I have had this model watch for at least two years. I’m this time I have used it specifically in my occupation within the mining industry. I work in a processing area which is dirty and noisy. I rely on the vibration on the timer function for various tasks that are to be within a certain duration. Sound activated alarms on a watch are not audible. This watch has proved to be durable and above all practical for my job. I have purchased another watch of the same type as a back up. I am surprised as to how long my first vibration alarm watch has lasted and at some stage at least the battery will fail. Hence the back up. I highly recommend this hardy watch especially for situations where this type of alarm is appropriate.

Almost a Baby G Shock

I got this solely for the vibrating alarm. It has worked like a champ. The watch is far more comfortable than I expected; super lightweight with plenty of adjustment in the band. I do not see this as a stylish watch, but rather a serious tool watch. Despite not having the bullet proof attributes of the G-Shock, I reckon this will stand up to whatever I throw at it. The cost for features ratio is simply amazing. Buy it if you want a tough, reliable, full of horological history tool watch with a vibrating alrum.

Best Watch For The Money

You're not going to find a better watch for the price. This is loaded with features, but my favorite is the vibration alarm. The vibration alarm is great if you're needing an alarm in a noisy area (concert, sporting event, etc), or in a very quiet area (library, class, etc). Another great advantage of this watch is the battery life...TEN YEARS! I've had mine for a little over 4 years and haven't had any problems with it. Sun, rain, snow, ice, shower, pool, ocean...no problems at all...it's a great watch!

Excellent deal for deaf people!

I am very deaf and the usual suggested solution to being unable to hear alarm clocks is to have a vibrating clock or pad under your pillow. However, there is chance that if you move away from these during the night you won't feel the vibration, so I prefer a watch. I've had a few, and this is like the others in that it has loads of other functions, which I am unlikely to ever use, but maybe other buyers do. All these functions make it somewhat fiddly to set (and the print in the instruction book is really small!), but you get used to it. I only wear it in bed, so I don't care what it looks like. Face display too dark indoors. Backlight too short

The face display is too dark indoors despite various lighting levels. The lifespan of the backlight is too short to be of any help because navigating its features take longer than the few seconds you are given before it turns off. Counterproductive. Returned this the next day. Purchased a different one elsewhere in the same price point with more features and doesn't have this problem.

Good for the price, men's watch

Size of watch is nice, and was easy to set the time using the booklet that came with it. Light feature only lasts a second, so you better have quick eyes! I like the overall looks, but notice its not a scratch resistant face. Also, sort of shiny screws on face too bright. I might use some black paint to subdue. Other than that fits the bill.

Great value and features; highly recommended

Casio upholds its reputation for squeezing a large number of functions into one wristwatch, and at an extraordinary price. The watch is sporty but very sturdy. It comes with a rather daunting user's guide, but the operation is actually quite simple and, once you get the basic principles, almost intuitive. Phenomenal value and quality; you can't really go wrong with this supremely functional watch.

Great product. First time buying this brand nut happy so far. The look, features and durability is awesome. Its kind of old school looking and that is what made me buy it to begin with.

Quality Basic Watch

I purchased this Casio a few weeks ago as a work watch since it has time, date, and year. The color and style had my attention, I like the all black out look, but theirs a caveat, it's a bit hard to see the time in daylight and in-doors light, the numbers wash in with the background and the push in light only stays on for 3 seconds or less. At the right angle and light you can see the time. Just be aware with this very small issue. But overall you definitely get that Casio quality build that would last year's to come.
