Purchased Carhartt coat when coat was delivered to my house zipper could not be unzipped. called Carhartt they said to return coat to store. I returned the coat to Mesa AZ. Carhartt coat was returned, told the person at the return counter that the zipper could not be unzipped, and received a credit. looking around the store for a while and noticed my x coat was back on the hanger for sale to the next sucker. Carhartt know this is a problem but keep shipping defected coat out the door.

I don’t like it.I am a tradesman and need access to my belt and pockets constantly. The jacket I have purchased and worn for over 20 years was discontinued for some reason and I will need to start looking elsewhere nowThe pockets in my usual jacked never had anything fall out.The First day, I lost something out of one of the side pockets. The inside pockets are different and the felt lining makes it difficult to put on and causes static. I do not like the attached hood. I have a detachable hood for my old jackets that worked just fine.

This jacket is amazing! I love the storm cuffs, we'll designed pockets and gusseted shoulders. It is also very warm! I am 5'8" 175lbs, my only issue is that it is long in the body and the elastic is quite tight- I reckon the elastic will loosen up and maybe a wash will allow the excess fabric to fold over. Sleeve length, however, is great.

The best thing about it is how durable and warm it feels. I have zero regrets about buying the jacket. The pockets are great, especially the phone pocket on the chest. I put my wallet, phone, keys, and more into that pocket and it fits it all comfortably. The range of motion they have archived is also fantastic. It barely rides up if you are reaching up high to work on something. Overall a great investment into a great jacket which i hope will last a very long time.
This is, in my opinion, the most versatile jacket they make.Fit: TTS and has space to wear a heavy sweatshirt underneath (I wear a medium in Nike and this in medium fits me just fine)Comfort: perfect for me; I prefer this to the the similar model that isn't a 'Full Swing', because of the added freedom of movement.Material/durability: outstanding. The Carhartt shell is insanely durable. There's also a degree of water resistance (not like a rain shell, but enough to keep one dry for an hour in the rain).Warmth: better than one would think - this with a flannel or sweatshirt underneath is plenty warm when standing around at/around 30F.
I had my last Carharrt 14 years...as a casual multipurpose jacket more than anything but, it saw the world of a redneck! It went to restaurants, endless off-roading sessions, it hunted, changed the oil, chopped wood, brawled, was attacked by a Pitbull (with me in it) it even went to a funeral (remember, I'm a redneck)...I did everything BUT work in it...my job is in a 100 degree factory, year round, so no need for a jacket in there! Anyway, it had it's share of slag-holes from welding, but it is still back there in need of a zipper, that just gave-up last month. So the other day I decided it was time to finally buy another Carharrt jacket, and I worried, "Do they still make them as well as they used too?"...as so much has changed in the world, and seldom for the ... Luckily for me my store was out of the regular jacket in my size, and so I had to opt for the "FullSwing" Active. It's frigid here in Indy and I didn't make it out of the parking-lot before putting it on in the truck. My answer to "do they still make them as well" was instantly answered when I reached for the steering-wheel of my truck...SO MUCH BETTER! This thing is heavier than my old one, obviously just as tough and well made, but it was like I didn't have a jacket on when I reached for that steering wheel! No restriction of motion whatsoever! That's some cool stuff! When I got home I reached over my head, out to my sides, for my shoe-laces...all as effortless as reaching for the wheel. Who would have ever thought so much awesome engineering could go into something like a jacket, and make that huge a difference? I'm very impressed, and I'm never impressed. My only complaint is that I wish more stores stocked the large-guy sizes, in full array, such-as this jacket in the tall. I'm 6'2, 280 pounds. The 2XL fits me well enough, save for the length, but that's more a sore thing (Meijer) than a manufacturer thing. I'm not the kinf=d of person that returns things for any reason, so Im'ma keep it but, I hate having to settle all the time. I have a size 15 foot, so I get it there all the time too. Life.BUY THIS JACKET! And any other Carharrt product...you can't go wrong spending a little more for something that will last five x's longer!
This Full Swing Loose Fit Washed Duck Fleece-Lined Active Jacket is a good deal much more that I had hoped for. It's a great jacket for working in the cold/wet, but I wanted something much lighter weight. I already had a heaver jacket which is longer than this one. I would rate this jacket 5 stars, but I just wanted a lighter weight jacket. It's great, but a bit too much for me. It's very nice looking (Smoke color).
Great jacket, love the full swing but sizing is way off. Please update your sizing charts. I ordered this jacket 3x. My girlfriend originally got me the J140 for Christmas in large and it was huge, I could fit another full size coat underneath. She returned it and I ordered this in a large again looking at the charts and fit reviews on the website. Nope too wide again but length was good, so I got the medium long. Nope, the medium long was longer then the large, again, I had referred to the charts and the reviews, they were wrong. Finally got the medium it's great but I live in the desert so getting it right in March means it will used a few times maybe then hang til October or November, thanks!5'11" chest 44" waist 36" shoulders 21" just to reference
I love how this feels. Very durable and plenty of room in the hood. I didn't consider that the pockets have a vertical opening, so when I go to walk my dog I can't clip the treat pouch anywhere. I couldn't reach the waistband because I got the tall version as that's what I normally order in women's clothes (I am a 5'9'' woman) and I forgot I was ordering a men's cut coat because of my wider shoulders. The range of motion is incredible, and being autistic, if I'm in constrictive clothing I would rather rip them off, burn them, and use the flames for a couple more seconds of warmth before freezing to death. I don't feel that way in this coat as all. I love it! What I will say, is if you get the tall version and you aren't taller than 5'9'', the front of the collar ... MoreI love how this feels. What I will say, is if you get the tall version and you aren't taller than 5'9'', the front of the collar stabs you in the neck and under the chin. The thick material stays stiffly in that position too, so I folded it over with binder clips and it worked like a charm.
I work maintenance on a golf course so I’m outside all the time. This coat keeps me warm under most conditions. If there is a light rain, no problem. During heavy showers I will break out the rain suit. The “Full Swing” cut is very comfortable, I never feel binding in the elbows, shoulders, or armpits. Now the fit … I am 6’1” and 190 lbs. I like my clothes loose fitting, and I do layer on colder days. I got an XLarge and the fit is perfect for me. If you need a coat for outside work, you can’t go wrong with this one. Highly recommended!
