This Casio does what you expect out of any standard digital watch: displays the time clearly for readability. The buttons are easy to press and set-up is straightforward. The watch's wrist strap fits snug and comfortably on my wrist. As for the "back-light" feature, it's not my kind of color. This model has a Pear-green light when pressing the LED Light button. Indi-glow (a.k.a. an indigo colored LED) is a better looking back-light in my opinion, but that's just my preference. If there is a Casio watch model with Indigo LEDs, I would prefer to use that one.

As an older person, I was concerned that the digital display would be too small and difficult to read. However, to my delight, the display is easy to read and very clear, even without glasses.I am also happy with the band, which is very easy to fasten and unfasten. If the watch is put on and removed carefully, it should last as long as the watch itself.The loss of seconds in a month so far, is well within the range stated in the manufacturers specification, and is easy and simple to adjust. Each other display feature, such as date, day and even year, are an added bonus.Overall, I give the watch five (5) stars.

Beautiful time piece. Long lasting. Easy to clean and wipe and disinfect the surface of. Has lots of buttons including a handy reminder button to alert you to wake up and go to a meeting ! When my watch battery died, I simply bought a new one it was only 14.99 so, it was nearly cheaper than paying to have the battery replaced, I did buy a fresh one and gave the old one with dead battery to an African Children's Charity. The screen on the one I had for 11 years never got scratched and the figures that say the time are large on this watch; one may read it without putting on one's reading spectacles ! I didn't actually buy the one I had for 11 years I found it in the street, someone must have dropped it. it was near a gymnasium (in San Francisco), never the less ... MoreBeautiful time piece. I really like this Casio W96H-1AV watch. I buy these for under $20.00 and get about 2-3 years out of them. I am a welder and service generators so I beat them up so bad, there is no need for a fancier watch. These are an incredible value, they take a beating so well and I only buy a new one because the band breaks first and it is about the same price to buy another watch than fix band. The watch itself keeps great time and I have several with broken bands that are still going after 12 plus years...

The light in my husband's old watch quit working, but he loves the ability to see what time it is in the middle of the night, so a new watch was in order. He also likes to be able to not only see the nice large numbers but to set an alarm. This watch meets all of his needs and the price was great at just about $22. Every time he looks at the watch, he thanks me for this wonderful new watch.
Everyday watch:-Water Resistant-Simple Design-DurableThis watch fits my style perfectly. This is the third time I've bought this watch. the style is simple. It works great for everyday life and work. Yes, you'll probably get paint scratches on it, but that cleans up real easy with toothpaste. Though it's not super fancy, it doesn't look out of place when wearing a regular suit.

As for the case the dimensions are medium for small wrist and are of plastic build I especially like the pushers as they can be easy used with gloves a big plus for cyclists and hobbiest that require glove use. My final thoughts this is actually a good value, I’m reducing to 4stars only because of the plastic acrylic mineral the dial is made from it just too susceptible for scratches however for large wrist guys (greater than 6.5in) I would recommend the W800 which is very similar in features.
