I've had one Casio watch before and felt it was too "nice" for daily use. Yes, a $20 watch felt too nice for me. So, I wanted a more "basic" watch and this was perfect. A bit bulky compared to my other but I like it. The display is like a privacy screen where you have to be looking directly at it to see the time which I like. Also, the band doesn't leave any tight red marks from wearing all day.

Really a 4.5 rating. The watch face is easy to read with time, day and date all clearly set out. The watch feels comfortable on my wrist. I had some initial difficultly with the settings however I now understand all the functions.

A stylish, easy to read and comfortable to wear digital watch with functions such as dual time, stopwatch ,countdown etc. The face depicts time,date, day,month and year and the watch calendar is set to 2099. The watch is not very robust and the strap needs looking after - it can and does easily suffer damage so be careful. It is light and easy to wear and looks great and quite reliable - overall the positives outweigh one or two negatives so I would recommend this watch if (like mine) it was obtained at a very good price!
Great watch at the price. I wanted a watch that sounded an hourly chime, was easy to read time/day/date and was light weight. This has it all and for £30 is a bargain. I have given it 4 stars only because the date format is set to YYYY MM DD which is a little irritating. The staff member Alfie at Weymouth provided great customer service. The same watch is cheaper elsewhere but I like the security of buying from the high street and Alfie certainly influenced my decision in the end.
Love it! The perfect cheap, ugly Casio. Awesome, big numbers for my old eyes. Long band fits over my wetsuit, with gloves. Alarm, stopwatch, dual time, 100m water resistance. What more do you need?
I tried this "blackout" version to see the time in the dark. My previous "Illuminator" watch was too bright and created too much glare to see when I wake up in the middle of night. This watch is OK for that. But the back-light only lights up one corner and the other three corners are very dim. This watch is difficult to see in daylight and indoor lighting. It does help if you are directly above it. The numbers appear nothing like they do in the picture. The contrast is not as sharp, especially with the smaller numbers. I love Casio watches, but I do NOT recommend the "Blackout" version.
It is a nice watch. It came packaged good. It does everything it says. I wasn't sure about buying it with some of the reviews saying it was too dark. They were right. You can see it better outside and in bright lights but in low light, its hard to see. The backlight was not very bright. But overall, It's a nice watch, nice size, but the other reviews were right, it can be hard to see.
