A surprisingly handsome watch up close. I havent really explored all its functions, but the world map and digital dial (representing hour, minute and second hands) are thoughtful inclusions. Viewing angle is respectable. The amber backlight is a great color but a little uneven, and I wish it would stay illuminated when I hold the button down.

Best watch ever made.

If value is your thing, then consider this the best digital watch ever made. I can think of no better watch for travelers/adventurers as it's bulletproof, waterproof, feature packed and very comfortable. Also the accuracy is awesome. I have 5 of them and the most they vary over a month's time is about 7 seconds. The best one I have varies only a sliver fraction of a second per month. Just buy one, you won't regret it.

I absolutely love this item! I have been a long time supporter and lover of al things G-Shock and Casio and this watch has been with me on every run, on every call and every date since I got it in the mail. The wristband is very comfortable even when twisting and bending your wrist while lifting some groceries or working out! I recommend you get it. The 5 Alarm feature is serious. I love it. And the volume is definitely there. loud enough to wake me when I'm sleeping. But Soft enough if I was watching a movie. I dont know why its genius, but it is! Dot forget to take your swim with this watch. Its more than capable.

Got exactly as shown in picture

I was looking for not a smart watch and good looking retro style and I got it.It's very comfortable to wear and the looks are awesome. It does a watch should do simply tell time and set alarm and also you can set different time zone . overly fancy tech is just a waste if you have a phone. If you like this kind of watches just go for it blindly you won't regret.

I have a couple of these, a black with a black map and black resin band, and a silver one with black map and a SS band. For what you pay for this watch, usually anywhere between $20 and$30, you get a LOT of watch in return. It takes care of all the basic features such as regular timekeeping and an alarm clock, then expands on that with true World Time with DST, instead of an alarm, there are five of them, an hourly chime, and a countdown timer. There's also a smaller, analog clock in the upper left hand corner that displays the current time for whatever you have set for your main timekeeping screen. About the only thing missing is an EL backlight instead of the two orange LED lights in the bottom corners. With three different color models available, and two AE1300 models, if you're even a little handy with regard to watch disassembly and reassembly, there are many color and band combinations you can create. Since the two models use the same case and the maskings come out easily, it's easy to put your masking and module into any case and swap out any band onto it.

I like CASIO watches.

I like it shows the world map of the time zone that is selected. What I don't like is that the map is too small. I rather have a larger map and larger digits than having the fake analog clock on the face. I think it's more accurate than my other two CASIO watches.

CASIO is known for its quality and accurate time. Note: Don't be alarm by the instruction booklet's size. Once learn which button settings to deploy, it's becomes very natural, intuitive and second nature to recall how to adjust settings. Although many CASIO watches can be worn as "unisex" time pieces, in my own view, this unit is more suited as a male watch with its larger face. Time piece is light weight with upwards a 10-years battery life. With a rubber wrist band, this unit can be worn as sport watch, as well as, casual street wear.
