This Casio Wrist Watch missing screws missing one screw to merge underwater for over 1 hour submerged under the water for more than 2 hours and this watch still works. regardless if the screws are missing and this watch is underneath the water just watch back electronics the water did not affect the electronics the water did not leak in the missing screw hole. stop arguing perjury stop arguing premeditated perjury again against the Casio Watch Company

I've been buying Casio g shocks since the mid 80's and love them so much. this model along with other ones are virtually indestructible. one feature not many people know about is the trimmer adjustment cap in the watch. it allows you to speed up or slow down the watch so you can adjust the watch to gain 1 or two seconds a month . this watch it counterclockwise to speed up and clockwise to slow it down making small adjustments every 12 hours then readjust time with the national time standard of www.time.gov. GShocks are such a great value watch that last for many years . just remember to register your watch on the Casio website they will double your 1 year warranty to two years.

I was keen to get another but this time with the solar power, and thought this looked great with the negative display. It does look great, so long as you don't want to read the display in anything other than ideal conditions. Sadly, I prefer to be able to see the time on a watch, so this is getting returned and I'll order the standard display version.

This watch is fantastic. It has so many features. I like that it is an atomic watch that will keep accurate time and a calendar function. Plus you never need batteries for it, as the solar cell keeps the watch charged during normal wear. It allows for multiple alarm settings, stopwatch, as well as a count down. If your a fisherman it has a moon phase and tide graph.... How cool is that!!

While I don't have a regular requirement for this feature, I have taken time to read up on it in the manual, and it's been quite educational!In conclusion, this watch is an extremely functional device and incredible value for money. The watch came new, not refurbish as did another model that I returned. I does all it says it does. The instruction is very small print and it woukd have been nice if Casio put either a link to or the web address for downloading the instructions to .pdf. I like the atomic time keeping because you know the time is always correct. I like fact the battery is charged by sunlight and it holds a charge a very long time. Nighttime illumination (by press of a button) is just bright enough but could be a little brighter and it would be better. Overall, I find nothing negative or cautionary to report.

It doesn't get in your way either! It has every time-based function you need on a watch, so has no functions such a compass etc, but this makes this watch what it is and what it should be - a fantastic time-keeper and an invaluable tool.It's very rugged and, despite varied use, it's survived so far with zero scratches and no damage to the strap either. It's as reliable and as comfy as it was when new, looking like it's a new watch still!I highly recommend this watch if you're looking for a watch that is rugged and difficult to damage (especially with it's drop protection), that's accurate, has all the valuable time-based tools you need and one that looks good and is very reliable.
Received this order quickly.I have the negative screen model already, but finding that difficult to read in the poor winter light.This one is easily read at the right angle.The battery indicator showed "m" straight out of the tin and "h" after about a week.The time and date were correct out of the tin as well. Purchased direct from Casio. Shipping was very prompt. Watch has the features I need, and looks good. It is big enough to make watch features easier to see. Watch band starts wide where attached to watch, then tapers to a narrower width. Would respectfully recommend that band stay the same width, with a double buckle to enhance band life.
I ordered this particular g-shock because it does everything I need for a day to day watch. Its perfect, robust, lovely size and it's reasonably simple but has great functions. I would choose this version over the black screen as it is easy to see in all light conditions and the backlight looks really nice in the dark. The moon/tide functions are really nice. I use the stopwatch for running. The countdown timer in the gym. The world time is great for travelling as are the alarms. Looks nice on my wrist and flawlessly connects to satellite overnight. It's also very tough and has dealt with water/dust/oil etc at work with no problems. Highly recommended, especially for the price.
