I received this to try out in my home. This car is so much fun! I’m a grown adult, and this is a lot of fun to play with. I know I’ll pass it along to my kids at some point, but I’m having fun with it first. :) I did read the directions, so I know this is for flat surfaces only. I’ve had it out on the driveway, which is a great place for it. If it careens off into the grass, it is instantly stuck. It’s pretty fast, too. I just need to get a hang of the controls.

Charging set up is a total let down

Ok, who passed this as an awesome toy kids or parents? Hahahaha!!! The charging on this car is so inconvenient. In order to charge you have to remove the chargeable battery every single time. (Fingers crossed the screwdriver doesn’t get lost after every use…oops!) Plus it’s a different kind of charging port on a tiny wire too so here’s hoping we don’t lose either the battery or the charge wire to what ever has taken our screwdriver.

Fun

Like the other reviews, the car is fast. I took away a star because the battery compartment could be a litter larger to accommodate the battery and wires. The charging plug is very fragile. Depending on how you put the battery in, it could damage it wires.

Fun for all ages!

My kids love this car! During these difficult times of quarantine, we’ve been grateful for new activities. Even my youngest daughter (4) is able to maneuver this remote control car - you should hear the squeals of joy! It is very sturdy, fast, and I enjoy all the details - such as how Mario tilts in the direction of the turns. The only downfall, which is true of all these types of cars, is that it has a short battery life and you need to unscrew the plate to recharge the battery.

Fun remote control car

Super cute and fun little racecar for my children. They love that Mario's head bobbles around while driving. It's pretty big for a remote control car and the colors are vibrant. The remote is easy to use and has a very long range. The car will still be racing around with the remote being in another room or upstairs. My only complaint would be that the battery doesn't last very long and it's kind of a hassle to unscrew and remove it to charge it. I wish the access to the battery was easier. I still think it's a great little toy!

Hard Pass

One star for being cute. Trust the reviews - it’s junk. It didn’t work out of the box. Followed directions and charged the battery. Mario would move side to side but never would move forward or backward. Returned it. Save your money and DO NOT BUY THIS.

Horrible customer service

We received this gift for Christmas for my two year old son. When we opened the box the batteries, usb charging piece, and the rechargeable battery were all missing. I contacted the company for help and they refused to replace the missing pieces or to allow me to replace the car with a functioning one. I was forced to return the car and had to try to explain this to my two year old who already opened the gift. I would never recommend anything from this company.

Mario Cool

This car is seriously cool! I got this for my son who loves all things cars. He's only 3yrs old, so he has a bit of trouble getting the car to move around like he wants; an older kiddo would have no issue using the controller. Regardless, he loves watching Mario bobble and zoom around the house/yard. We've had it for three days, and so far it has held up to a lot of rough play- backyard mud run, flying off the top of the stairwell inside, slamming into walls/doors/rocks, etc. Overall, great car!

So fun!

This car is so fun! Mario's movement is really what makes it: he tilts left and right with the direction of the car, so it really looks like he's driving it! The simple up-down and left-right joysticks making driving simple even for younger kids. It gets good speed. I appreciated that the battery in the car is rechargeable; it comes with a USB cord the battery plugs into, so no need to keep purchasing batteries. The remote does take 2 AAA batteries, but these don't have to be replaced often.

Wheel broke off in 20 minutes of use

WIthin' 20 minutes of using this car, it bumped into a wall and the wheel broke off! with any RC car you would think there would be durability. not with this one. Big disappointment for my son, save your child the bad experience and buy something more durable.
