Have just purchased one of these and the product is absolute garbage. The screws are of such low quality three of the heads snapped off despite pre-drilling the holes. The centre support system and cam lock doesn’t lock the rail in whatsoever. Now have 15 holes in the wall and a useless curtain system for $100

the plastic sliders sit sit and slide directly on top of the metal groove. The more the curtain is used, the more the metal cuts into the plastic, the harder the curtain needs to be pulled. My son ended up bending all of the hooks and pulling his curtain off the rail.It lasted 12 months compared to the 30 year old track it replaced.

Reasonably easy to install. Supporting brackets not easy to fit and have failed a couple of times

Poor quality euro screw fixings for a start, why not Phillips head?Next, adjustable mounts have a screw head exposed, so they won’t sit flush inside a window cavity unless you do what I did and slide it out until the screw sits in the rebate of the architrave.Next problem, once it’s up there on our 3100 window, it’s so flimsy it needs a centre support. Not a problem though, it comes with 3 of them. Excellent! Not really though, the centre supports have such a small area to grab hold of the rail, that any sort of lateral movement of the rail or weight pulling down the way, like, I don’t know, maybe the weight of a curtain, pops the bloody rail straight out!Give this product a wide berth, read the same reviews above mine citing the same issues. After returning the first rail as it had been bent and was no longer working we installed the replacement. The hand drawn cord works only when there is no weight of the curtains added. Once the curtains were added they could not been drawn evenly as the weight was too much for the track (curtains were standard pinch pleat block out curtains). The quality is poor and there is too much flex in the metal and plastic due to the poor construction. I would not call these 'heavy duty'. We had to return the product, now have holes drilled into the brick work and will contact a better quality company to purchase a replacement. Spotlight were helpful on the phone when discussing returning the items but in store were resistant. Would not recommend.
As everybody else has stated - poor design, and made with cheap thin plastic that eventually deteriorates with use. The track bends over time as well making it almost impossible to draw the curtains back and forth
I bought the pull across version a week ago to replace a cord pull track broken after 15 years. It continually caught on where the extension is and did not run smoothly at all. We actually could not pull across one curtain at all.
Bought this yesterday, attempted to install today. Firstly, terrible euro screws that stripped easily. Secondly, support brackets were designed to hold a 1-2mm curved lip on the actual track. Which results in the support bracket not holding onto the curtain track at all, constantly slipping off.
We bought a 63-144cm short one. The middle support didn't come in the package. We to thought it was missing. After 2 month we contacted, Spotlight found out it's not included for the short one, the middle support doesn't need it.But our track was always bending, never straight. In the end, we had to buy a middle support to keep it straight.
I bought two of the 114-205cm ones for windows 130 and 190cm wide. The 190cm one can't hold the weight of the curtains, which are unlined cotton/linen fabric and only 130cm drop (i.e. definitely not heavy). The central support is meant to hold the track up by a tiny groove about 1mm deep and of course it slips out as soon as any weight is applied. "Heavy duty" on the packaging is a joke. I'm glad I got them on sale but even so I will be returning them.
