I switched from the standard run flat Contis to Michelin PS5. The car is quieter, they've completely stopped the scary tramlining over white lines and overbanding.Turn in is faster and far more precise, the first few drives I was nearly running up the kerbs. I haven't felt any lateral movement on these tyres at all, wet or dry. No oversteer, nothing. Just a quiet, smooth, grippy feel. Fantasic.

I've covered less than 1000 km on these tyres to date, so can't comment on their durability, but in every other way they are excellent. Road noise in particular is very low in comparison to the half-worn OEM Bridgestone Potenza these replaced on my Škoda Octavia VRS. Nor have I really pushed the tyres yet, but under everyday driving conditions, both wet and dry, they feel very confidence-inspiring.

They have great grip as expected from Michelin tyres. These replaced a set of Pilot Sport 4s and while they have great grip they do not have as much sidewall rim protection as the 4s so they seem a bit skinnier than the same size 4s. Otherwise good tyre but doing it again I would get the 4s instead.

Maybe they need to wear in more, but compared to a new set of pilot sport 4 these didn't like the wet at first. Pilot sport 4 when brand new were really grippy, these slip a bit in the wet. Hopefully that improves as they wear in though - could just be because they're meant to last longer that they aren't as sticky at first

These tyres are superb. Amazing in the wet and the dry. As others have said, may not be the most feedback, but they are quite and perform very well. Durability is said to be improved as well.

New Pilot Sport 5 are awesome on a BMW 640i. Extremely low profile 275/35/19 and 245/40/19 usually means harsh noisy ride.These tyres are smooth and quiet. Much better than previous Bridgestone Re050aPerformance is fantastic wet or dry braking, cornering. Car gets driven very hard.
