TOO BIG! Ladies, I read all of the previous reviews and decided on a medium when I knew I should have got a small. They are too big! Sort of wearable/manageable, definitely fine if you need some big layers underneath both top and bottom. But as a daily, too much. I am 5'6", ~135–140 pounds, athletic straight, not curvey. More leg than torso, so I prefer Talls so I don't have short pants with boots. I bought the medium tall to begin with, decided they would be OK and washed and wore twice. The amount of fabric between the legs is a rub factor no matter how snug you pull them up. Just a lot of excess fabric all over. A lot of reviews said regular was too short in the straps, the talls barely make it, glad for that room. I broke down and bought a SM tall, and I love ... MoreTOO BIG! Yes, same complaints about the tab buckles, lame & flimsy. But the fit is great. I can still fit leggings underneath, even a hoodie if I wanted it. But much more fitting, less bulk. This pair of Women’s Carhartt Bib overalls in Dark Brown, Size Small, Regular length, fit me so well! I was worried after I got an XS/Short and my thighs felt tight. I’m sure I could have worn them, but I don’t like my clothing to fit tight and I prefer to have a little extra length. The short just grazed the tops of my shoes. I’m 5’4, 125 lbs, 34b and this pair is PHENOMENAL. They feel extremely well made and will be stylish for the fall/winter season due to the color. I have a pair of black Dickie’s overalls but I actually prefer these Carhartt overalls. (I’m not a huge fan of the strange flat buckles that need to be turned on their side and slid through a slit, though. I’m sure I’ll get used to them). Overall, I’m extremely impressed. Plus the curbside pickup at Tractor Supply was EFFORTLESS! I waited maybe two minutes. If that! I did mark that I was on my way in the app. They came unopened in a bag straight from Carhartt. I will definitely order from Tractor Supply Again. For the fantastic sale price I received combined with the customer service… winning combination!! Thank you, Tractor Supply!!

Soft and cozy. Excellent fit, but long legs. Exceptional quality. My new favorite autumn look. These are not stiff and hard feeling, but that soft worn in feeling. I love the hardware, which feels high quality. Great for everyday wear. These don’t ride up, and have the flexibility to allow bending and ease of movement. I can’t recommend them enough.

I ordered the “natural” color in an XS Short and wore them to work before washing and drying in the dryer, the fabric is thin and has a small amount of stretch so it shrank a bit drawing the inseam up enough to barely hit my ankle and I got paint on them while working so I ordered the same off white bibs in an XS Reg and they fit much better, after the dryer the hem sits on top of my boot without dragging the ground in back. I’ve since let the hem out and seen the flap down on the shorter pair so I could wear them without showing my entire shin when crouching down. Also, dark undergarments are plainly visible through the fabric. I paint houses and these are the most comfortable “painters whites” I’ve found. I adore these! I can tell they are amazing quality for working in just about any situation in, but I decided to take my pair as a top layer over fleece to Iceland in the winter and they were absolute perfection. I couldn't be happier. I will say the front bib covers more than regular bibs but I love that too, because the function is extra amazing. I even wore them through the airport, which was a small (and worthwhile) pain getting through TSA but afterwards I was free sailing and felt I couldn't have worn a more comfortable piece of clothing. So stinkin comfy! I've only had my carhartts for about a month and I think I have worn them for the majority of the month ??I purchased an XL short, they fit comfortably with plenty of room for movement, and I'm about 190lbs, ... MoreI adore these! Highly recommend!!
I have 6 Carhartt overalls/coveralls. My duck cotton bib overalls is very thick and durable, which I use for work in a warehouse. Still going strong after 4 years. No holes or damage and straps stay in place. Only complaint are the buckle clasps, they catch and pull my hair.I like these for everyday/casual wear. They are straight leg, so not tapered and are relaxed fit. So instead of wearing sweats or leggings I throw on a pair of overalls/coveralls for everyday wear and errands.Cons- not rugged and the fabric is very thin, not appropriate for labor. The front pocket on the bib fits my phone perfect but developed a hole from the phone! The straps loosen and bunch as I wear them because the fabric is thin. These definitely are not for physical labor.
LOVE these! They are super comfortable, have an insane amount of pockets, and unique clasps that attach the straps to the bid (make it easier to use the bathroom). I'm complimented on them constantly.I wear them everywhere : tilling, digging, planting our garden - re-plastering our walls - washing the dog - music festivals. They are like the sisterhood of the traveling overalls. I was a little worried about the white, but everything that should have stained (mustard, grass, mud) has washed out.I have an athletic, curvy build, 5'5", 160lbs - ordered a size medium, and they are loose-fitting, in a good way. The legs are a bit long, but that's a very easy fix.
These are the best overalls I've ever owned. Not surprising given that they're Carhartt.Pockets everywhere! And they're deep! The material is very durable, yet soft and stretchy. The length is perfect too. I'll probably get another pair for other project wear. 10/10My only 2 minor complaints is that I wish the straps were a bit longer to adjust for those who have longer torsos. I adjusted mine to the longest point and they fit perfectly. (I'm 5'4")And they do run a little large, not by much, but they will fall off my waist if I don't use the straps. But when am I honestly not going to use the straps. **So keep that in mind and buy at least 1 size smaller than what you're used to.**I'm just glad I got the XS.
Im a ceramic student and I wanted something other than an apron to work in. I like these overalls, they fit well and I love that they have a short option. Im 5ft 2in and they fit just right to my liking. I think they will be perfect for working with clay, but I am curious to see how they will hold up after many washes. The buckles are not my favorite at all and I wish they were the traditional buckles we see on overalls. Other than that I feel like I got what I paid for and I am happy with the purchase.
I order my 4th and 5th overalls from Carhartt. Usually I go in to like a boot barn or something, and I get whatever they have in my size. So I can't be picky on a particular color. I have notice through out the years the flex fit is a good fitting size and is super comfortable. But with my last two purchases, I can't order up a rugged flex fit that is relaxed. My loose fit is way to big in the crouch. Like I am suppose to have flab there. I am a slim woman and I can't seem to relaxed sizes in these overalls anymore. How in the heck am I suppose to order a relaxed fit for these overalls? I might have to move to Ariat now. My 2021 and 2020 overalls are holding up well but these newer colors have a thinner fabric, its like plush fabric. If you want the thick material and you need that for your work like I do. Stick to tan. Carhart is great for having women sizes for different sized women and it great, but its starting to favor bigger sizes. Im not some bored house wife who uses Carhartt just for show. I actually am a blue collar worker who needs durable clothing. Carhartt you have disappointed me with only having loose fit for these overalls, and cheaping out on the material. I will be returning my order in. I will keep wearing your brand until you change up sizes for you jackets and other clothing, but overalls and pants, I will have to look else where. I might get lucky with tractor supply and get a older year overall just in my size but that is a long shot. I was super excited with my new overalls. So look at your overalls people, if you like relaxed fit and never tried loose fit do not order its way to roomy and good luck finding the relaxed fit version of these overalls. Also do not order the work boot if you have wider feet. The boot sizes are only for narrow feet.
