Awesome watch. Everything I wanted it to be and more. The screen is so easy to read even in bright sun. Very comfortable on the wrist and updates or changes needed are a breeze with the well laid out app. I bought direct from Casio and the service was exemplary. Will certainly recommend.

Fantastic!

I absolutely love this watch, I’ve got many g-shocks and wasn’t sure about this but took a gamble. I’m glad I did, it’s become my daily. I have had all Apple Watches up to 6 and I got sick to death of having to charge it every single night, what good is a sleep tracker if it’s dead!? All the notifications and rubbish it would pop up with drive me insane! So I binned it and went back to a traditional watch. The GBD-H2000 is just the right amount of “smart” I don’t care for notifications about text messages or Facebook posts but this watch will show you them if you want it to. Solar is the icing on the cake as it just keeps the battery topped all the time. The new Casio watches app is good, far better than the previous move app. The watch is quite large but surprisingly comfortable, very light, the MIP display can be read at any angle whether in bright sunshine or pitch black as it has auto light on for up to 5 seconds when you raise your wrist when it’s dark. If you’re on the fence about this watch I say go for it. It is well worth the money, it really is a fantastic watch, probably more so if you’re already a G-SHOCK fan. Amazing 10/10 from me!

Great update to H1000

Love the look and the functionality of the watch. Me myself would prefer if it was bigger and weighed a bit more as I like bigger watches (like GBR-B1000).I am glad Casio now has the messages and notifications on the screen in full so you can read them without going through the menu (thank god).Love the light that comes on when switching functions, much needed. The screen is beautiful always pick a MIP LCD over a coloured screen, so easy to read and just looks sooo good. The data given through the watch for work outs/runs/swim etc are great, giving the carbs, protein or fat used. The app is really good lots of data and can re-do the work out to see your peek heart rate and what was the hard part. We would like more functionality prehaps a solar graph to show when we are getting recharge as garmin has.Over all I would say definitely a 8/10 (if they sort out the two issue then easy a 9/10)Definitely worth the moneyWell done Casio

Great watch but still has some flaws
28 March 2023

I love G-Shock, I have a collection, several rare ones, but I purchased this as I wanted one that tracks my fitness as I’m a keen cyclist. So first impressions, it looks amazing, the size, the build quality, just what you would expect in a G-Shock, even the interface is intuitive, and it tracks well. But this is where it stops, sadly it cannot connect to Strava, or any other third party health apps. So now I have information all over my phone relating to my health and fitness. I was even more surprised that Casio have collaborated with Polar on this watch which is a company that does link with Strave etc. yet Casio still wants to run a standalone health app which I’m sure many will find frustrating.Apart from that it’s a great watch, a multi platform sport tracker ... MoreI love G-Shock, I have a collection, several rare ones, but I purchased this as I wanted one that tracks my fitness as I’m a keen cyclist. Great watch let down by a few niggles
26 March 2023

I purchased this watch as I was sick of charging my other popular smart watch. Battery is amazing and health tracking is good. My main issues are as follows:1. Unable to disable the watch connected to phone notification whenever you move out of range from your phone.2. Unable to choose selected days when setting alarm.3. Auto Syncing to your phone and the app need some serious work.

Great watch, terrible software/app
24 March 2023

Pleased with the build quality of the watch and the features. I am enjoying having the heart rate monitor, gym tracking and almanac mostly. Also I’m happy with the size of it - it isn’t in your face but also not too small (I have a medium/large wrist).I am very disappointed with the Casio app and how it syncs with the watch. Firstly, it’s not user friendly or intuitive. There are 5 basic watch face displays to choose from, with the ability to customise one type and even then, it’s very basic customisation (you can just replace what data is displayed). The data upload is inconsistent - some days it appears in the app, sometimes it doesn’t. It is a decent sports watch
10 April 2023

coming from Mudmaster I was quite disappointed with the size and shape. the fitness tracking workout can view a breakdown of your stats on the watch but is quite confusing. The material feels like Casio was somehow cutting corners, and the screen is not as vibrant as you would expect. However, the battery is incredible and since 1st full charge, I didn't need to repeat the process again. Quickly became my everyday G-Shock.
25 June 2023

Quickly became my everyday G-Shock. Very light and comfortable. Great clear lcd screen even in bright days. Love the ability to configure my own screen preferences. Notifications are brilliant as you can quickly glance at the watch without looking at the phone. I gave it a boost charge when it arrived and not needed to recharge in three weeks despite having used most of the apps, alarms and notifications so the solar change must be keeping it topped up. Delighted with the watch and can't find fault. I just need to remember to activate the walking app as i'm missing out on the data collection so it would be good if this could be done as a default rather than as an app. Anyway love the watch and would recommend it.

The GBD-H2000 is a rather peculiar watch, and it truly stands out from the other G-Shocks thanks to its high contrast MIP display. The design of the band and lugs are quite unique to G-Shocks, since it allows to watch to lie completely flat and ensure a comfortable fit on any wrist.I had little interest in the fitness features on offer, but I thought this would be a nice watch to have because of the Bluetooth/GPS/Solar charging capabilities.Unfortunately, this watch just did not feel quite right, and I was unable to wear it.Throughout the entire process, FCW were exceptionally professional, responsive and thoroughly understanding.I had contacted one of their colleagues over the phone to discuss returns, since this is not something I had done before, but I ... MoreThe GBD-H2000 is a rather peculiar watch, and it truly stands out from the other G-Shocks thanks to its high contrast MIP display. The design of the band and lugs are quite unique to G-Shocks, since it allows to watch to lie completely flat and ensure a comfortable fit on any wrist.I had little interest in the fitness features on offer, but I thought this would be a nice watch to have because of the Bluetooth/GPS/Solar charging capabilities.Unfortunately, this watch just did not feel quite right, and I was unable to wear it.Throughout the entire process, FCW were exceptionally professional, responsive and thoroughly understanding.I had contacted one of their colleagues over the phone to discuss returns, since this is not something I had done before, but I was reassured that the returns process would be smooth and without issues. After the watch was sent back via Royal Mail, the following day I was pleasantly surprised to receive my refund back the same day that FCW had received the watch - this is a testament to their exemplary customer service.I have already bought 2 watches from FCW before, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to all my family and friends.

Sensational watch - loved it - but sent it back
27 March 2023

This is a great little unit - superb features, battery life and more. But talks to absolutely no other app except Casio app. No strava, no apple health, no anything else - and I sadly had to send it back. Why Casio, why!!?You guys should be killing it in smartwatches - but silly errors like this ruin the product
