I mean, it certainly works, but you have to drill your own hole into the dishwasher connection, which I only found out after lots of trial and error trying to unclog my dishwasher. Baffled by why they even sell a seperate pipe that comes with a dishwasher connection but then don't precut a hole.

The actual dishwasher connection hole is blocked off. Seems like a manufacturing issue.Purchased 2 because it kept blocking my machine and they both had the same problem! Had to drill out the hole myself.
Products like these should be included as part of a DIY test before you enter bunnings. If you fail the test (Not knowing to drill a hole to complete the drainage bypass) then you shouldn't be allowed to enter bunnings. I can't believe some of the reviews below.
My dishwasher was having drainage issues so I checked the dishwasher connection and it was pretty blocked up and festy so i decided just to buy this to replace the existing one instead of cleaning it. I hooked the dishwasher up and again, drainage issue. Obviously this one wasn't going to be blocked because it was brand new, right? so I sadly put my dishwasher out for council clean up. Anyway I bought a new dishwasher... SAME THING HAPPENED, drainage issue!After spending hours unsuccessfully troubleshooting, I decided to put my finger in the dishwasher connection and it was completely blocked! Nowhere on it does it say you need to drill a hole in it, nor did the bunnings employee when he showed me where the item was. Looking good. Screwed on both ends firmly and ran water. No leaks so relieved.
Good product. Short inlet is great for basins and is a clean, neat option. Sits a little higher if you need to increase the decline of drain. Caroma version also comes with a diagram on package to help with installation.
Difficult to do the required job / stop the leak. Ended up using original P trap with new washers
Saved alot of space in my tiny 300mm laundry tub area. Also helped get the fall to the existing outlet waste pipe after the new flooring was raised 100mm’
