Great set of coveralls! Warm and comfortable. Great for being outdoors and keeping the winter chill out. I work on a ski hill and having these makes a world of difference compared to other options. The Arctic Quilt is warm, but can be too warm if you arenâ??t dealing with really cold temps. On slightly warm days (I.e. anything above 15F) Iâ??m fine wearing these and a base layer as long as I keep moving. They have a good amount of flex to stand, sit, kneel, and move about. Solid built and would recommend to anyone working outdoors in the winter time.

These bibs are amazing everything I was expecting. In the past I have had the R41, 2 years ago I bought a new pair of R27 they are very good bibs I have been wanting a pair of R03 since after I bought them and now I have an extra pair of bibs to fall back on if need be. These bibs are super warm and most importantly “MADE IN THE U.S.A.”. Bib wise all I wear is Carhartt anything I have ever own is Carhartt they are built to last. You will not be disappointed. They fit perfectly to size I wear a 30/32 I bought a 32/32 they Are just right. In the R27 I bought a 32/32 as well they fit perfect. Thank you Carhartt!

I recently bought a home with a wood burner, so I bought all the gear chainsaw, wood splitter and some Carhartt insulated bib overalls . I was cutting a tree down and hit my leg with the chainsaw and believe it or not the coveralls saved me a lot of pain because they stopped the chainsaw from hitting my flesh. It tore up my new coveralls so I contacted Carhartt to by a patch and Carhartt took my info and they are sending me a patch free of charge. The bottom line is Carhartt makes an awesome set of coveralls and an even better costumer support. Thanks again W. Norris

Classic quality and craftsmanship from carhartt. Problem is that the top bib area is unlined and the zippers exist from waist down only and not from top of bib to waist. Even with the sizing changes fit was the same on my husband odering a 38/32 inseam over the 38/34 outter leg seam as was the previous garment sizing my husband ordered in years past. We returned due to above mentioned cons and the return shipping cost from CO was $16.00. Not buying online again as we live near enough to Carhartt supplier's and I dont want to pay $16.00 to try on bibs. Please make a mans bib that protects my husband from constant exposure to Mountainous Winter elements during his 12 hour shifts and yet is still machine washable? I tried to get the less expensive pair of bibs for in store pickup but they were not available. Now I have to pay for shipping. So I place the order, receive my confirmation and four days later get a notification they are out of stock. Apparently their online system doesn't sink with the warehouse. I call back and now have to upgrade to this pair of bibs. The whole ordering experience was not good but my son loves these bibs as far as the warmth goes. He does wish they had the buttons on the side at the waist.
I've finally retired these bibs after 3 winters of 5 days a week in crawlspaces and gravel equipment rooms. (I am extremely hard on bibs, probably doing things the "legal" guys would call negligence and industrial use.)The first to go were the sides of the knees, then the bottom seams. This was the first set that the backside didnt split out. I have been buying bibs yearly until finally going to these Carhartt brand bibs 3 years ago. They lasted 3 times the ones from the local big box store. I will be getting a couple more for this winter and hopefully swapping between 2 different pairs can extend the life even more.
Great American made build. Only thing is that carhartt runs small in waste and long in inseam. I am normally a 34 waist and 32 inseam. I bought a 36 waist because I factored in the fact that I'd have pants on underneath them. The 36 was way too tight and the length was too long. I ended up getting a 38 waist and 30 length and that fit perfectly. I also bought duck pants and had a similar issue where I bought a 34 waist 32 length and needed a 36 waist and 30 length.Hope this helps
I would give it 5 stars but they are just a little tighter around my stomach than I thought they would be. But honestly it's only a little noticeable. That's my only complaint. And it's not really a complaint. More of a self realization I should probably shed a few pounds. They are incredibly warm and durable. Good range of movement in the legs. Shoulder straps don't bunch up or twist. More than worth what I paid for them.
Best bibs hands down. Keeps you warm and last a lifetime. Had mine for 15+ years and wear at work (electrician), skiing, football games, and outdoors activities. I usually wear a 32" pant inseam but wear a 30" in bibs so they don't drag on the floor. If Carhartt added a protective strip at the bottom cuff that would be a homer. Zippers up to knee a huge help getting on/off with boots. You won't be disappointed with these bibs.
Went to Iceland the last week of March. These overalls kept me warm and protected me from extremely high winds.Using the "True Fit" feature on the page really helped getting the right size. Fit really well but on the tighter side with Jeans & thermal undergarments underneath. It was annoying while hiking to hear the inside of the legs rub against each other the whole time. Hoping this won't lead to a future crotch blowout. The overalls are heavy so hiking was a little harder than it should have been but with the cold high winds that sweep across Iceland and even more at the foot of the glaciers it wouldn't be caught with out them.I was also able to stand in the rain for a long time in these.
