Not a pro keyboard. Has some nice sounds, Breathy Sax and some very good electric piano sounds. Acoustic piano sounds not to my liking. I like the weight, can carry on holidays to practice. Very good budget purchase or starter keyboard.

Casio PX-S3100 Keyboard

I needed a quick replacement for my older keyboard that developed a fault, I had a gig in four days. I looked at all the normal stores and PMT had the exact one in stock. I ordered it staraight away and it came next day (free delivery). Perfect service. I will definately use PMT again. Thank you.

Excellent sound and great weighted key feel

Having played a PX-5S for about the past 10 years, I am very pleased with this piano. I tried a Yamaha P-125 between the two Casios, and really prefer the PX-S3100 over the Yamaha. And, it's really small and light to take on the road. Very nice piano!

Feature Rich Digital Piano Incredible Price!!

This light weight 88 key piano is absolutely amazing! Beautiful aesthetics, great tones, awesome rhythm & accompaniment. It checked off all the boxes! My only con is the internal speakers. By no means is it terrible sound, just lacking some low end & would benefit from more wattage, but they get the job done. I recommend you run it through a keyboard amp or sound system it sounded incredible through my rig. Don't hesitate get yours today!

Surprisingly very well built with especially surprising power in the built in speakers (especially when used for Bluetooth) and it feels very nice to play and navigate with the touch panel.Tonnes of sounds available and features allowing you to tweak and fully customise the sounds far in excess of limiting this to piano playing focus play only. Superbly Designed Digital Piano

The PX-S3100 is an amazing piano with features that will delight all pianists, organists and arrangers. The tone selection is incredible and also the rhythm/accompaniment choice is brilliant. I have had this instrument since the end of January and I'm still learning new features and settings that it has. The Casio Music Space app is free and allows you to see all the settings in real time on a tablet or cellphone screen. I am blown away with the quality of this Casio digital piano!

Dig my Casio 3100. Great keybed. Awesome sound. Cool to be able to run it on 6 AA batteries too. Great value at 870 range. Dig it.

Very nice keyboard except ....

it is overly complicated with 700 sounds all operated through a scrolling led window. My only reason to buy this PX-S3100 is because I have the PX-S3000 and I have all the accessories that goes along with the PX-S3000 like the keyboard stand, the triple pedal and the carrying bag that is made exclusively for the PX-S3000. All these accessories can be used with the PX-S3100. So here is the thing, the Casio WU-BT10 Bluetooth MIDI and Audio Adapter is completely useless. The delay with the bluetooth Midi is totally unusable because well.... I mean when you play the piano, it is a real time thing.... like if you want to sync with a song.... there is no way that you can sync with a song if the note that you play sounds out a second later after you hit the note and plus ... Moreit is overly complicated with 700 sounds all operated through a scrolling led window. I mean when you play the piano, it is a real time thing.... like if you want to sync with a song.... there is no way that you can sync with a song if the note that you play sounds out a second later after you hit the note and plus if you use the BT Audio to play music and lets say GarageBand to record, this becomes an absolute mess of delayed midi to the iPad with GarageBand and delayed audio feeding into your piano speakers. What is Casio thinking about? and not only that Casio has removed the Aux-in on all there newest keyboards except the PX-S3100. No Aux-in on the PX-S1100. No Aux-in on the PX-S5000, S6000 or S7000 which mean no more DAW sounds where you send midi data from your keyboard to a DAW and the DAW sends back the sound of the note to your AUX-In so your keyboard speakers will make the note sound. With the S3100 you can still use USB Midi to send the note and the Aux-In to hear the sound on your keyboard speakers. So basically the WU-BT10 is useless which makes the S3100 the same as the S3000 as this was really the only main new feature that they added. I think the speakers have better sounds. Oh well I had to upgrade now to the S3100 to fully utilize my S3000 accessories. If you are just getting into the world of electronic Music Keyboards, the cheaper Casio keyboards with less sounds might be a better choice as yes 700 sounds is wonderful but this whole keyboard is really hard to learn especially for a 62 year old man. While yes you will eventually learn the most of the needed keyboard combinations, this keyboard is daunting to use. I did hear that you can now turn off stretch tuning. This is a nice keyboard but not worth the price but if you have the money and you want the newer version of the S3000, then by all means do what I did and swap in the new s3100 and I will be giving my old S3000 to my daughter. Don't buy the new keyboard as this is the end of line where Casio doesn't make keyboards with Aux-in.
