I use this product all the time and it really does help with my chapped lips. It lasts a long time because u only need to use a little bit of it to work. It makes my lips have a smoother appearance and overall feels nice. It’s handy and small and I’m able to take it wherever I go which is really easy. my friends and I all use it and we all love it. It doesn’t have a yucky feeling when you put it on and it’s not a sticky texture like other cheap lip balms. Before using it I would’ve wanted to know that it can have a slight burning sensation as it helps with chapped lips however it’s not painful or anything. The tube it comes in good because it allows you to get all of it out without struggling like when you get to the end of the toothpaste tube. I feel like it’s also more hygienic that the jar of lip balm as you can share it without putting your finger in it. You can apply it either straight to your lips or by using your finger. I’ve only had to go through a few of these in the past year or so( keep in mind I use this multiple times a day), and I don’t have to use it sparingly. You can get these almost anywhere- coles, Woolies, the chemist etc and it’s always for a good price and you don’t have to worry about looking for a special brand of lip balm and struggling.

I've written elsewhere about discovering Carmex in its home state of Wisconsin after having my lips chapped to literally not being able to move them (camping on a prairie lake in October). Walked into a store making noises and pointing at my lips; the guy behind the counter whipped out a pot of Carmex and said something to the effect of "This will hurt, but it'll fix it." I applied it and whooped around like a goofball...and within SECONDS the pain in my lips eased, the badly cracked chapped skin started softening, and I walked out of there with half a dozen pots of this miracle balm. It is my absolute favorite lip balm of all times. I always and always repurchase it for years now. The price here is quite good well so I usually purchase a good amount of them for whenever I run out. They moisturize right away and have SPF as well! If your lips are dry, you might feel tingly or a bit stingy with first use but it's nothing to worry about. With time, as your lips become more moisturized that does not happen. That was the case with me. It does not have a certain scent. The size is actually good it lasts me a long time. I would highly recommend it.

My ultimate go to lip balm!

It is my absolute favorite lip balm of all times. I always and always repurchase it for years now. I was introduced to Carmex in its home state of Wisconsin about 30 years ago. I was camping in October by a beautiful oak-prairie lake, the wind whipped around cold but bracing, and before I knew it my lips were more chapped than ever before. Couldn't even move them to talk. Found a little grocery store in town, went in, and made kinda WUH WUH FNF WUH noises, while pointing to my cracked bleeding swollen kisser. Guy at the checkout reached out, grabbed a pot of this stuff, and handed it to me. "This'll do it," he said. I applied it, whooped and hollered...boy did it smell nice though. Skiing, skating, camping, sailing, field archery, fieldwork, you name it, from 110 F to 40 below, sun and shade, wet and dry, calm and windy. It also works great on nose/nostril chapping from snorking and blowing with a cold. Again, you'll whoop a bit, but the healing is just incredible. A great product produced by the same family whose dad and grandpa cooked up the first batch on the kitchen stove to help relieve his winter sports family's cracked lips.
