Ok so now I've been using this for 2 years now I feel I can post my personal experience in case it helps.I'm a 50 yr old guy now and always thought cod liver oil was an old people thing, then 5 years ago, my knees became so painful that everyday activities like crouching or using the toilet were excruciating. After researching online I read all about how the liquid is much better than capsules, due to the potency and daily values required. With my age if I'm going to buy something I like to read up and get the best quality of something rather than a cheaper version I decided to try cod liver oil, specifically the Carlson liquid form, as had good reviews everywhere. From the first purchase my experience was this, I took a teaspoon every morning before breakfast. ...Ā MoreOk so now I've been using this for 2 years now I feel I can post my personal experience in case it helps.I'm a 50 yr old guy now and always thought cod liver oil was an old people thing, then 5 years ago, my knees became so painful that everyday activities like crouching or using the toilet were excruciating. The natural lemon flavor tasted fine and didn’t leave a funny aftertaste. In the first month, I occasionally experienced "fish burps," but they became less frequent. After 2-3 weeks, my knee pain started to lessen. The pain during lowering and raising movements became less severe, and the grinding sensation in my knees decreased. Within 4-6 weeks, the pain during movement was completely gone. I couldn't believe I'd put up with a couple of years with pain and not tried this sooner! After my first bottle ran out, I went about 3-4 weeks without taking it, and my knee pain gradually returned. Although it wasn't as bad as before, it reminded me how uncomfortable it was and don't want to degenerate back to that. So, I ordered more and within two weeks of resuming my joint movement was smooth and the pain was gone, so quicker result than the first time. Any time I've run out and gone more than four weeks without it, the pain and crunchy sensation in my knees start to return slowly. Now, I consistently order it to maintain pain-free joint movement. The natural lemon flavor is great, making it a pleasant experience. I can't understand why some people complain about the taste of liquid cod liver oil. Recently, when the lemon flavor was out of stock, I bought the unflavored version. Unfortunately, the unflavored version is unpleasant, akin to sucking on a sweaty fish. However, for the benefits, I’ve just had to man up. I take a swig every morning, have a couple of seconds of thinking "ugh," drink some water, and then have breakfast. It’s not the end of the world and is a small price to pay for knee pain relief. But I’ll switch back to lemon when I've finished these.Cod liver oil has been a revelation for me. Who knew it could lubricate joints and alleviate knee pain, even if you're relatively young. So in my personal opinion of 2 years using I can only recommend.

Great
11 October 2024

I love the Carlson brand. The quality is excellent. Free of heavy metals ingredient. In Uzbekistan, doctors recommend the Carlson brand. Every year, when the days get cold, I buy Carlson brand Omega, Cod liver. I will give it to my children. Cod liver is different from other Omegas. It contains a lot of Vitamin A. Brightens the complexion. Helps with skin, hair problems. Works against inflammation. The taste is good. Fish liver oil is very useful. Strengthens benefirt the heart. Controls cholesterol. The packaging is excellent.

One of the best

One of the best cod liver fish oils. Lemon taste is pleasant, it leaves a lemony aftertaste. This liquid form is one of the most bioavailable ones and gets absorbed the most. Make sure to keep it in the fridge and not let it sit opened. After opening the bottle you should consume it in 2 months max, otherwise it will oxidise and have no effect. I recommend for general health and anti inflammation. This helps with my disk hernia back problems by reducing. If you live in Europe, search for Peter Moller which is the original manufacturer of this.

Purchased to assist Knee recovery
3 January 2024

I play alot of post-50 recreational tennis. I have been taking Equazen Omega 3 & 6 capsules and switched to liquid cod liver oil. The key is oils in liquid form with the added benefits of Vit A and D. Equazen capsules already prove to me I benefit from essential oils and now I get A & D ... my eyesight outdoors in daylight, driving without requiring glasses has improved, skin improved, annual health checks cholesterol is good. I am going through right knee articular cartilage fissures (medial) so doing everything I can from a diet perspective to assist with physio before I head for my arthroscopic surgery. Quality product.

So far, so good

I started taking cod liver oil to help relieve increasing gum pain. I've long been familiar with Weston A. Price practices, and starting drinking raw milk, and grass-fed butter to up my Vitamin A intake. Between oil-pulling, a nutrient-dense diet and taking my cod liver, my pain has decreased about 95% at the moment. We even give a small amounts to our dogs, to supplement their raw-meat diet. The old chihuahua with skin issues, has grown back softer fur, and her inflamed, red skin around her neck and paws is gone. We attribute this to the cod liver oil, as it is the only thing changed in her diet. So far this brand has been good for our household, and we'll continue to use it. I will note that on days I eat a lot of seafood, I will skip my cod liver dose, so I don't ...Ā MoreI started taking cod liver oil to help relieve increasing gum pain. Sumple, Tasty, & Effective Vitamin D Supplement
6 August 2024

I primarily take Cod Liver oil as a Vitamin D supplement; of course, it does have other cardiac and joint health benefits. I notice that I recover more quickly from exercise and don't experience as much pain during / after minor injuries (example: rolling my ankle). I absolutely adore the Lemon flavor! It compliments the slight fishy taste beautifully. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a simple, tasty, and effective Vitamin D or heart / joint health supplement!

Carlson's Norwegian Cod liver oil is a quality product. It helps calm inflammation in the body, achy, stiff, joints and the lemony taste is pleasant and no fishy tastes whatsoever. My husband has two herniated disks in his lower neck and has said it's the only thing that has remotely helped with swelling and pain. I've started taking it because my job as an elementary school cafeteria chef is very physically demanding. A teaspoon every night and it's helped me with the little bit of the creaky, soreness in my knees and lower back. I've also seen some improvements in my hair growth and overall health. It's much cheaper to buy it from Carlson's here on Amazon, than in the vitamin stores. It arrives quickly, packaged very well and I've never had a cracked or leaking ...Ā MoreCarlson's Norwegian Cod liver oil is a quality product.
