretching when getting into scrum position), but these are rigid down the side of the leg. Ultimately i had to size up.
made me feel fat. also made me realize ive got fat thighs. I need to lose weight like yesterday. good material though. the sizing sucks. the shipping was really fast though. great service!
