A clear face makes this multi-function classic styled watch easy to read . It keeps excellent time and has a long battery life. Being lightweight and low profile makes it comfortable to wear. The built-in light does not fully illuminate the display. It can be worn in the shower and while swimming with no worries but the provided soft strap is weak and tends to break in time. A tougher strap is recommended.

Comfortable, dependable, rugged. Great everyday beater watch. Casio is the best bang for the buck. When will the USA start to make cheap dependable watches? Japanese know how to make watches. I have all but one watch with Japanese movements. Love them all. Buy this watch, as u won't regret it, or any Casio watch.

This is honestly one of the better watches you can get for the money. It does exactly what it needs to do, with no extra fuss. I personally keep a couple of these in my car and backpack for trips, because let's be honest - no one cares if a $15 watch gets broken, but a more expensive watch would definitely ruin your day. I like the 80ies retro look as well, and it weighs next to nothing. I can hardly feel it on my arm, which is great. I haven't fully tested the water resistance yet, but the claim for 50 meter resistance might be a bit much. It's fair to say that it will survive light swimming or showering, but I doubt it would withstand pressure from any form of diving. hi first time visitor but not the last, we was only passing by and my son saw the watch he's been after for ages.when we walked in we was greeted by a lovely that gave us all the info we needed and even set the time and date on the watch for us , really pleased and looking forward to passing by again and definitely having a look
I needed to replace the strap on my old Casio Vintage. It became apparent that for a few more pounds I could buy a new Casio Vintage at £25 each. I bought 2. Only one instore. I will pick up the second watch later this weel. The staff at Hinds in Banbury were not only helpfull but also had a sense of humour.
I’ve used these watches over a period of years. They are inexpensive, very functional and the watch itself robust. The ‘weakness’ lies in the strap which after a time will break. Replacing the strap is almost as expensive as buying a new watch - which may well be the marketing aim! It is a pity that a perfectly functioning watch can no longer be used but I was happy enough to leave it at the shop to re-cycled. Perhaps a compromise could be found by improving the longevity of the rubber strap or offering an alternative strap.The service at the shop by the sales attendant was excellent.Peter Ferrary
The watch strap was broken. The lady who helped me kindly pointed out that the watch was broken where the strap had to be fitted and that the strap should not be fitted as it would come away and I could lose the watch. I am very grateful to her for telling me that and for being able to let me have a replacement identical to the brokrn one.
I have worked as a mechanic for 38 yrs and this watch is perfect for me. It is virtually indestructable, resistant to all oils, greases etc that I work with and keeps good time. This is the 4th one I have owned, only being replaced due to loss or the screen becoming difficult to read from scratches.

Long battery life, wash your hands, looks good and is accurate. For 20 delivered. I wear it from morning to night and it has taken me away from my phone. How cool is that. I'd been wearing a traditional wind after my old W59 started malfunctioning (you could take it out of the case and set it, but if you pressed any of the buttons while it was in the case, the display would disappear), because I'd looked at newer models and either thought them too bulky (most ladies' watches seem to dainty for me, but men's watches are too bulky) or needlessly pricey. But after I had to reset my wind three times in a four-hour period, I finally gave up and ordered another W59. The buttons/modes makes sense, I can swim with it if I want to, and I've got the stopwatch I like (very useful, that). The only thing I can fault it for is not having that strong of a lamp, but I haven't found any other watches that can do any better (Illuminator included). ...
