This is a physical box but a downloadable game, so no game card. This games is brilliant for little ones. Theres are lots of different mini games and pretty much only one button to press. My 3 year old picked it up really easily and absolutely loves that he can now join in with games, and he even wins!Lots of family fun, i highly recommend it if you have little ones :)

“Carnival Games” on the Wii system is a lot of fun! This game has over 30 mini games/activities to play. It can be played with one person, a couple, or a family. I would say the games are challenging but not too difficult. The key is to have enough room to play it in front of your tv (there’s lots of motions with the Wii remote). The games here are the exact same games that you play at the carnival or fair: ring toss, dunk tank, darts, golfing, alley ball, ka-pow, and many more! I find this game better than being at the fair and I recommend that you enjoy it too!

This game might be limited to twenty mini adventures, but it can be fun. There are traditional cardinal games for your Nintendo Switch with this. At $19.99 that’s a fair price. Here you can shoot arrows, pop balloons, throw rings, and my favorite is the baseball home run contest. If more of the games were like that, this would have a higher rating. Yet it’s one that most will find a few to go through. The graphics aren’t that great. I do find the carnival music amusing though. You can unlock more activities by winning games. This isn’t a real challenge, but it adds some adventure to this. Load times can be slow, and I’m not sure what the deal is. If you’re on a road trip or short flight, this is a good diversion.

Expensive Shovelware.
14 December 2021

This game isn’t worth $5. There is zero strategy involved in any of the games, even for a 3 year old. The games are tedious and repetitive. Even worse only a few games are unlocked when you first play.To unlock the others you have to grind through the locked one to earn “tickets”. If these were levels like in a game that works but these are mini games. When is the last time you went to a carnival and you couldn’t play the milk jug toss until you played slot car racing?

Family Friendly Fun!!!

A little bit of context- I bought this for (an immediate family) carnival themed birthday party, so I didn’t have to buy carnival games. Lazy, I know, but the fam loves video games, so, why not? I read a lot of bad reviews, so I think that helped prepare my expectations. This game can accommodate up to six players, but we only had three controllers. There are different gameplay modes- tournament mode unlocks new games and racks up tickets really quick! The Avatars are kind of creepy in a fun, uncanny, way. The games were easy to learn- even gramgrams had fun, and she... doesn’t game. It was challenging enough to satisfy those of us who genuinely enjoy gaming, too. For me, it was worth it to buy this just to play once or twice, because of the money (and navigable open space) I saved not having to buy and set up, actual carnival games. Also... we had a blast!!!

Family and Quality time option
25 September 2021

Great for family challenges. Need at least 4 controls. Great for senior relatives especially those that were used to playing the wii sports games. My toddler sets up the game and plays with grandparents. One is recovering from extensive surgery and enjoys playing as well. You have to play some game to unlock others, yet it's worth it once you master one game. You'll be able to earn tickets faster to unlock other games. 25 games leave you wishing for 25 more. Good overall fun. Worth it. Glad I didn't pass up the purchase.

Fun little time waster
26 November 2022

This game is meant to be a time waster. Pop it in and play for a little bit. Its not going to blow you away with graphics or gaming appeal. Its literally a fun little game to play. I also recommend playing with one than one person.

Good set of games
15 February 2020

This is a set of several games with some unlocked initially and others unlockable with points earned playing the games that are initially unlocked. There is a game in which you aim a ball thrower with the left stick and throw the ball into a set of rotating cups with the (A) button and score by filling multiple adjacent cups. It is easy to win. There is another game where you hit baseballs with a bat that are pitched to you by a machine. In another game, you throw basketballs into a hoop which is moving up and down. You can play against automated players, or against other people. I haven't played all the games yet, but from what I have played already, I am glad I purchased this.

Less fun games from the Carnival
10 February 2019

They keep trying to capture the love from the original Carnival Games on the Wii and this game just falls short. Very short. Some of the games are fun, but I hate that they all require 4 players (using bots to fill in the 1-3 missing humans if you don't have 4 friends with you). The play styles for the games can be repetitive and boring. You don't really feel like you're accomplishing much.Unlocking all the games and stuff just feels like a chore because the games just aren't all that fun. This is fine to kill a few minutes her and there. Younger crowds might enjoy it more than older. I still come back to it here and there but this is not a long-term play sort of game.

Terrible
24 July 2023

This game sucks. I'm not even sure how you finally get to the other games but it doesn't work well and it's very disappointing. I'm not sure why they could figure it out with the Wii but they can't figure it out with the switch. Come up with a bar you can connect to the switch then to make it better but these type of games are absolutely terrible on the switch.
