For the first time, Michelin is introducing the "GREEN X" marking in the sports segment. The GREEN X marking on the tyre sidewall underlines the environmental friendliness of the MICHELIN Pilot Sport 3 - because it helps to reduce fuel consumption and thus reduces CO2 emissions.

Great performing tyre for the Clio 172 Cup. Read various reviews from online forums etc before selecting these. They give you you confidence in all road conditions. Responsive when cornering and nice feedback through the steering wheel at all times. Faultless in my opinion.

Good summer tires- poor fuel efficiency

Got these tires as part of the Ford Focus Titanium edition. The first thing that I noticed is the noise with those tires. The noise has subsided after ~5000 miles. I had my first low pressure warning after a brief rain storm in CA. Had to put some air in it, but it is almost impossible to find reference table for proper psi for hotter climates. I have the feeling that those tires are the reasons that my gas milage sucks. I am driving totally defensive and almost to the point that I push the car and still the fuel consumption is at >32mpg. FOR A 2014 CAR!!!

Great overall tire
10 August 2013

While this may not be the very best tire in all dry conditions, for real-world driving in dry, wet, light snow, and rutted road conditions, this is one fast tire that performs well in all conditions. For my daily driver, a M-B C32 AMG, I have not found any other tire that performs as well in varied road conditions. I highly recommend this tire to all non-track performance drivers who expect great performance from their car and tires.

Grips the road like StoneColdSteveAustin
8 August 2013

These tires look great on my 18" rims and have the ability to hold to the road tightly and securely in sharp turns. I'm in a warmer climate and they seem to do very well here in the South. Although I'm a fairly conservative driver, I'm not sure if these tire will have great wear rate. I think I will get 25,000 miles (maybe 30 if lucky) out of them. But these are sport tires intended for sportier cars and do the job well when called upon.

Mind blowing grip on wet and dry!
1 December 2012

Bought it to replace my old ContinentalPremiumContact 2. Was a decent tyre, but it was already at 70% thread life, decided to change. Friend recommended me PS3 as he knows how much i love spirited driving. Put it on, i could already feel the difference. Noise reduction was minimal, but still acceptable. But the best part was the grip. I'd say the grip on these tyres are phenomenal. Usually when i push my car to its limit, i'd know when not to push further as the tyres are screeching/understeering/ etc. But this tyre had remove all that, i now have to discover again how much i can push further, which means, the grip didnt fail me as pposed to other tyres i've used before (bridgestone and continental). I know drive with confidence in both wet and dry. Comfort is ... MoreBought it to replace my old ContinentalPremiumContact 2. The only downside i'd say is its a little pricey, but hey, you should never compromise safety!.. apart from that tyre noise is ok, but i've experience other tyres which are more quiet..Longetivity, cant say as i just bought it. Overall, this is THE tyre you want if you drive spiritedly. Cant say much on track as this would be my daily car.

The Very Best Tires Every
13 August 2013

These tires are for sporty hard driving winding roads. They grip the road and make my car run like a slot car of my youth. The confidence I feel when entering a curve is alone worth the price. My home is in the mountains so extreme curves are like my daily driveway. My trade is always between performance and milage. I choose the former and once you experience the ride you will too. Looking for a downside is difficult but they do seem to be wearing rather quickly. Can't wait to get my next set.

These tires rock!

Amazing grip on the road. i drive a high performance car and have most of my life, I'm accustomed to low tread life. That's the nature of the beast when you drive an animal that requires a strong grip on the road. Some complain about the low tread life but I'm completely satisfied with this product.

Too early to tell
14 August 2013

Since I've only had my car with these tires for less than 6 months, it's really too soon to tell much about the tires. This is my daily driver and my commute is about a 1/2 hour each way to and from work. I did go on a road trip with the car and was pleased with the mileage, which the tires may have somethig to do with. My only wish is that they were all-season instead of 'summer' tires. Also, I wish they'd stand up to 2" drywall screws a bit better, but luckily I know a technician that fixed the flat.
