My mum actually used this to make pasta rather than the usual 00 and said it was good. She's was born Italian so I have to assume she knows what she is doing. A good quality brand at reasonable cost which I have been unable to find anywhere. The seller needs to consider delivery charges because it appears to be the same cost whether you only buy 1 or 10 items.

Essential for making pizza so that your base doesn't stick to the peel when launching into the oven, be liberal with the flour it'll be your best friend unless you're aming for the recovery calzone!Great product overall.

I prefer the Organic Caputo

I prefer the Organic Caputo Semolina flour but had to settle for this one because they don't carry. However, this flour is good, did not affect my gluten allergy or intolerance much. It's very soft texture which makes it a bit harder to handle, if your not gentle rolling out the pasta it will break easily, unlike the organic or thicker grain Semolina. It's still a great product and taste great!!

I purchased the Caputo Semola
18 July 2022

I purchased the Caputo Semola flour through Ooni after reading poor reviews for other distributors, other than Ooni. The issues with other reviewers included partially open flour package, bugs, and short shelf life. My order arrived intact, no bugs, and with a decent shelf life. The flour is high quality. I mix it 50:50 with all-purpose flour to sprinkle on surfaces to prevent my pizza dough from sticking. It works really well!

I use this product when making home made pasta with my Philip Advance Pasta maker. The semola is finely ground which help produce a light pasta.T he product was wrapped well and shipped quickly at a fair price. I would commend purchasing this product from again .

Italian bread yum!

Previously purchased this flour from the local Italian deli. Great to see it on Ocado. Looking forward to making yummy Italian bread with crunchy crust and all the airy holes!

The absolute best for launching
3 August 2022

When I was extremally ignorant to Pizza cooking(currently just very ignorant) I would use corn meal to launch. It worked, but always burnt on the stone and caused a huge mess. This stuff is amazing. Minimal residue, no noticeable burning and simply works fantastic.

The good old stuff!
8 December 2022

Have really enjoyed baking and cooking with it. It has done well in both types of recipes and has a rich, satisfying taste. As someone who avoids gluten and wheat flour in the US, this flour gives me no issues.

We started with ordinary bread
4 August 2023

We started with ordinary bread making flour but this makes a difference in terms of getting the pizza launched into the oven. It seems almost frictionless. Haven’t used it to make dough yet, we’re still on the Ooni dough balls, but that’s our next step up.

semolina flour
1 July 2022

Been buying pizza dough balls from our local Winco store for convenience and used the semolina as a dusting during working and on the peel. Works much better than the flour/corn meal combo I was using. really easy launches and much less mess in the oven. Can't wait to use it with my 00' homemade dough
